Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi implementasi multikulturalisme dan kearifan lokal dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia. Melalui metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif naratif, penelitian menganalisis berbagai publikasi akademik dari tahun 2020-2024 untuk memahami kompleksitas pengintegrasian keberagaman kultural dalam konteks pendidikan. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada identifikasi model-model integratif yang dapat mengonstruksi pengalaman pendidikan multikultural yang bermakna, kontekstual, dan transformatif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan empat domain utama hambatan implementasi: kelembagaan, psikologis, kebijakan, dan metodologis. Temuan kunci menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan rekonstruksi sistemik paradigma pendidikan, pengembangan kompetensi antarbudaya pendidik, dan penciptaan ruang dialogis yang menghargai keberagaman. Penelitian menawarkan model pengembangan kompetensi antarbudaya yang mencakup kesadaran kritis, empati dialogis, keterampilan reflektif, dan adaptasi kultural. Kontribusi penelitian terletak pada pemetaan strategi transformatif untuk mengimplementasikan multikulturalisme dalam sistem pendidikan yang responsif dan inklusif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas revitalisasi nilai budaya lokal melalui etnopedagogi sebagai strategi inovatif dalam pendidikan multikultural. Dalam era globalisasi, nilai-nilai budaya lokal cenderung tergerus oleh arus modernisasi, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang dapat mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam proses pendidikan. Etnopedagogi menjadi solusi strategis dalam membangun kesadaran multikultural sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan etnopedagogi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya serta memperkuat nilai-nilai lokal dalam pendidikan multikultural. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di sekolah menengah atas yang menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi etnopedagogi dalam pendidikan multikultural mampu meningkatkan apresiasi siswa terhadap budaya lokal, memperkuat sikap toleransi, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam pelestarian budaya. Dengan demikian, etnopedagogi dapat menjadi strategi inovatif yang tidak hanya menjaga warisan budaya, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran multikultural yang lebih inklusif. Temuan ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis budaya lokal sebagai upaya sistematis dalam pendidikan multikultural di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the forms of local wisdom preserved by the indigenous community of Kampung Pulo in Garut Regency, West Java, and examine their role in maintaining cultural continuity and communal identity. Kampung Pulo is known as one of the traditional Sundanese villages that firmly uphold ancestral values amidst the pressures of modernization. Using a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the community's local wisdom is reflected in spatial arrangements, traditional ceremonies, social norms, and belief systems that are inherited across generations. Moreover, these traditions contribute to environmental conservation, social cohesion, and the transmission of values to younger generations. This study underscores the importance of preserving local wisdom as a cultural stronghold that holds not only historical value but also relevance for sustainable development and the reinforcement of local identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of the Student Forum for Law and Human Rights Awareness (FPSH-HAM) as a strategic platform in fostering integrity-based leadership character at SMAN 1 Batujajar. The research is motivated by growing concerns over the decline in legal awareness and moral degradation among youth, which often leads to deviant behaviors. FPSH-HAM serves as a non-formal educational initiative that integrates the values of law, human rights, and leadership integrity. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results reveal that active student participation, support from school stakeholders, and ongoing leadership development programs have significantly contributed to shaping responsible, disciplined, and law-conscious student leaders. FPSH-HAM has proven to be effective in internalizing character values and encouraging students to become change agents in their schools and communities. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening youth organizations rooted in law and human rights education as a foundation for building an excellent future generation.

Abstract

This study discusses the efforts to preserve local wisdom implemented by the Naga Traditional Village community in facing the challenges of globalization, especially through the decision to reject the use of electricity as a form of preserving cultural values and a simple lifestyle. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, obtained through direct interviews and field observations. The results of the study reveal that the Naga Village community does not close itself off from technological advances, but chooses to respond selectively to remain in line with customary norms. Efforts to preserve culture are carried out through the process of passing on values between generations, the central role of customary figures, and restrictions on the use of technology to maintain balance with the environment. These results indicate that the preservation of local culture can be carried out side by side with modernization as long as it maintains existing cultural principles.
