This study started with the issue of the first-grade kids at Sugihwaras Elementary School having low beginning reading abilities. To determine the level of influence produced, a global-assisted approach with flashcard media is used in Indonesian language subjects. The experimental quantitative methodology and Nonequivalent Control Group Design were employed as the research method. Class IA 30 experimental students and class IB 30 control students were chosen using the Purposive Sampling Technique. The instrument consists of an oral test sheet in the form of a pretest-posttest for beginning reading and a student activity sheet. The posttest average score of 73.6 exceeds the pretest score of 54.6, showing that the experimental group has improved. The pretest score for the control group was 52.1, while the posttest score was 56.8. The Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 is demonstrated by the t-test findings. An average of 84% of the students in the experimental class were engaged in positive activities. The findings show that the global method, aided by flashcard media, influences the beginning reading skills of grade I pupils at Sugihwaras Elementary School.

This research was motivated by developing picture story learning media to increase reading interest for class III students at SDN Pilang 1, in learning the Sub-theme of Development of Food Production Technology. The problem students found when researchers conducted observations was that most of the collection of reading books as a learning resource still only contained reading texts, with a lack of pictures containing the content of the reading. This causes students' interest in reading to decrease because books do not contain pictures and material that supports the reading content. Each individual student's interest in reading is different, researchers found that students will read books if they have an interest in reading. The aim of this research is to make class III students at SDN Pilang 1 interested in reading. Research and Development (R&D) is the method that will be used in this research. In this research, the subjects used were class III elementary school students, totaling 18 students. Data were collected using student reading interest observation sheets. And material expert validation sheets and media expert validation results. From the material expert validation results assessed by the validator lecturer, it is known that the average validation result is 4.4 with a percentage of 82.6%, while the media expert validation results assessed by the validator lecturer, it is known that the average validation result is 4.1 with a percentage of 82%. % included in the eligible category. And the results of observations on students' reading interest, the researcher distributed questionnaires to class III students, the results of the questionnaire after using picture story media were with a reading interest mean percentage of 80,5% with good criteria.

This research was motivated by developing pop up book learning media to improve the learning outcomes of class II students at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo in Pancasila education learning. The aim of this research is to find out whether the Pop Up Book media is suitable for use with second grade elementary school students and to find out the learning outcomes of second grade elementary school students after using pop up book media. This research uses the Research and development (R&D) development method which uses 7 procedures, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product testing, design revision. This research was conducted at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo which consisted of 19 samples. The results of media validation produced 81% data categorized as "Feasible and Quite Effective", and the results of material validation produced 9.7% data or categorized as "Appropriate" for use. The results, students in the class at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo produced effective learning results, namely 60.52 in the pretest and 86.84 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 84.18. The results of the research are that the pop up book media is very suitable for use and improves learning outcomes for students II at SDN Sidokepung 1 Sidoarjo.

This research is based on the background of a paradigm shift in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum assessment. Assessment that is relevant to the preparation of the 2013 curriculum is authentic assessment. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum authentic assessment on cognitive aspects as well as the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum authentic assessment in elementary schools. This research used qualitative method. The subjects of this research were grade III and grade VI teachers at SDN Mojorangagung. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The research results obtained show that teachers have carried out authentic assessment on cognitive aspects. The assessment process is carried out through four main stages consisting of assessment planning, carrying out assessment activities, analysing assessment results and follow-up, and reporting assessments. However, in its implementation there are inhibiting factors. Internal factors are class and time management and some students who are less cooperative in the implementation of the assessment. While external factors include never having participated in training, many assessment indicators that require a lot of time, inadequate facilities and infrastructure.

The implementation of learning in schools, especially reading, cannot be separated from learning media. This research was motivated by developing Smart Reading With Scrapbook media to train the reading skills of grade 1 students at SDN Sawocangkring. The aim of this research is to determine students' reading skills after using Smart Reading With Scrapbook media. The research and development method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method, which is research oriented referring to the Borg and Gall model in development and is used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product. The results of developing the feasibility of the Smart Reading With Scrapbook media based on the media expert's assessment received a score of 86% including the criteria "Appropriate, no need for revision". The material expert's assessment received a score of 85%, including the category "Decent, no need for revision". The final result or average student reading obtained before using the media (pre-test) was 64, while the average score obtained after using the media (post-test) was 92 so that the Ngain score calculation obtained a result of 0.8 in the "High" category. so it is stated in the "Effective" criteria.

The low level of writing skills in the four grade of SDN sambibuluh, Taman Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency is the background of this research. Description is one type of essay that students must master, especially in Indonesian language subject. However, there are still many students have minimum skill on it. This problem can be known from daily score, they have under minimum score in writing descriptions in Indonesian language subjects which is under 70. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the demonstration method on descriptive writing skills for Indonesian language learning in grade IV elementary school students and to determine student's responses after using the demonstration method on descriptive writing skills. This research is quantitative research using Pre-Experiment method with One Short Case Study Design. This research was conducted in class IV of SDN Sambibuluh, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The sample for this research was 25 experimental class students consisting of 10 male and 15 female. This research uses SPSS calculations to obtain results. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that the asymp sig (2-tailed) value was 0.003 < 0.05. According to the basis for decision making in the Wilcoxon test, this means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using the demonstration method on the ability to write descriptions in grade IV elementary school students. Class IV students' responses to the use of the demonstration method received good criteria with a presentation of 80%.

Education must be packaged creatively and innovatively following current developments. One learning media that has interesting results for researchers is Flashcards. This research aims to determine the effect of Flashcard learning media on reading ability at the beginning of 1st grade of elementary school. This type of research is experimental research using a pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were 1st grade students at Antawirya islamic Javanesse School. Learning outcomes are the results achieved by students in an effort to master learning at school. It is hoped that with Flashcard media students can easily understand the learning material in chapter V. This research was conducted on 1st grade students at Antawirya islamic Javanesse School. By involving group A, 23 children as the experimental class and group B, 23 children as the control class. From the results of the trial, students in class 1st grade of Antawirya islamic Javanesse School produced effective learning results, namely 72.5 in the pretest and 81.9 in the posttest. The research results of Flashcard media are suitable for use and improve learning and improve reading ability and student response questionnaire results with an average value of 76% or the flashcard media is categorized as good outcomes for grade 1 students at Antawirya islamic Javanesse School .

This study aims to determine the effect of the PBL (Problem – Based Learning) learning model on Grade 4 elementary school Mathematics learning outcomes and student responses after using the PBL learning model. This type of research is experimental research using a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was 60 grade 4 students of SDN Sugihwaras who were divided into two groups, namely group A as the control class and group B as the experimental class, each consisting of 30 students. The result showed that the average pretest and posttest score of the control class were 61,08 and 65, while those of the experimental class were 72,5 and 82,9. The learning outcomes test shows t-count 5,55 > t-critical 2,001, indicating that the application of the PBL learning model has a significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of grade 4 students’ mathematics, and therefore, Ho can be rejected. The results of student responses provide an assessment with an average value of 77,6%, so the PBL learning model is categorized as good.

This research was motivated by an evaluation of the improvement in descriptive writing skills of fourth grade students at Katerungan Krian Elementary School using the Mind Mapping model. This research was conducted to improve the descriptive writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students and evaluate student responses after using the Mind Mapping model to learn descriptive writing skills. This research uses quantitative research methods such as quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Design). The data collection method uses the Student Learning Outcomes Test to measure students' ability to write descriptions. And a questionnaire on student responses to the mind mapping model for descriptive writing skills. Analysis of research results shows that test scores related to student learning outcomes in the experimental class ranged from 70 to 93, with a pretest average of 82.9. Meanwhile, the control class had scores ranging from 67 to 90 with a pretest average of 76.45. The results of the questionnaire showed that students gave an average rating of 88% to the Mind Mapping model which was considered very good.

Anything that can be used to communicate messages or information during the teaching and learning process is called learning media. Teaching math, especially on fraction material, will be easier if you use learning media. The learning methods used by teachers are still in the form of lectures and assignments, so that students still do not understand fraction material. Based on this, the researcher thought it was necessary to use Fraction Math learning media in order to determine the students' response to the media, and to find out the difference in pretest and posttest results. The author uses research and development (R&D) as a research methodology. This research and development approach is based on the Borg and Gall development model, which was altered from Sugiyono The research was conducted on fifth grade stundents of SDN Gempolsari Tanggulangin with a total of 33 students. The results showed 84.8% of students understood the fraction material better after using Fraction Math media, it’s indicating that Fraction Math media is suitable for use. Class V students of SDN Gempolsari Tanggulangin showes a positive respones to the use of Fraction Math media and this media was provend to be able to improve learning outcomes achieved with a satisfaction score of 88.60 (strongly agree).
