Abstract

This study analyzes the mechanical performance of femoral bone implants using two types of materials, namely Alloys and Cobalt Chromium Alloys, as well as two variations in implant length (72 mm and 24 mm, and 80 mm and 20 mm). Simulation was conducted using the Finite Element Method (FEM) to evaluate mechanical parameters, such as directional deformation, equivalent stress, maximum principal stress, and minimum principal elastic strain. The analysis results show that the Cobalt Chromium Alloys material has smaller deformation compared to the Alloys, indicating better stiffness and load-bearing capacity. However, the maximum principal stress value is higher in Cobalt Chromium Alloys, indicating a greater risk of stress concentration. Meanwhile, a longer implant length shows a more even stress distribution compared to a shorter length. This study provides important insights into the influence of material and implant length on its mechanical performance, and can serve as a basis for designing optimal implants for specific medical needs

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan (1) Mengetahui bentuk bahasa tabu yang digunakan oleh siswa-siswi panti asuhan Al-Mizan; (2) Upaya pencegahan penggunaan bahasa tabu siswa-siswi panti asuhan Al-Mizan; dan (3) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa-siswi di Panti Asuhan Al-Mizan menggunakan bahasa tabu. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, metode ini yaitu wawacara tidak langsung menggunakan google form dengan tahapan-tahapan mengumpulkan data, menyeleksi data, mendeskripsikan keseluruhan data, dan menganalisis data yang ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu  (1) Bentuk bahasa tabu yang digunakan oleh siswa-siswi panti asuhan Al-Mizan meliputi beberapa penggolongan jenis-jenis Bahasa tabu atau pisuhan yaitu nama binatang, kata-kata vulgar untuk cabul yang berkaitan dengan anggota tubuh, kelemahan seseorang, hujatan agar celaka, dan berbuat keji; (2) Upaya pencegahan penggunaan bahasa tabu siswa-siswi panti asuhan Al-Mizan adalah memberikan contoh yang baik, memberikan pemahaman mengenai kata-kata yang baik dan benar, memberikan penghargaan dan pujian, memberikan alternatif kata-kata yang lebih sopan, dan menjaga lingkungan yang sehat; dan (3) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa-siswi di Panti Asuhan Al-Mizan menggunakan bahasa tabu adalah pengaruh lingkungan sekitar, kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua, rasa ingin mencoba, dan dorongan untuk mencari perhatian. Abstract

This research aims to design and test the effectiveness of the Foot Reflection-Relaxation Stimulator (FRRS), which combines electrical and magnetic stimulation as a reflexology therapy method to reduce pain caused by fatigue. FRRS is designed to stimulate reflex points in the feet by applying principles of physics such as static magnetic fields and Lorentz force, which are expected to enhance blood circulation and relax tense muscles. The testing was conducted on 25 healthy male participants who experienced leg fatigue after traveling a distance of 20 km. Pain levels were measured using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) before and after treatment with FRRS. The results showed a significant decrease in pain scale, from an average of 7 before treatment to 3.12 after treatment. The use of FRRS has proven effective in reducing pain due to fatigue in the legs, which is believed to be due to increased blood circulation and muscle relaxation. Thus, FRRS can be a practical and efficient solution to improve the quality of life for individuals who often experience fatigue and pain in their legs.
