Abstract

A safe and comfortable school is a school that is able to foster students' intrinsic motivation through a positive culture, namely by meeting the basic needs of students as the basis for determining an appropriate learning model to get learning outcomes that meet the KKM. This study aims to determine the impact of the analysis of students' basic needs on the achievement of learning outcomes, especially in chemistry subjects at SMA Islam NU Pujon. The sample of the basic needs analysis research is 398 students of NU Pujon Islamic High School for the 2024/2025 school year and the research sample for student learning outcomes for chemistry subjects is classes XI-4 and XII-2 with a mixed method explanatory design research method. The results of the study were obtained that the results of the analysis of the basic needs of NU Pujon Islamic High School students for the 2024/2025 school year with the need for pleasure 25.7%, the need for affection and acceptance 25.4%, the need for freedom 23.5%, and the need for power 25.4%. The average student learning outcomes for chemistry subjects were obtained in class Xl-4 of 77.9 and XII-2 of 79.22. The findings showed that the learning outcomes of students for Chemistry in the two classes were above the school KKM

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan fokus pada penerapan Augmented reality (AR) dalam pengajaran geometri di sekolah dasar. Dengan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini akan mengevaluasi bagaimana AR dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep geometri. Selain itu, penelitian ini akan mencakup analisis terhadap perubahan dalam prestasi belajar siswa dan bagaimana pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dapat memengaruhi pemahaman mereka terhadap geometri. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat tahapan dalam mendeskripsikan sebuah data yaitu mengumpulkan artikel penelitian, buku, jurnal ataupun literature lain yang berhubungan dengan AR. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu : 1) hasil penelitain menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembalajaran berbasis AR dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan; 2). AR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan memberikan ruang imajinasi kepada siswa; 3). Terdapat tantangan dalam menerapkan AR, diantaranya kebutuhan sumber daya, pelatihan guru dan integrase ke kurikulum yang ada. Solusinya memberikan pelatihan bagi guru, infrastruktur teknologi ditingkatkan, dan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk media pembelajaran AR khusus pembelajaran matematika. 4). AR mempunyai potensi besar untuk mengubah lanskap pendidikan matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the validity of the integrated natural science student book that carries the theme sense of sight and optical devices using connected model integrated 21st century learning, and implemented in Junior High Schools in Kerinci Regency. The research approach used is the Research and Development (R&D) method, referring to the Plomp development model. The instrument used in this study was a validation questionnaire, which had previously gone through a validation process by five experts (validators). The data collection technique was carried out by distributing the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively through assessment and percentage. The results of the validation analysis of the integrated science student book with the theme sense of sight and optical devices using connected model integrated 21st century learning had an average value of 0.89, this indicates that the book developed is valid and can be used or tested in the learning process

Abstract

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) merupakan generasi ke tiga dari sel surya yang memanfaatkan dye dari bahan alam. DSSC menggunakan dye alam untuk menyerap cahaya matahari dan diubah menjadi energi listrik secara langsung. Perubahan energi matahari menjadi energi listrik akan menjawab tantangan dunia dalam keterbatasan energi fosil. Dye yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dye Moringa oleifera. Karakterisasi optik dari dye Moringa oleifera diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-VIS dan diperoleh hasil terdapat tiga puncak penyerapan yaitu pada 334 nm, 412 nm, dan 665 nm. Uji konduktivitas menunjukkan dye Moringa oleifera memiliki nilai 0,49 x 10-3 Ω-1m-1 yang berarti memiliki kemampuan menghantarkan listrik dengan baik. Hasil uji FTIR dye Moringa oleifera diperoleh ada gugus fungsi O-H, C-H, CC, C=O dan C-O. Karakterisasi DSSC menggunakan dye Moringa oleifera diperoleh efisiensi sebesar 0,50 x 10-1%. Hasil kerakterisasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dye Moringa oleifera tepat untuk dijadikan sentitiser dalam DSSC karena memberikan performa yang baik.

Abstract

The waste problem in Makassar City is increasingly complex, especially due to the increasing volume of waste that accumulates at the Antang Final Disposal Site (TPA). This condition requires a more effective waste management strategy, one of which is through optimizing the role of the Waste Bank. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) of the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank as one of the best waste banks in Makassar City. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank has strengths in the form of adequate facilities and continuous collaboration with private parties such as Pegadaian, while the weakness lies in the decline in the support of the village government. The opportunities are obtained from the support of the Environment Agency and increasing public awareness of waste management, while the threat comes from the increasing volume of waste and the lack of active participation of some residents. This research emphasizes that multistakeholder synergy is the key in strengthening the role of Waste Banks as an alternative solution in reducing the burden of waste at the Antang Landfill.

Abstract

Science education at the elementary school level is essential for fostering scientific thinking patterns and developing 21st-century skills, including science process skills (SPS). However, prior studies indicate that students’ SPS particularly in Muara Bulian District, Jambi remain at a low level due to the predominant use of lecture-based methods and the limited opportunities for scientific exploration. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on the local environment in improving the SPS of fifth-grade students at SDN 34/1 Teratai, Muara Bulian. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pretest-posttest control group. The results show a significant improvement in the experimental group’s average SPS scores, increasing from 62.40 to 85.70 with a gain score of 0.63 (moderate category). Meanwhile, the control group’s scores increased from 61.80 to 73.40 with a gain score of 0.38 (low category). The enhancement was observed across all SPS indicators, including observing, classifying, interpreting, designing experiments, and communicating. These findings suggest that the environment-based PjBL model is effective in enhancing students’ SPS and contributes to a more contextual, active, and meaningful science learning experience. Therefore, this model can serve as an alternative strategy to improve the quality of physics and science education at the elementary level.

Abstract

The evolving demands of the 21st century have compelled higher education institutions to redesign curricula that transcend disciplinary boundaries and cultivate creativity as a core graduate competency. Traditional mono-disciplinary programs often fail to equip students with the integrative thinking necessary for addressing complex, real-world problems. This study investigates curriculum innovations through interdisciplinary programs aimed at fostering creativity in higher education. The research seeks to identify how cross-disciplinary learning structures, collaborative projects, and flexible pedagogical designs contribute to the development of creative and adaptive learners. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving document analysis, semi-structured interviews with faculty and students, and observation of interdisciplinary coursework across three universities. Findings reveal that interdisciplinary programs significantly enhance creative capacity by encouraging cognitive flexibility, collaborative problem-solving, and synthesis of diverse perspectives. Students reported heightened engagement and intrinsic motivation when exposed to integrated learning environments that connected theory and practice. The study concludes that curriculum innovation through interdisciplinary design is a powerful strategy for embedding creativity into higher education, though successful implementation requires institutional support, teacher training, and assessment reform aligned with creative learning outcomes.
