Abstract

Pembelajaran PKn adalah untuk membentuk sikap dan perilaku warga negara yang baik, termasuk di dalamnya kesadaran terhadap hukum dan aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kesadaran hukum siswa ssekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarnegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini, melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu wali kelas dan siswa kelas 5 UPT SD Negeri 060857, Sidorejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran hukum para siswa UPT SD Negeri 060857, Sidorejo terhadap peraturan yang berlaku yang diterapkan di sekolah yang berimplikasi terhadap kehidupan siswa baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa UPT SD Negeri 060857, Sidorejo telah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran hukum siswa melalui berbagai langkah strategis dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn).

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level plays an important role in developing students' logical, critical, and systematic thinking skills. Effective learning media should be able to simplify abstract concepts into more concrete forms, expand material presentation, and overcome space, time, and sensory limitations during the learning process. This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of mathematics learning media used in elementary schools and evaluate its relevance to students' learning needs. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through review of relevant literature sources. The results indicate that appropriate media can increase students' active engagement in mathematics learning and facilitate understanding of abstract concepts. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a reference for developing more innovative and student-centered learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students’ scientific literacy and interest in learning science (IPA) among elementary school students through contextual learning connected to everyday life. Scientific literacy refers to students’ ability to understand scientific concepts and apply them in real-life contexts, enabling them not only to memorize content but also to relate it to their experiences and surrounding situations. The research employed observation, interviews, and questionnaires as data collection instruments. The study subjects were 24 fifth-grade students (Class 5A) from a public elementary school. Interviews were conducted with the homeroom teacher to identify the teaching approaches used, while questionnaires were distributed to students to assess their level of understanding and interest in science learning. By linking science learning to daily life, it is expected that students will gain a more functional understanding of scientific concepts and develop a greater interest in science subjects.
