Abstract

This research aimed about employee’s motivation at Grand Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru. This research aims to: (1) to know about employee’s motivation. (2) to know the multi way to increase employee’s motivation at Grand Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru.This research was used descriptive quantitatif method to describe the issues. The sample used in this research was 44 people.The results of this research indicate that based on the research results obtained on the employee motivation at Grand Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru good enough. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the overall total score of internal factor and eksternal factor, which is 1.296 points.Keywords: Motivation, employee, internal factor, eksternal factor.

Abstract

Objectives: To show the prevalence of asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnant women and to find its correlation with preterm labor. Methods: This research was performed in Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. A total of 78 subjects joined this research. The first group consisted of 39 subjects that were having preterm delivery and the second group consisted of 39 subjects that were having term delivery. Urine analysis and culture were done in both groups. The subject was being considered to have asymptomatic bacteriuria if the urine culture showed a minimum of 100,000 bacteria/ml without any symptoms or signs of urinary tract infection. The number was then analyzed to reveal the correlation of asymptomatic bacteriuria with preterm delivery. Results: There were a significantly higher number of preterm deliveries in subjects whose age ranged between 15-19 year-old (28.20% vs 12.8%; p=0.033). While on the contrary, there was a significantly lower number of preterm delivery in subjects whose age ranged between 30-34 year-old (25.6% vs 5.12%; p=0.020).The incidence number of asymptomatic bacteriuria among all subjects is 21.79%. There was no significant difference of asymptomatic bacteriuria between preterm and a term delivery (23.07% vs 20.51%; p=0.784). Conclusions: There was no significant difference of asymptomatic bacteriuria between the subject with preterm delivery and term delivery, but the incidence of asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnant women in this study was quite high, reaching eight times higher than those stated in other study. Thus, routine urine culture screening policy in early pregnancy still cannot be omitted, considering that asymptomatic bacteriuria can lead to pyelonephritis which can cause maternal and fetal morbidity. Motor development is a term used to describe the behavior of movements carried out by the human body. Cognitive development is the stages of changes that occur in the span of human life to understand, process information, solve problems and know something. Socio-emotional or emotional development in childhood is marked by the emergence of evaluative emotions that are recognized as pride, shame, and guilt, where the emergence of these emotions indicates that children have begun to understand and use social rules and norms to assess their behavior

Abstract

The use of electronic student workhsheet as a support for learning the concept of protists has not been utilized optimally and has not trained students to think critically which is a skill that is much needed in facing challenges in the 21st century. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the electronic student worksheet on the protista concept in improving students' critical thinking skills. The research subjects through the small group test in development research were four students of class X State Aliyah Madrasah Kapuas. The critical thinking skills instrument from Facione was used to explore this data. The data analysis technique of the effectiveness of expectations is percentage. The results showed that evaluation and inference skills had increased. Other critical thinking skills did not show improvement, but the categories were at least good, namely interpretation, analysis, explanation, and self-regulation. Thus, electronic student workhseet on the protist concept can improve critical thinking skills at the high school level and can be used as an alternative learning to train students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) menghadapi masalah serius dalam pengelolaan sampah akibat tingginya jumlah penduduk dan banyaknya pendatang. Penutupan sementara TPA Piyungan pada tahun 2023 memperparah situasi. Menyikapi masalah ini, sebuah program di Pedukuhan Kalirandu melibatkan siswa MI dan MTS Al-Hadi II dalam kegiatan pengelolaan sampah plastik. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, mengajarkan teknik pemilahan sampah, dan mendorong kreativitas dengan mengubah botol plastik bekas menjadi pot untuk menanam Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mengurangi sampah plastik tetapi juga memberikan manfaat kesehatan dan keindahan lingkungan. Program ini berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab lingkungan pada remaja, serta menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sekolah, dan masyarakat dapat efektif dalam menangani masalah lingkungan di DIY.

Abstract

Faculty of Teacher Training and Administrative Education is an administrative service at Bung Hatta University, Padang City. The data collection process for incoming and outgoing letters at the FKIP Administrative Unit is still said to be using the manual method. This study aims to produce a desktop-based administrative information system at the Teaching and Education Faculty with the aim of facilitating managers in recording incoming and outgoing mail numbers. This study uses the waterfall method with the design stages starting from analysis, system design using models including Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Database storage using MySQL. The design phase ends with testing the program to produce an administration application at the Bung Hatta University FKIP using Java Netbeans IDE 8.1 and MySQL. This application can facilitate and speed up the process of data collection and search for incoming and outgoing mail numbers in the FKIP Administration.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the development of social media as a means of preaching, including Husain Basyaiban's Tiktok. This study aims to find out what da'wah messages are contained in the TikTok content in terms of the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth. Therefore, this study is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The semiotic analysis used is the Roland Barthes model, a theoretical framework that examines signs and their meanings in cultural contexts. In this analysis, we identified and interpreted the signs (visual and textual elements) in Husain Basyaiban's TikTok video, considering their cultural and social contexts. The results of the analysis show that the video contains several meanings and messages, namely: mutual respect between religious communities, not insulting other people's beliefs, respecting other people's religious rituals when religion is insulted, fighting, being careful in protecting your beliefs, the importance of conscience in maintaining tolerance, Islam is the true religion, there is no prejudice against religions other than Islam, preaching is an obligation, and Muslims carry a great trust. Then, in Husain Basyaiban's TikTok video, researchers also found the meaning of the video's denotation, connotation, and myth. With the meaning obtained, this study implies the importance of disseminating da'wah content through social media. Social media like TikTok can display short moral content but with deep meaning.*****Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan media sosial sebagai sarana dalam berdakwah diantaranya adalah Tiktok Husain Basyaiban. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja pesan dakwah yang terkandung dalam konten tiktok tersebut dilihat dari makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Oleh karenanya studi ini merupakan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis yang digunakan merupakan analisis semiotika dengan model Roland Barthes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa di dalam video tersebut mengandung beberapa makna dan pesan, yakni: saling menghormati antar umat beragama, tidak menghina keyakinan orang lain, menghormati ritual agama orang lain, ketika agama dihina wajib dilawan, berhati-hati dalam menjaga akidah, pentingnya hati nurani dalam menjaga toleransi, Islam adalah agama yang benar, tidak berburuk sangka terhadap agama selain Islam, berdakwah merupakan suatu kewajiban dan umat Islam mengemban amanah yang besar. Kemudian dalam video tiktok Husain Basyaiban, peneliti juga menemukan makna denotasi, konotasi dan mitos dari video tersebut. Dengan makna yang didapat tersebut, studi ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya diseminasi konten dakwah melalui media sosial. Media sosial seperti TikTok dapat menampilkan konten moral singkat tetapi dengan makna yang mendalam.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various economic sectors in Indonesia, including the education system. Consequently, the educational landscape has undergone substantial changes, such as the shift from traditional classroom instruction to online learning. All students, regardless of their academic or non-academic backgrounds, have benefited from this transition in numerous ways. We are interested in identifying the most crucial factors that determine long-term learning outcomes and how academic and non-academic factors influence students' academic performance. The study will be conducted in October 2022 at SMK Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, and 529 out of 1400 participants will be randomly selected. We will use a Google Form with 22 questions to collect quantitative data.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lifestyle, brand awareness, and The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of lifestyle, brand awareness, and product quality on consumer repurchase intentions for bottled water products with the Le Minerale brand, and to evaluate the quality of experience as a moderating variable used to weaken or strengthen it. The research method used is a quantitative method in which the object of this research is the people who consume Le Minerale brand mineral water products in the Bekasi Regency area. The size of the respondents taken was purposive sampling, so conditionally it indicated that the required respondent is 70 samples. The data collected was processed using a linear regression test technique, namely the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The conclusions resulting from this study: 1) Le Minerale brand mineral water customers who make purchases feel in accordance with the behavior and a healthy consumptive lifestyle so that they can encourage consumers to do repurchase intention 2) Brand awareness can encourage customer repurchase intentions, because the deeper the customer recognizing Le Minerale Brand Minerale brand mineral waterproducts, the higher the motivation for consumer interest to carry out repurchase intention activities 3) Le Minerale brand mineral water products are guaranteed benefits and freshness, to encourage customer interest to do repurchase intentions 4) Experience quality has role as a predictor moderating variable, so that it cannot moderate lifestyle towards repurchase intention of Le Minerale branded mineral water 5) Quality of experience is able to moderate brand awareness towards repurchase intention of Le Minerale branded drinking water products 6) Quality of experience has a role as a moderating predictor, so the impact on product quality towards repurchase intention cannot be considered.
