Abstract

Cancer and stunting are two major health problems in Indonesia, especially in rural areas with limited health access and lack of public knowledge, demanding adequate counselling and education. Thus, the role of students as agents of change is very important to increase community knowledge about stunting prevention and early detection of cancer. Through discussion methods and hands-on examples, the outreach programme in Tetei Lanan Village showed effectiveness in preventing stunting and cervical and breast cancer by improving the community's understanding of nutrition, vaccinations, and routine check-ups. Although faced with constraints such as limited internet access and health services, approaches such as direct counselling and strengthening the role of health cadres have successfully overcome these challenges. Continued support, improved access to healthcare, as well as financial assistance proved essential to achieving optimal results and strengthening awareness and prevention efforts in the community. The service programme in Tetei Lanan Village successfully raised awareness about stunting prevention and cervical and breast cancer through counselling, with a focus on nutritious food and early detection.

Abstract

This study examines the development of Islamic education in Indonesia from the time of the Islamic kingdom, Dutch colonialism, Japanese colonialism, to the Old Order and New Order eras. During the Islamic kingdom, Islamic education developed through traditional institutions such as Islamic boarding schools, which played an important role in the spread of Islamic teachings. This study shows that Islamic education in Indonesia has gone through different stages, from traditional Islamic boarding schools to modern educational institutions, reflecting local conditions and adaptation to global challenges. In addition, this study also discusses organizations, institutions, and figures who have contributed greatly to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia, and reviews the Islamic education system in relation to national education. The results of this study are expected to provide a deep understanding of the dynamics of Islamic education in Indonesia and its contribution to the development of the national education system

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMAN 02 Mukomuko yang ditandai dengan kesulitan dalam mengembangkan ide, memahami struktur, serta menggunakan kaidah kebahasaan secara tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 02 Mukomuko tahun ajaran 2024/2025 berjumlah 186 siswa, dengan sampel kelas X-3 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes unjuk kerja menulis teks eksposisi yang diberikan sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) penerapan model CPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi sebelum penerapan model CPS sebesar 55,90 dengan kualifikasi hampir cukup (HC); (2) nilai rata-rata sesudah penerapan model CPS sebesar 79,05 dengan kualifikasi baik (B); (3) hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 12,7 > ttabel = 1,70 pada taraf signifikansi 95%, sehingga H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran CPS berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMAN 02 Mukomuko.

Abstract

Innovation in processing waste into an sofa. The objectives and benefits of this PKM-K activity are: Generating student motivation to become an entrepreneur in processing plastic bottle waste into ecobrick sofas that are worth selling.  Sofa is a product that is very economically valuable if it can be utilized properly and optimally. This product can add to the aesthetic value of the living room, can be used as decoration and can be used as room accessories. The methods of implementing this program are input, process (production), output, and evaluation. The results of this program are input, conducting market surveys to find out market conditions. Next is a feasibility study of the business to be run. The last stage is the selection of materials and the provision of places as well as facilities and infrastructure to support the production process. Process (production), the process of making sofa starts from the preparation of materials and tools, until the sofa is ready to be marketed. Output, namely sofa crafts that are ready to be used and marketed to consumers. The last is evaluation, that is, this stage is carried out when the production of the sofa has been completed. At this stage, we will review any deficiencies that make consumers uncomfortable using our products. The conclusion of the PKM-K program the innovation of processing waste into Sofa is expected to increase student creativity in processing waste and entrepreneurship with a comprehensive understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship.
