Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, the learning system at all levels of education in Indonesia has shifted from a face-to-face system to an online system. Various problems arise from this system change, ranging from uneven ownership of facilities, difficulty in accessing the internet, boring learning models, and even difficulties in understanding the material. This is what underlies learning that must be done in a hybrid way, especially in economics learning. This is because Economics learning is related to how to fulfill individual and group economic needs. In Economic Education it is also necessary to inculcate the values of Pancasila, because the values of Pancasila will provide a strong ideological foundation in carrying out wise economic activities. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of Hybrid learning in SMA Negeri 1 Pare in Economics by instilling the values of Pancasila. This research is a qualitative research. Informants in this study were Economics Teachers and Students at SMAN 1 Pare. Data collection was obtained through field surveys, observations, in-depth interviews with related parties. The results of the study show that in order to minimize problems with the offline system, SMA Negeri 1 Pare implements Hybrid Economics learning. During limited face-to-face learning (PTMT), educators are emphasized to choose interesting Economics learning materials and media to increase students' interest in learning. Various adjustments to the material and lesson plans were made to make it easier for students to understand the material. In addition, the inculcation of Pancasila values in Economics learning is also carried out through 1) Integration of Economic materials with Economic values; 2) Giving examples in everyday life that are of value to Panasila; 3) Giving assignments with the value of Pancasila; 4) Embedding illustrations containing Pancasila values through Economics learning materials and media. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v15i12022p074

Abstract

enthusiastic in expressing ideas in developing ICT-based learning media. The solution given to overcome this is by applying Lesson Study activities in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of creative thinking students majoring in development economics in developing ICT-based learning media through the action of lesson study. This research was conducted by the team of lesson study team which consisted of four lecturers who acted as model and observer lecturers, followed by 25 students majoring in development economics who took the course of learning media development. This research took place in three class action cycles. The first cycle uses mind mapping based learning, the second cycle uses group discussion based learning, and the third use individual based learning. Instruments used in the form of observation sheet given at each learning cycle. The result of this research is the application of several strategies in learning, development of several learning instruments to assess the dependent variable. Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial management of education funds carried out by chicken farm workers. The data in this study were collected using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the financial management of children's education funds carried out by livestock workers was classified as poor. This is due to a lack of basic knowledge about finance, which is still classified as non literate. So that long-term needs such as children's education are not planned properly, the financing of children's education is carried out spontaneously without being prepared in advance. Most of the income they earn is allocated for daily consumption needs, so they do not plan for children's education savings. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p152

Abstract

This study aims to determine the parenting pattern of career housewives in the application of economic education values to children in the family environment. This study uses a qualitative approach using a phenomenological type of research. The subject of this research is a career housewife who works at PT. Gudang Garam Tbk who has children who live in RT 04 RW 16 Dusun Tepus, Sukorejo Village, Ngasem District, Kediri Regency because researchers know that in that area the majority of mothers work as employees of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. Based on the results of interviews conducted on career housewives who have children, it is known that career housewives apply democratic parenting in the application of educational values to children, democratic parenting is very suitable to be applied by career housewives because this parenting provides more discussion approach, listening to children's complaints, providing feedback, good communication and not being rigid in applying educational values to children, so that children can have effective and efficient economic characteristics.DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v15i12022p022

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of financial attitudes and self-control on financial management of undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang  Class 2018. The type of research used is quantitative explanatory. The sample used was 100 of 133 undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang obtained through the slovin formula. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS 25.00 for windows. Based on the analysis of the results as follows: 1) financial attitudes have a partial effect on the financial management of S1 students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang  , Class of 2018, 2) self-control partially affects the financial management of students of Economics, Universitas Negeri Malang, Class of 2018, 3) Financial attitudes and self-control simultaneously affect the financial management of undergraduate students of Economics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang Class of 2018

Abstract

Increasing the quality of education has been a global challenge. The Indonesian government has responded this issue by reforming new curriculum that focuses on students’ activities and critical thinking ability. This study aims at investigating the implementation of synchronous learning with STEM and its impact to students’ critical thinking ability. This research adopted mixed methods, quasi-experimentally by using non-equivalent control group design research to gain a deeper understanding during experiment. The result of this work notes that synchronous learning with STEM slightly out performs the conventional learning activities and it can moderately illustrate the enhancing of students’ critical thinking skills. The introduction of STEM in social sciences, primarily in an economics course, faces some challenges and adjustments as well as its implementation using live synchronous learning This result suggests to more comprehensive planning and materials in adopting STEM in social sciences as well as an effort to increase students’ activities.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, STEM Education, Economics Students, Synchronous Learning

Abstract

Schemes in the management of agricultural land are very diverse, ranging from self-management and cooperation through mukhabarah, muzara'ah contracts to rental systems. This paper aims to precisely determine the scheme of cooperation in the management of agricultural land in Tumpang District. The most frequently used of the several land management cooperation schemes is mukhabarah, which benefits both landowners and smallholders. The approach used is qualitative, with a case study method. The population in this study were all agricultural landowners in Tumpang District, and the sample used was landowners who used the mukhabarah scheme. Then, the instrument in this study was in-depth interviews conducted on smallholders and landowners. This study indicates that the mukhabarah scheme provides higher income to landowners compared to the rental system. Meanwhile, from the side of smallholders, the mukhabarah scheme provides and opens job opportunities and increases income from land management. Another trivial thing but becomes an important point is that landowners and sharecroppers can still share agricultural products with residents/neighbors through this scheme.

Abstract

Sovereign Sukuk has become a promising instrument for a country to overcome difficulties in financing government projects. Sukuk is a financial instrument for the Islamic capital market with a low level of risk. Green sukuk becomes popular since most of the conventional investment activities ignore the environment aspect. Starting in 2018, Indonesian government has developed a green sukuk scheme as a financing instrument for environmentally friendly projects to reduce the impact of global climate change. This study aims to analyze the role and challenges of green sukuk for climate change resilience in highly vulnerable areas during the Covid-19 crisis. This study is conducted through a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collections are carried out through literature studies and case studies on some climate projects in highly vulnerable areas in Indonesia. The results show that during the Covid-19 pandemic, green sukuk has contributed an important impact for climate change resilience in highly vulnerable areas. There are some challenges in the development of green sukuk. The lack of awareness of social risks as well as environmental risks have become main challenges. In the future, the decision policy makers should provide greater incentives and a more inclusive legal umbrella for green financing schemes.

Abstract

Problems that occur in clay craftsmen in Plancungan Village, Ngloning Village and Gombang Village, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency include lack of capital, lack of marketing networks and low product innovation, and lack of regeneration in this business. So as to overcome these problems is done by providing training and the formation of pre-cooperatives for the craftsmen. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of human resources and promote the existence of earthenware vessels. Community service activities are carried out by forming a pre-cooperative community in order to facilitate the availability of capital for craftsmen. In addition, there will also be some marketing training and training to increase product innovation so that it has added value and innovation that is in line with the needs of the times. Both of these trainings were carried out by marketing practitioners and from the industry department and cooperatives of Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

Nowadays, the problem of teachers in Economics is how a teacher should teach not only cognitive abilities but the ability to apply Economics in daily life. This community service program aims to provide skills for Economics teachers in teaching financial literacy to students. The method of implementation in this activity is training and mentoring in the implementation of financial literacy books. This program is intended for Economics/Accounting teachers at MGMP Malang City. This program was carried out in four stages, namely socialization and discussion, implementation of problem-solving, training and mentoring, and evaluation. The implementation of this life-based “financial literacy” book provides insight to teachers about the implementation of financial literacy and learning innovations that can be applied to Economics learning in schools in the future. This activity is a forum for the development of learning innovations in the Economics/Accounting Subject Teacher Community or Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP).
