Abstract

Abstract: Erratic weather changes cause continuous rain, so clothes that have been washed will take a long time to dry and become damp. The process is carried out in open air and requires quite a large space. The aim of this research is to design an Arduino Uno-based automatic clothes dryer that can dry clothes and determine the dryness level of clothes automatically. The research method used is research and development where the process of developing a clothes dryer system which previously used a heater is now perfected by using a light hair dryer and two fans. The results of testing the tool system begin with the time being set by an Arduino timer and the temperature being set by a humidity sensor. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, capital adequacy and third party funds on problematic financing of production sharing contract products using time series data from January 2015 to December 2021 sourced from the financial services authority (OJK). The research method uses a quantitative approach assisted by the statistical software JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program). The results show that inflation does not have a significant effect, but the capital adequacy variable has a significant negative effect while third party funds have a significant positive effect on problem financing of profit sharing contract products at Islamic banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

Forest honey production in Mataiyang Village, West Sumbawa Regency, plays a crucial role as a primary source of community livelihood but faces challenges related to fluctuating harvests, limited product diversification, and conventional marketing strategies. This Community Partnership Empowerment Program (PKM) aimed to enhance the capacity of the Ai Sanger Farmers Group through training and mentoring in utilizing beeswax as a value-added derivative product and strengthening digital-based marketing strategies. The implementation stages included needs assessment, program socialization, training in processing beeswax into honey soap and aromatherapy candles, and product marketing assistance. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills regarding production techniques and marketing management. Innovative products such as honey soap and aromatherapy candles were successfully produced and marketed through both direct distribution to local retailers and digital platforms, thereby creating opportunities to increase group income. This program demonstrates that the utilization of bee by-products can serve as a sustainable strategy to strengthen the resilience of local honey enterprises and enhance their competitiveness in broader markets.

Abstract

Noise is a sound wave generated from a vibrating sound source that causes discomfort to the listener and has an effect on health. Traffic activity is one of the sources of noise and disturbs the comfort of school children. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the noise potential in elementary schools (SD) on the edge of the Kendari City primary road mathematically, then map the results of noise calculations. The sampling technique was carried out by calculating the volume of traffic vehicles such as motorcycles, light vehicles, and heavy vehicles. Measurements were carried out on Monday-Friday at each point one day, the measurement time was at 08.00 - 09.00 WITA. Travel time is done by recording the time required to pass the road segment. Based on these results that the Predicted Noise Level (PNL) calculation, the highest potential noise level is at SDN 7 Kendari at 67.09 dB(A), SDN 37 Kendari at 66.53 dB(A), SDN 6 Kendari at 65, 05 dB(A), SDN 2 Kendari is 64.84 dB(A), SDN 30 Kendari is 64.53 dB(A), and SDN 28 Kendari is 62.48 dB(A). The presentation of data in the form of spatial/map data is very important because of the large number of research locations, with the presentation of the data in the form of a map, making it easier for researchers to analyze the noise potential by making points, so that they become reference materials for the great potential of PNL in Kendari City.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of sustainability and ethical financing principles in Islamic banking institutions and their implications for financial performance, corporate reputation, and customer trust. Despite increasing global attention to sustainable finance, there remains limited understanding of how Islamic banks adopt and operationalize sustainability practices while addressing challenges such as regulatory constraints, resource limitations, and market competition. Adopting an interpretive paradigm and a case study approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews with institutional managers and staff, complemented by document analysis of sustainability reports and policy guidelines. The results reveal that Islamic banks that actively implement sustainability and ethical financing practices demonstrate improved profitability, enhanced corporate reputation, and greater customer loyalty. Moreover, transparent sustainability reporting and accountability mechanisms strengthen stakeholder trust and align institutional practices with the broader objectives of Islamic finance, such as social justice and environmental stewardship. The findings highlight the importance of developing innovative Sharia-compliant products that integrate sustainability values to attract socially and environmentally conscious customers. From a theoretical perspective, the study contributes to the growing discourse on the intersection between Islamic finance and sustainable development. Practically, it provides implications for policymakers and practitioners to strengthen transparency, accountability, and innovation in Islamic banking operations. Future research is recommended to explore the role of emerging technologies, including fintech and digital platforms, in enhancing sustainability practices within the Islamic banking sector.
