Abstract

Certified educators play an important role in improving the quality of education because certification shows that a teacher has adequate competence, both in knowledge and teaching skills. Therefore, a budget policy that supports certified teachers is crucial, including a good take home pay and incentive mechanism, so as to support the achievement of teachers' basic needs and improve their work performance. This study then aimed to explore the role of take-home pay and incentives on teacher work performance through their commitment. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach, with the selected sample being Elementary School and Junior High School Teachers in Mojokerto City, Indonesia. The research data were analyzed using path analysis with the help of the SPSS program. From data analysis, it was showed that the relationships between Take Home Pay, Incentives, and Work Commitment towards Teacher Work Achievement, as well as between Take Home Pay and Incentives towards Teacher Work Commitment, all show t-statistics that are well above the critical t-values of 1.98 at the 5% significance level and 2.63 at the 1% significance level. This suggests that both financial incentives (Take Home Pay and Incentives) and non-financial factors (Work Commitment) are important drivers of teacher performance and commitment of certified teacher in Mojokerto City. Overall, these findings reinforce the importance of supporting teachers with both financial and non-financial incentives to enhance their work achievement and commitment.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training activities have a strategic role in encouraging community economic growth, especially in rural areas that have resource potential but have not been optimized to the fullest. This research and community service was carried out in Tedunan Village, Semidang Alas Maras District, Seluma Regency, with the main objective of increasing community knowledge, skills and motivation in the field of entrepreneurship as an effort to drive the local economy. Tedunan Village is one of the villages with abundant natural resources, especially in the agriculture and livestock sectors. However, most of the people still depend on traditional economic patterns with inefficient management. Low access to information, lack of training, and limited capital are the main challenges in developing independent businesses. Therefore, entrepreneurship training is designed as a concrete solution to equip the community with basic skills in managing a business, from planning, production, marketing, to financial management. The methods used in this training include a participatory approach through lectures, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on practice. The training materials included an introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship, identification of local business opportunities, processing agricultural products into high-value products, digital marketing strategies, and small-scale business management. This activity involved various parties, such as the village government, academics, local business actors, and community groups consisting of youth, housewives, and farmers. The results of the training activities showed an increase in the community's understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship and their ability to design and run businesses independently. Some participants even started to initiate small businesses such as local food processing, catfish farming, and handicraft production based on local natural materials. In addition, the training also fostered a collaborative spirit among villagers in forming joint business groups (KUB) as a form of synergy in facing economic challenges.

Abstract

The digital era has driven a significant transformation in brand marketing strategies, with content marketing emerging as a key approach in building brand image. This study aims to analyze the role of content marketing in shaping brand image in the digital age using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, based on the PRISMA 2020 framework. A total of 31 journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were thoroughly reviewed. The findings indicate that content marketing not only directly influences brand perception but also strengthens brand image through the mediating roles of brand awareness, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), and user-generated content (UGC). Content strategies that are emotional, informative, and personalized have been shown to enhance consumer engagement and stimulate purchase intention. This study concludes that the success of content marketing lies in its ability to build a strong brand image through relevant, consistent, and long-term value-driven digital communication.

Abstract

In the past decade, the resurgence of protectionist policies has emerged as a major challenge to the stability of international trade. The trade conflict between the United States and China, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the increasing imposition of tariff and non-tariff barriers have marked a shift from the era of globalization towards a trend of deglobalization. This study aims to systematically examine the impact of protectionism on the dynamics of international trade with a particular focus on three key countries: the United States, China, and Indonesia. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and adheres to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines to ensure that the review process is systematic, transparent, and replicable. Literature was collected from three major academic databases—Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar—using inclusion criteria such as articles published between 2020 and 2025, written in English or Indonesian, and peer reviewed. A content analysis was conducted on 30 selected journal articles to identify patterns, key findings, and policy implications. The analysis reveals that protectionism has significantly affected global supply chains, energy consumption, and macroeconomic stability in various countries. The US–China trade war in particular has created distortions in bilateral trade and triggered policy uncertainty. Meanwhile, Indonesia faces challenges from both external shocks and internal protective measures that influence its export competitiveness. The study recommends the importance of export market diversification, enhancement of value-added exports, and strengthening of multilateral cooperation to mitigate the negative impacts of protectionism and foster a more equitable and sustainable global trading system.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a fundamental component of the national economic framework, particularly in terms of employment generation and regional economic development. Despite their significance, many MSMEs encounter persistent challenges in designing and implementing business models that are both sustainable and responsive to dynamic market conditions. This study aims to systematically analyse the application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) within the context of MSME development and management in Indonesia. Employing a systematic literature review methodology, this research synthesizes findings from 34 peer-reviewed articles and scholarly journals to assess the practical implementation of BMC components—including customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure—within MSME operations. The results demonstrate that the BMC functions as an effective strategic framework, enabling MSMEs to conceptualize and structure adaptive and sustainable business models. Moreover, the adoption of BMC contributes to enhancing MSME competitiveness by fostering a more comprehensive understanding of customer value creation. The study concludes that while the BMC offers substantial benefits in strengthening MSME business practices, its successful implementation necessitates continued support in the form of mentoring and capacity-building initiatives. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers engaged in the formulation of innovative, business model-oriented strategies for MSME development.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate how learning agility and organizational culture affect innovative work behavior among millennial employees, with work engagement serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research design was employed, involving 150 participants selected using a quota sampling method. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The findings revealed that learning agility significantly contributes to innovative work behavior, both directly and indirectly through its influence on work engagement. Conversely, organizational culture does not directly impact innovative behavior, though it does influence employees' engagement at work. Furthermore, the study confirms that work engagement mediates the link between learning agility and innovative behavior, whereas no mediating effect was found between organizational culture and innovative behavior. In summary, these findings suggest that personal attributes, particularly learning capability and engagement level, play a more prominent role in shaping innovative behavior among millennials in the workplace.
