Abstract

Religious education has a very important role in shaping moral and social values in adolescents, especially in the face of increasingly complex moral and social crises. The phenomenon of moral crisis among adolescents, such as violent behavior, drug abuse, and declining social values, shows the importance of efforts to restore morality through religious education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of religious education in overcoming moral and social crises among adolescents. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, which collects data from various articles, books, and journals related to religious education and social behavior of adolescents. The data analysis method used is content analysis by identifying relevant patterns and themes in the literature studied. The results of the analysis show that religious education has a positive impact on shaping adolescents' morality, reducing deviant behavior, and strengthening social values such as empathy, tolerance, and responsibility. In addition, religious education also plays a role in preventing violence and delinquent behavior through teaching the values of peace and conflict resolution. These findings underscore the importance of integrating religious education in the educational curriculum to equip adolescents with a solid moral foundation. However, the effectiveness of religious education in overcoming social crises is also influenced by the cultural context and the quality of teaching received by students.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has given birth to the phenomenon of virtual consumption that increasingly dominates modern consumer behavior patterns. Virtual consumption includes the purchase or use of digital goods and services that do not have a physical form, such as items in online games, virtual currency, and shopping through virtual reality platforms. This phenomenon not only has implications for changes in consumption styles, but also poses serious challenges for the traditional, physical-based retail industry. This study aims to examine in depth how virtual consumption affects the sustainability and adaptation strategies of traditional retail players. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature study method. Data were obtained from various scientific sources such as journal articles, academic books, and research reports, which were analyzed using content analysis methods to identify key patterns and themes. The results of the study show that virtual consumption, especially through media such as e-commerce, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR), shifts consumer orientation from physical experiences to immersive and personal digital experiences. This has an impact on decreasing visits to physical stores and encouraging traditional retailers to adopt omnichannel strategies, enrich physical store experiences, and apply digital technology adaptively. This study emphasizes that virtual consumption is not just a threat to traditional retail, but also an opportunity to innovate and re-arrange business strategies in the digital era. Therefore, understanding the dynamics of virtual consumption is important for industry players to remain relevant and competitive.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into creative industries and recruitment processes has introduced significant benefits in efficiency, automation, and content generation. However, this advancement brings with it serious ethical, legal, and governance challenges, particularly related to transparency, data accountability, and fairness. The ethical use of AI in recruitment has raised concerns about algorithmic discrimination and bias, while in creative sectors, it raises unresolved questions about intellectual property rights and authorship of AI-generated content. This study aims to explore and critically analyze the ethical implications of AI usage in both the creative and recruitment domains, focusing on legal uncertainty, transparency deficits, and governance limitations. The research employs a qualitative method through a literature review strategy, using secondary data from 10 selected peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 and 2025. The study applies content analysis to extract key themes such as algorithmic fairness, explainability, bias mitigation, legal frameworks, and cultural accountability. The findings suggest that AI systems in both sectors often operate in regulatory grey zones, lacking enforceable mechanisms for transparency, data protection, and human oversight. In recruitment, AI tools may amplify historical discrimination patterns, while in creative industries, generative models challenge traditional notions of authorship and intellectual ownership. To mitigate these issues, the study proposes a governance framework grounded in six principles: transparency, fairness, accountability, consent, auditability, and inclusivity. These principles serve as practical guidelines for developers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to build responsible AI ecosystems that promote innovation while safeguarding human dignity.

Abstract

Abstract

Understanding mental health stigma is essential to addressing global health inequalities. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review and library research to examine various dimensions of mental health stigma in various cultural contexts. By synthesizing findings from various qualitative studies, we aim to uncover common themes and unique cultural factors that influence stigma against mental health. Our analysis reveals that stigma is widespread and appears in a variety of ways, significantly influencing individuals' desire to seek help and comply with treatment. Factors such as cultural beliefs, social norms, and lack of education contribute to the sustainability of stigma. In addition, the role of media and language in shaping perceptions of mental illness is also explored. The study highlights the need for culturally sensitive interventions and policies that address the root causes of stigma. These findings suggest that global efforts to reduce mental health stigma should consider cultural specifics and involve community-based strategies to encourage acceptance and support for individuals with mental health conditions. Further research should focus on the development and evaluation of such interventions to ensure their effectiveness in a variety of cultural settings. By broadening our understanding of mental health stigma from a global perspective, this study contributes to a broader discourse on mental health equity and the development of more inclusive health policies.

Abstract

Public service advertisements (PSAs) play an important role in conveying social messages to shape people's behavior positively. However, the effectiveness of these messages is highly dependent on the persuasive language strategies used. This study aims to analyze persuasive language strategies in public service advertisements from a pragmatic perspective, focusing on the use of metaphors, repetitions, imperatives, and language styles that are appropriate to the social and cultural context. The method used is an explanatory literature study, which collects and analyzes data from various journal articles, books, and related research reports. Data were collected through documentation studies, then analyzed using a qualitative content analysis approach to identify patterns and main themes in persuasive language strategies. The results of the study indicate that the use of metaphors and repetitions consistently increases the emotional appeal and memory of the audience, while the use of imperatives and framing helps strengthen the urgency of the message. This pragmatic approach allows advertisements to adapt messages to the social and cultural values โ€‹โ€‹of the community, thereby strengthening the effectiveness of communication. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how language strategies can influence audience perceptions and behavior in the context of public service advertisements, as well as the importance of considering cultural context in designing effective messages.
