Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on consumer loyalty in the manufacturing sector. In an era of increasingly intense business competition, companies are not only expected to produce high-quality products but also to demonstrate social responsibility toward the community and the environment. CSR has emerged as a key strategy for building a positive corporate image and fostering long-term relationships with consumers. This research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to consumers of selected manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique used is linear regression to examine the relationship between CSR and consumer loyalty. The findings reveal that the environmental and social dimensions of CSR have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. In contrast, the economic responsibility dimension does not show a positive and significant influence on loyalty. These results suggest that effective implementation of CSR programs can enhance consumer trust and attachment to the brand, thereby strengthening their loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically analyze the factors that influence capital structure include profitability proxied by return on assets/ROA, asset structure, liquidity as proxied by current ratio/CR, and company size in coal mining subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 to 2018. The research sample was taken using the purposive sampling method, so that 10 companies were selected that met the specified criteria. The data analysis applied was panel data regression, with the selected model being the Random Effect Model. From the regression results, the Adjusted R-square (R²) value reached 0.434760, which means that the independent variables were able to explain 43.47% of the variation in the dependent variable, while the rest, which was 56.53%, was explained by other factors outside the study. The F test also showed a value of 0.00000, smaller than the significance level of α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that simultaneously the independent variables have a significant effect on capital structure. Meanwhile from the results of partial testing, the liquidity variable was proven to have a significant negative influence on capital structure, while profitability, asset structure, and company size do not have a significant impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the capital structure of coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2014–2018 period. The independent variables studied include profitability, asset structure, liquidity, and company size, while the dependent variable is capital structure, proxied by the debt-to-equity ratio (DER). The research method uses panel data regression analysis with a random effects model selected based on model feasibility testing. The data used are secondary data from the companies' annual financial reports. The results of the study indicate that profitability and asset structure do not significantly influence capital structure. Conversely, liquidity has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, meaning that the higher a company's liquidity level, the lower its debt usage. Firm size does not significantly influence capital structure. Overall, the independent variables in this study explain 43.47% of the variation in capital structure, while the remaining 56.53% is influenced by factors outside the research model. These findings imply that coal companies tend to prioritize internal funding over external funding, in accordance with the Pecking Order Theory. Financial managers need to consider liquidity factors when determining capital structure policies to maintain efficiency and ensure business continuity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs and opportunities for implementing Community Learning Centers (CLCs) to support the development of community education in South Papua. The existence of CLCs in the region remains limited, despite their crucial role as non-formal learning institutions that can reach communities with diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. This research employs a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. Informants include community leaders, educators, government officials, and residents who are the target of community education programs. The findings reveal a significant need for CLC implementation, particularly in literacy eradication, vocational skills improvement, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship development. Furthermore, there are substantial opportunities to establish and expand CLCs through local government support, collaboration with higher education institutions, and partnerships with community organizations. The study concludes that CLCs are an effective strategy to expand access to non-formal education, strengthen community empowerment, and contribute to sustainable development in South Papua.

Abstract

The waste problem in Makassar City is increasingly complex, especially due to the increasing volume of waste that accumulates at the Antang Final Disposal Site (TPA). This condition requires a more effective waste management strategy, one of which is through optimizing the role of the Waste Bank. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) of the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank as one of the best waste banks in Makassar City. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank has strengths in the form of adequate facilities and continuous collaboration with private parties such as Pegadaian, while the weakness lies in the decline in the support of the village government. The opportunities are obtained from the support of the Environment Agency and increasing public awareness of waste management, while the threat comes from the increasing volume of waste and the lack of active participation of some residents. This research emphasizes that multistakeholder synergy is the key in strengthening the role of Waste Banks as an alternative solution in reducing the burden of waste at the Antang Landfill.
