AbstractPreparing a regional profile for Semarang City is important because sub-district data are often limited or still based on outdated sources, making them less aligned with current conditions. On the partner side, learning in the Social Sciences stream tends to be theoretical, and the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) has not been optimal for training regional analysis skills. This Community Service program aimed to improve the ability of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang to compile sub-district profiles in a systematic and communicative way through a mind mapping model. The training was conducted in a Social Sciences class and involved 28 students. The implementation methods included coordination with the school, brief instruction on data/information and profile structure, group practice in developing sub-district profile mind maps, as well as presentations and feedback. Evaluation was carried out using pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that students were able to collaboratively produce mind map–based sub-district profile products that were more engaging to read. Quantitatively, the students’ average level of understanding increased from 79% (pre-test) to 96% (post-test). Keywords: sub-district profile; data; information; mind mapping.
