Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Green Intellectual Capital (GIC), leverage ratio (Debt to Asset Ratio - DAR), and earnings quality on the firm value of palm oil plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Furthermore, it investigates the moderating role of firm size in these relationships. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data from publicly listed palm oil companies on the IDX from 2017 to 2024. Data were analyzed using panel data regression analysis with the EViews application to test the direct effects and moderating effects. The results indicate that: (1) GIC has a positive and significant effect on firm value; (2) Leverage ratio (DAR) has a negative and significant effect on firm value; (3) Earnings quality has no significant effect on firm value; (4) Firm size does not directly affect firm value but acts as a significant moderator; (5) Firm size weakens the positive effect of GIC on firm value; (6) Firm size strengthens the negative effect of leverage ratio on firm value, turning it less negative or positive in context; and (7) Firm size does not moderate the relationship between earnings quality and firm value. This study provides novel insights into the dual and contrasting moderating role of firm size in an emerging market context, specifically showing how it dampens the value of sustainability disclosures (GIC) while amplifying the acceptability of financial leverage. Managers should strategically disclose GIC to enhance valuation and adopt prudent leverage policies. For larger firms, it is crucial to communicate their sustainability efforts more effectively to maintain their premium, as investors' higher expectations can diminish the marginal value of these disclosures.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Marketing on the decision to purchase course packages through purchase interest as an intervening variable at LKP Yale Communication. The main focus is to identify how these two digital marketing approaches influence purchasing decisions and the extent to which purchase interest acts as a mediator in the process. Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 185 respondents. The variables studied include SEO, Social Media Marketing, Purchase Interest, and Purchase Decisions. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to measure the relationship between these variables and to see the direct and indirect effects. Results: The results of the analysis show that: SEO has a significant direct effect on Purchase Interest and Purchase Decision.  Social Media Marketing has a significant effect on Purchase Interest, but does not show a direct effect on Purchase Decision. Purchase Intention serves as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between SEO and Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decision. Findings: This study found that: SEO strategies are more effective in directly influencing purchase decisions than Social Media Marketing. Social Media Marketing plays an important role in generating purchase intention, which in turn influences purchase decisions. Purchase intention is a key element in linking the impact of SEO and Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decisions. Novelty: The innovation of this study lies in combining SEO and Social Media Marketing in a single analytical framework that considers the role of purchase intention as an intervening variable. This provides new insights into how both digital marketing strategies can be effectively utilized in the context of non-formal education. Originality: Although many previous studies have explored SEO and Social Media Marketing separately, this study offers a new perspective by combining these two elements and making purchase interest a mediator. This study also enriches the literature in the non-formal education sector, which is often under-researched by academics. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that integrated digital marketing strategies are very important for increasing purchasing decisions in the non-formal education sector. The results of the study emphasize the need for greater attention to SEO as an effective tool to directly influence purchasing decisions, while Social Media Marketing should be seen as a means to develop consumer purchase interest. This study is expected to contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies and serve as a reference for further research in this field. Type of Paper: research article

Abstract

The Success Of Construction Projects Heavily depends on the effective management of resources, including labor, materials, equipment, time, and cost. This study aims to analyze resource management in a warehouse construction project conducted by PT CKS and to identify key factors that influence project performance. A quantitative case study approach is employed, integrating Bayesian Network (BN) to model probabilistic relationships among physical resource variables, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the causal relationships of psychological variables on project performance. Data were collected through questionnaires. The findings reveal that discrepancies in material procurement schedules, limited availability of skilled labor, and delayed decision-making are the main challenges. Meanwhile, motivation and organizational commitment have a significant impact on resource efficiency. The integration of BN and SEM provides a comprehensive perspective on the factors affecting project success and offers strategic recommendations for more optimal resource management. This research contributes both academically and practically to the field of construction project management.
