Abstract

Desa Penglipuran, sebuah desa wisata di Bali, menerima penghargaan Sustainable Tourism Award (STA) sebagai desa terbersih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana pertumbuhan multikultural yang didasarkan pada kearifan lokal berkontribusi pada keberhasilan Desa Penglipuran. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara  deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penduduk Desa Penglipuran sangat menyadari pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, sesuatu yang telah diturunkan dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya. Disamping itu, landasan hidup masyarakat adalah filsafat Tri Hita Karana, yang menekankan hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan, antar sesama manusia, dan dengan alam. Pengendalian tempat suci, pelestarian lingkungan, dan tradisi gotong royong adalah beberapa contoh dari kearifan lokal ini. Pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Penglipuran berfokus pada pelestarian budaya dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, Desa Penglipuran dapat menjadi contoh yang baik tentang bagaimana mengembangkan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan dan berdasarkan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study research design, aiming to describe the inclusive education program implemented to support children with special needs in participating in learning activities at SD Negeri Klampok 01. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that SD Negeri Klampok 01 has implemented an inclusive education program through various efforts tailored to the needs of students with special needs. However, the implementation still faces several challenges, such as the absence of special assistant teachers, limited facilities, and the use of a general curriculum that has not been specifically adapted for students with special needs.

Abstract

The promotion of reading interest is one of the key roles of the library as a source and provider of information. This study aims to formulate concrete steps to enhance students’ reading interest through the optimal utilization of elementary school libraries. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving the analysis of various scholarly sources related to literacy, library management, and strategies to increase reading interest at the elementary level. The findings of the study indicate that optimization can be achieved through three main steps: (1) Library revitalization, which includes rearranging the space, providing a diverse and age-appropriate reading collection, and utilizing digital technology; (2) Implementation of literacy programs, such as reading corners, book review competitions, and sustainable group reading activities; and (3) Library staff training, to enable them to become active literacy facilitators who are responsive to students' needs. These three strategies complement each other and can be continuously developed by schools in an effort to establish a strong literacy culture from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Wordwall media on cognitive learning outcomes in elementary school mathematics instruction. The research employed a quantitative approach using a true experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The study involved all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Kalinyamat Kulon 01 and SD Negeri Margadana 04. A saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in a total of 56 students participating in the study—28 students from SD Negeri Kalinyamat Kulon 01 as the experimental group and 28 students from SD Negeri Margadana 04 as the control group. Data collection instruments included multiple-choice questions to assess cognitive learning outcomes, and a self-assessment questionnaire was used to evaluate student engagement. The results showed that the t-test yielded a significance value of 0.012 (p < 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that the use of Wordwall as a learning medium has a significant effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics.
