Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedan yang signifikan hasil belajar kimia siswa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi Persamaan Reaksi di SMA Negeri 1 Kotanopan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri I Kotanopan tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen I (TGT) sebanyak 30 siswa dan kelas eksperimen II (STAD) sebanyak 33 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pilihan berganda yang sebelumnya telah diuji cobakan. Hasil uji coba 40 soal diperoleh 20 soal yang valid dan reliabilitas tes sebesar 0,765. Dan dari hasil analisa data diperoleh bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan kedua sampel berasal dari populasi yang homogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor aktifitas siswa pada kelas TGT  dan STAD masing-masing adalah 69,44% 63,88%. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas TGT dan STAD sebesar 70,67 63,49, dengan peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas TGT sebesar 60,8% dan pada kelas STAD sebesar 50,3%. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan uji t dua pihak dengan kriteria terima H0 jika –t ½ α < thitung < t ½  α . dan berdasarkan rata-rata gain pada kelas TGT 0,608 dan STAD 0,503 diperoleh thitung = 3,158 dan ttabel = 1,999 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Karena thitung berada di luar daerah penerimaan H0 maka Ha diterima, artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi Persamaan Reaksi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Work Discipline Training Program (P3K) in the Paluta Education Office environment. The problems studied are 1) How is the level of work discipline of employees in the Paluta Education Office environment? 2) How is the quality of service in the Paluta Education Office? 3) How is the performance of administrative staff in the Paluta Education Office? The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and document study. The results showed that the level of work discipline of employees in the Paluta Education Office still needs to be improved, especially in the aspect of attendance and compliance with regulations. The quality of service in the Paluta Education Office is also not optimal, with public complaints regarding the slow administrative process. The performance of administrative staff still needs to be improved, especially in communication skills and mastery of information technology. This research resulted in the design of a Work Discipline Training Program (P3K) which is expected to improve discipline, service quality, and employee performance in the Paluta Education Office environment.

Abstract

One of the developments in the world of education is using virtual labs as a medium for carrying out practical work. The aim of this research is to determine the application of using interactive virtual lab practicum media based on a STEM approach in increasing students' scientific literacy and learning motivation. The subjects of this research were students in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year who took basic chemistry practical lectures on the topic of reaction rates. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a one group pretest and posttest design. The instruments used in this research were a multiple-choice test to measure scientific literacy and a questionnaire to measure learning motivation. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics including n-gain and percentage calculations. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the increase in students' scientific literacy was 0.46 with moderate criteria. Scientific literacy skills have increased significantly in the aspect of explaining scientific phenomena by 82%. Student learning motivation also increased with an average of 77% before learning to 83% after learning.
