Abstract

This study examines the effects of zakat transparency and government support on community trust and poverty alleviation in West Java. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire employing a Likert scale (1-5). The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that both zakat transparency and government support positively influence community trust, which acts as a mediator between zakat transparency, government support, and poverty alleviation. The findings indicate that when zakat institutions are transparent and the government provides adequate support, community trust is fostered, leading to more effective poverty alleviation efforts. This study underscores the importance of transparency and government involvement in poverty reduction programs, offering valuable implications for policymakers and zakat institutions.

Abstract

This discussion aims to analyze the influence of HDI, unemployment rates, and inflation on poverty in 5 provinces that are categorized as having high poverty rates by using cross section data and time series data for 2012-2023 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The method used is quantitative with a panel data regression analysis approach. The results of this discussion show that percially (t-test) the HDI variable has a significant negative effect while the unemployment rate and inflation variables have no significant effect on poverty in 5 provinces in the highest poverty category. However, simultaneously (test F) the HDI variables, unemployment rate and inflation together have a significant effect on poverty in the 5 provinces that have the highest poverty rate. Therefore, the increase in HDI reduces poverty, so policies must focus on education, health, and welfare. Unemployment and inflation need to be controlled with a comprehensive approach to the effectiveness of poverty alleviation.

Abstract

This study employs a bibliometric analysis to assess the implementation and economic sustainability of circular business models (CBMs) in agriculture. Using data exclusively from the Scopus database, the research analyzes citation trends, key publications, and thematic clusters through VOSviewer. The findings reveal that sustainability and agriculture are central themes, with strong interconnections to economic growth, environmental economics, and technological advancements. The study identifies three major research clusters: sustainability and business models, agriculture and environmental concerns, and food security and supply chain management. Additionally, temporal analysis indicates a shift from environmental sustainability towards integrated economic and technological solutions. While the co-authorship and country collaboration networks highlight expanding international research efforts, fragmentation persists, suggesting a need for stronger interdisciplinary cooperation. The study underscores the importance of circular economy approaches and innovation in fostering sustainable agricultural practices. These insights provide valuable guidance for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in advancing the transition towards sustainable and economically viable agricultural systems.
