Abstract

Learning media is one of the supporting facilities in teaching and learning activities. In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, online-based learning media is very necessary. The lack of teacher ability in using interactive learning media makes online learning even more boring, especially in learning to write poetry. The articulate storyline is one software that can produce more interesting learning media. Using many features can produce learning media that are more varied, innovative, and easy to use. The research method used is RND, which has ten research steps that the researchers then simplified into four main steps, namely the research and data collection stage, the planning stage, the product development stage, and the validation and testing stage. Media development results are a product of a poem made by class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Sukabumi. The product was produced after learning poetry material using online interactive learning media. Three validators assessed the media feasibility level. The material validator is given a feasibility value of 82%, the medium validator is given a value of 80%, and the Indonesian language learning validator is given 84%. Meanwhile, 89% of students responded "Ya" in student responses, and 11% of students responded "Tidak". Based on the validator's assessment results, the media was considered very feasible to be used in schools and received a positive response from students.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis with the subject in this research being a program on the Trans 7 channel, namely the program "Enah Makes Enak" which was taken using the listening and recording method with a total of three episodes with a duration of approximately 60 minutes per broadcast. The focus of this research is to analyze code-switching and mixing as well as the factors causing code-switching and code-mixing. Then the data collection technique used in this research is that data collection is carried out using the listening method using note-taking, recording, and data transcription techniques. Another instrument used in this research consisted of hardware in the form of a recording device, namely a cell phone, which was used to record verbal data from the Enah Bikin Enak broadcast. Results and Discussion After analyzing the forms of code-switching and code-mixing, researchers also found several factors in the occurrence of code-switching and code-mixing. In code-mixed speech, two factors were found to cause code-mixing and no factors were found to cause code-switching.

Abstract

 Oral literature as a culture has grown and cultivated in a society that supports it from generation to generation. Mantras are essentially used as a medium to ask God for prayers. Mantras are used as a link between humans and God in the hope that all requests will be granted quickly. This study focuses on structural analysis of the Tali Ari Ari Mantra by analyzing the building blocks, narrative context, and function of both the Tali Ari Ari Mantra. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The approach used is a qualitative research approach with a descriptive analysis research design. This data collection is done by way of interviews, recording, and recording. The results of this study are in the form of the structure of the Tali Ari Ari spells including the spell building elements for each spell. There are six building elements for the Tali Ari Ari spells resulting in the title element, opening, intention, suggestion element, goal element, element closing. The discussion of the research resulted in two narrative contexts, two functions of the Tali Ari Ari mantra. The context of the narrative on the Tali Ari Ari mantra is the process of the baby giving birth and then the function of the Tali Ari Ari mantra is to expedite when the process of giving birth to a baby goes smoothly without any obstacles

Abstract

Keterampilan menyimak merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Melalui keterampilan menyimak yang baik, siswa akan dengan mudah menangkap dan memahami setiap materi yang disampaikan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari strategi pembelajaran Direct Listening Thinking Activity terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks berita siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif berbentuk eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal melalui kegiatan pretest menyimak teks berita, diketahui nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 61,91, sedangkan setelah siswa diberikan treatment dan posttest, nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 78,09. Kemudian untuk mengetahui selisih dari nilai pretest dan posttest, maka dilakukan uji N-gain dan diperoleh nilai N-gain 0,4026 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Selanjutnya, dalam pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-test, diketahui bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai thitung>ttabel yaitu 7.406 > 2.034, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Direct Listening Thinking Activity berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks berita siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2023/2024.Kata kunci: Strategi DLTA, Menyimak, Teks Berita

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems with students' ability to understand reading which was still relatively low. An effort to overcome this is by using a learning model that can help improve reading comprehension skills, namely the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model. This research aims to determine the effect of the CIRC learning model on the ability to read and understand expository texts of class X students at SMAN 2 Sukabumi City before and after being given treatment. This research method uses quantitative pre-experimental research design with a One-Group Pretest Posttest design. The research instrument used pretest-posttest questions in the form of description questions and the sample from this research was class X-J, totaling 31 students. The research results obtained from the average posttest score were 75.10 while the pretest score was 53.03. Apart from that, the t-test results also show that tcount 14.51 is greater than ttable 2.042. Thus, Ha is accepted to show that the CIRC learning model has an effect on the ability to read and understand expository texts in class X-J of SMAN 2 Sukabumi City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of discovery learning and YouTube on the ability to write short stories in class IX SMPN 4 Kota Sukabumi. This study used an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study was 26 students, using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was in the form of an essay test that was conducted twice, namely a pretest and a posttest. Based on the results of the analysis, there are several problems that cause students to have difficulty writing short story texts, namely difficulty developing ideas from the given theme, lack of vocabulary mastery, lack of student motivation in writing, and the use of learning models and media that are given less creatively. The results showed that the average score of students when doing the pretest was 53.31, which increased to 76.38 in the posttest results. The calculation results of the test were obtained using the t-test, obtained a t_hitung value of 15.072 and a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.00. Thus, the sig value (2-tailed) <0.05 which indicates that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning model and youtube has an effect on the ability of students in class IX SMP Negeri 4 Kota Sukabumi to write short stories.

Abstract

The observation results showing the low analytical skills of students make this research necessary to obtain results that the use of the Cooperative Script model has a significant impact on improving the ability to analyze negotiation texts of students in class X. SMA Negeri 1 Parungkuda is the place chosen to conduct the research. Two sample classes were randomly selected for research materials. The method used is quantitative with a True Experimental Design research design, especially the Posttest Only Control Group Design. To analyze the data, the Independent Samples t-test was used as a hypothesis test, which aims to compare the Cooperative Script learning model with conventional learning methods. This comparison is made by considering the average value (mean) of the two sample classes. The results of the Independent Sample t-test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From these results, it indicates that the Cooperative Script learning model has a significant impact on improving the analytical skills of negotiation texts of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Parungkuda. Abstract

The low analytical ability of students in understanding explanatory texts at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Kabandungan serves as the background of this study, which stems from the predominant use of lecture-based teaching methods that fail to actively involve learners in the learning process. This research aims to investigate the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on enhancing students’ ability to analyze explanatory texts in Grade VIII. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study involved two groups: an experimental class receiving PBL-based instruction and a control class taught through conventional methods. Data were collected using a post-test consisting of multiple-choice questions and analyzed through a t-test to determine significant differences between groups. The findings revealed that students taught with the PBL model achieved higher mean scores compared to those in the control class, indicating a statistically significant improvement. Therefore, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model demonstrates a positive and significant influence in fostering students’ analytical skills in processing explanatory texts effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan membaca siswa setelah menggunakan pendekatan Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan desain penelitian yang digunakan pre experimental design dengan model  the one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Kota Sukabumi dengan sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan kelas yang dijadikan sampel penelitian yaitu X Jasa Boga I. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal HOTS bahasa Indonesia pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir beserta alasan. Berdasarkan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas bahwa data hasil penelitian berdistribusi tidak normal dan kedua kelas memiliki varians yang homogen. Diketahui analisis data distribusi prates diperoleh hasil Mean 56.17 sedangkan pascates setelah diberikan stimulus atau perlakuan dengan pendekatan HOTS diperoleh hasil Mean 72.06, maka terdapat peningkatan nillai hasil belajar pascates setelah dilalukan stimulus dengan menerapkan pendekatan HOTS pada pembelajaran. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dibuktikan dalam Uji-t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (13.69 > 2.042) dan uji Wilcoxon Sign rank yang menghasilkan nilai (asym.sig. (2-tailed)) adalah 0.000 < 0.05 maka hasil hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar pada kemampuan berpikir siswa pada saat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa. Kata kunci: Pendekatan Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), Keterampilan Membaca

Abstract

Penelitian pengaruh panggunaan media pembelajaran Edpuzzle terhadap kemapuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Jampangkulon bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Edpuzzle terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Jampangkulon tahun ajar 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data mengenai perbandingan nilai penggunaan media Edpuzzle terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Jampangkulon dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran Edpuzzle rata-rata nilai yang didapatkan oleh siswa masih dalam kategori rendah dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Edpuzzle rata-rata nilai siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi. Diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 74,63 dan rata-rata nilai hasil posttest sebesar 89,63 dimana nilai posttest tersebut lebih tinggi dari nilai pretest. Selanjutnya berdasakan analisis statistic menggunakan rumus uji-t, diketahui thitung yang diperoleh adalah 7,57 dengan frekuensi 36-1=35, pada tarif signifikan 0,05 atau 5% diperoleh ttabel adalah 2,042. Jadi Thitung  Ttabel atau H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dari hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Edpuzzle memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Jampangkulon dan memberikan respon positif terhadap media pembelajaran Edpuzzle.
