Abstract

Abstract. The research on the analysis of the implementation of biology practicums in high school in the independent curriculum at SMAN 9 Makassar aims to determine the implementation of biology practicums in high school in the independent curriculum in the odd semester at SMAN 9 Makassar. This study uses a descriptive approach with an exploratory research design. Data were collected by filling out checklists, interviews and documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of practicums. The results of the study showed that the percentage of implementation of biology practicums in grade XI at SMAN 9 Makassar referring to Learning Outcomes (CP) in the independent curriculum was 57.1%, which was/is included in the fairly good category. Factors that caused the practicum not to be implemented were the availability of tools and difficulty in obtaining materials, implementation time, availability of space for practicums, the absence of assistants or laboratory assistants to help teachers guide practicums.Key words:  Learning Outcomes, Implementation, Independent Curriculum, Implementation Time

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the trends, technologies, and implications of microlearning in educational contexts through a systematic literature review approach. Data were collected from 197 articles indexed in the Scopus database between 2023 and 2025 and filtered using the PRISMA protocol, resulting in 32 relevant publications. The findings indicate a significant increase in microlearning studies in 2025, with primary concentrations in higher education, healthcare, and vocational training. Microlearning has proven effective in enhancing digital competence, self-efficacy, and learning motivation through the integration of technologies such as video-based instruction, mobile learning, and augmented reality. It also contributes to professional development for educators, language learning, and sustainable digital literacy. This study provides a conceptual foundation for developing adaptive, technology-supported instructional designs and serves as a basis for more inclusive and contextual digital education policies. Ultimately, it contributes by mapping current developments in microlearning, identifying strategic research gaps, and offering evidence-based insights to guide future innovations, implementations, and policymaking in digital education.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai jawaban atas tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 yang menuntut fleksibilitas, kreativitas, dan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik. Di balik konsep tersebut, terdapat landasan filosofis yang patut dikaji secara mendalam. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis keterkaitan antara filsafat naturalisme dengan pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka serta menelaah berbagai tantangan implementasinya dan implikasinya bagi praktik pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan pendekatan analisis tematik terhadap berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang terbit dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian yang kuat antara prinsip-prinsip naturalisme dan Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama dalam penerapan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik (student-centered learning), pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, model Project Based Learning (PjBL), serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator. Namun, implementasi di lapangan masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti keterbatasan sarana prasarana, pola pengajaran tradisional yang masih dominan, kesiapan guru yang belum merata, serta kesenjangan fasilitas antarwilayah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya inovasi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kebijakan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif terhadap konteks lokal. Disimpulkan bahwa filsafat naturalisme memberikan dasar konseptual yang kuat bagi Kurikulum Merdeka, tetapi keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada kemampuan sistem pendidikan dalam mengatasi hambatan struktural dan pedagogis di lapangan.
