Abstract

This resesearch aims to examine the relationship between the variables Work Life Balance, Emotional Intelligence, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance. The mediating role of Job Satisfaction is used to analyze the indirect influence between variables. Respondents in this resesearch were permanent employees at PT Central Sandang Jayatama Cilacap. The sampling technique was applied to a population of 800 employees at PT. Central Sandang Jayatama Cilacap. The sample size was initially determined using Slovin’s formula with a 10% margin of error, resulting in 89 respondents. To enhance the validity and representativeness of the data, the sample size was subsequently increased to 150 respondents. The data were processed and analyzed using the SmartPLS software. A quantitative approach was chosen to explain the causal relationship between variables. The results of the resesearch showed that Work Life Balance had no significant effect on employee performance, Emotional Intelligence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Work Life Balance and Emotional Intelligence had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and Work Life Balance and Emotional Intelligence had a significant effect on Employee Performance through the mediation of Job Satisfaction. This resesearch contributes by including the variable Job Satisfaction as a mediator between Work Life Balance, Emotional Intelligence, and Employee Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to examined the effect of work life balance and organizational justice on employee performance with organizational citizenship behaviour as a mediating variable. The population in this study were employees of the Banyumas Land Office. This research applies a quantitative approach method. The sample used amounted to 110 employees and the respondents were obtained using non probability sampling with purposive sampling. The type of data in this study is primary data and the instrument used in data collection is a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale measurement. While the analysis technique used is SEM PLS version 3.0. The results showed that work life balance and organizational justice had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, work life balance and organizational justice had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational citizenship had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational citizenship behavior mediated the effect of work life balance on employee performance. However, organizational citizenship behavior cannot mediate the influence of organizational justice on employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of emotional intelligence and communication on employee performance, with knowledge sharing serving as a mediating variable in the agrotourism sector.Method: This study employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through offline questionnaire distribution. A total of 152 employees of the PTPN IX Kaligua region participated as respondents. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS with the support of SmartPLS version 4.Result: The findings indicate that emotional intelligence, communication, and knowledge sharing each have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between communication and employee performance. However, knowledge sharing does not mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and employee performance.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: These findings highlight the importance of emotional intelligence, communication, and knowledge sharing in improving employee performance. Strengthening communication practices and fostering knowledge sharing among employees can enhance productivity, which may benefit organizational performance and, in the broader context, contribute to economic growth and development.Originality/Value: This study proposes a model that positions knowledge sharing as an intervening mechanism linking emotional intelligence and communication to employee performance in the agrotourism sector.
