Abstract

Faculty of Teacher Training and Administrative Education is an administrative service at Bung Hatta University, Padang City. The data collection process for incoming and outgoing letters at the FKIP Administrative Unit is still said to be using the manual method. This study aims to produce a desktop-based administrative information system at the Teaching and Education Faculty with the aim of facilitating managers in recording incoming and outgoing mail numbers. This study uses the waterfall method with the design stages starting from analysis, system design using models including Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Database storage using MySQL. The design phase ends with testing the program to produce an administration application at the Bung Hatta University FKIP using Java Netbeans IDE 8.1 and MySQL. This application can facilitate and speed up the process of data collection and search for incoming and outgoing mail numbers in the FKIP Administration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a student savings application at TK al-Hurriyah. The problem that arises is that the savings data management system that is currently running is still being done manually, recording and storing data is written in a book, and the calculations are still being done with a calculator. Based on the findings that show that the lack of an existing system indicates a deficiency in the software section to help manage savings data. So it is necessary to have a separate system for student savings, namely a web-based student savings information system. This study uses the system requirements method and system modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language) to describe visually, which is then implemented with the PHP programming language (Hypertext Preprocessor) with MySQL database as the database used. The benefits of this research are expected to facilitate the process of collecting data on savings of TK al Hurriyah students and storing savings data, so that the information you want to get later will run quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Reading interest is a key indicator in assessing the success of library services. However, manually understanding visitors' preferences poses a challenge for library managers. This study aims to classify the reading interests of regional library visitors by employing the Naïve Bayes algorithm, a widely-used classification method in data mining. The research data includes visit records and book borrowing data from a regional library. Through a quantitative approach, this study analyzes reading interest patterns and evaluates the performance of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in classifying these interests. The analysis results show that the algorithm achieves an accuracy of 65%, with a precision of 62%, recall of 63%, and F1-score of 63%. These findings are expected to assist libraries in formulating better-targeted collection management and service policies, contributing to the overall improvement of reading interest in the community. This study contributes to the field by providing a practical, data-driven solution for libraries to enhance service quality through a better understanding of visitor preferences. Furthermore, it demonstrates the applicability of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in a non-commercial context, encouraging future research on data-driven approaches in library management to support literacy and educational development

Abstract

This study aimed to find out a depiction of PAI learning model at SMKN of Lubuk Ubar in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu. This study used a qualitative approach, and the data sources were PAI teacher, class teacher, and school principal. This study used observation and interview techniques to gather data as regards objectives of this study. After the data were collected, the next step was to analyze the data using the approach of Miles et al comprised of selecting and mapping data, presenting data, and verifying conclusions. This study drew the following conclusion: the learning model applied by PAI teachers was first an active and cooperative learning model. It referred to a learning model that led students to be active and creative, not just listening, but also carrying out activities such as processing, finding, and utilizing information. Second, the contextual learning model, this model helped educators link between the materials taught and real-world situations experienced by students, so that students could find a relationship between the knowledge they had and its application in their lives as family and community members.

Abstract

IT Blue Print  (Cetak biru IT) pada intinya berisi rencana strategis perusahaan/institusi dalam mengimplementasikan dan membangun teknologi informasi/ sistem informasi di Perusahaan/institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model Blueprint IT dari segi arsitektur data, arsitektur aplikasi dan arsitektur teknologi menggunakan enterprise architecture Zachman Framework. lebih dikenal dengan cetak biru teknologi informasi, dimana cetak biru ini merupakan rancangan sistem teknologi informasi yang sifat menyeluruh dan terintegrasi. Metodologi digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada kerangka Enterprise Architecture Planning.Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan rancangan arsitektur data, aplikasi dan teknologi beserta entitas data, entitas bisnis serta bisnis proses dan fungsi bisnis proses sehingga dapat menggambarkan model blueprint IT beserta roadmap implementasi yang menjadi acuan dan pedoman kampus IAIN Curup untuk menyusun dokumen Blueprint IT IAIN Curup.Kata Kunci : Enterprise Architecture Planning, Zachman Framework, Perancangan, Cetak Biru

Abstract

Banyak sekali ketidakteraturan dalam penempatan buku-buku di rak buku perpustakaan sehingga sering sekali menjadi masalah pada proses pelayanan yang ditimbulkan karena sulitnya mahasiswa mendapatkan informasi tentang keberadaan buku, terjadinya kehilangan buku yang tidak diketahui keberadaannya serta sulitnya menemukan buku referensi yang pada umumnya sering dicari dan diminati mahasiswa berdasarkan kategori buku atau subjek buku pada suatu rak buku tersebut sehingga dapat memperlama waktu proses pencarian serta terjadinya antrian dalam transaksi peminjaman yang dilakukan oleh sistem. Pemecahan permasalahan penempatan buku-buku di perpustakaan Kampus dapat dilakukan mengunakan Data Mining metode Association Rule dengan algoritma apriori menggunakan Software Tanagra sebagai pengujian data mining yang diharapkan dapat mencari kecenderungan buku-buku yang sering dipinjam dan penempatan buku dapat diletakkan berdekatan berdasarkan pendekatan analisa menggunakan metode association rule sehingga dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mencari buku-buku secara tepat. Kata Kunci: Data mining, Association Rule, Algoritma Apriori.

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out a portrayal of the foster or adoptive parents’ strategies in building children's morals at the Ar-Rayhan orphanage of Curup, Bengkulu, using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were the foster parents at the orphanage, while the data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data of this study were analyzed by some stages comprising reduction, presentation, and conclusion. This study concluded that the foster parents’ strategies in developing children's morals at the Ar-Rayhan orphanage of Curup extended to: teaching children to get up at dawn and continuously involving them into subuh congregational prayer. After prayer, they were given spiritual activities and a sort of motivation for the children at the Ar-Rayhan Orphanage so that everything they underwent daily would lead to betterment.
