The rapid development of Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology has transformed the global financial and entrepreneurial landscape, posing both opportunities and challenges for young entrepreneurs. This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital literacy and innovation capacity of 100 student entrepreneurs from Universitas Syiah Kuala by introducing practical applications of Agentic AI in financial technology and business development. The activity was conducted in the form of an online workshop, utilizing a service-learning approach, and facilitated by an expert in information systems. The program included knowledge transfer, case studies, and interactive discussions on the implementation of Agentic AI in business decision-making, financial automation, and digital trust. The results showed significant improvement in participants understanding and readiness to adopt such technologies, with marked increases in awareness, interest, and motivation toward innovation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development, determinants, and challenges of local government fiscal transparency during the period 2015–2025. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA protocol, with 147 articles initially identified from the Scopus database and 20 articles meeting the inclusion criteria for detailed analysis. The results indicate that studies on local government fiscal transparency remain fragmented and unevenly distributed, with the majority conducted in developed countries, while evidence from developing countries is still limited. Eight main determinant groups were identified, namely local government size and characteristics, economic and fiscal conditions, political and institutional factors, public participation and oversight, performance and social conditions, technology and access to information, situational and crisis contexts, and spatial and external factors. Furthermore, the findings show that fiscal transparency is frequently implemented more in form than in substance, since disclosed information is not always presented in an accessible, comprehensive, and understandable way for the public.

Abstract

This paper is designed to systematically investigate the influence of information asymmetry on stock holding periods using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The literature was gathered through the Publish or Perish software, utilizing data from the Google Scholar database for 2020–2025 with the keywords “Holding Period” and “Stock.” From an initial search that yielded 77 articles, 21 were selected based on criteria related to research focus, methodology, and accessibility. These selected articles were further analyzed to identify research trends, methodological approaches, key variables, and contexts. The findings indicate that information asymmetry, frequently assessed through the bid-ask spread, it has a substantial impact on investors’ decision-making regarding the duration of stock ownership. Although the literature presents some variation in findings, most evidence suggests that higher levels of information asymmetry tend to shorten holding periods due to increased uncertainty and risk. The review also highlights that most publications on this topic originate from Universitas Pelita Bangsa. The study enhances the body of literature in this field by consolidating scattered evidence and presenting a comprehensive review, while identifying future research directions in behavioral finance and market transparency.

Abstract

Objective This study examines the effect of corporate factors on holding period of common stock. The main corporate factors tested are information asymmetry, firm value, earnings per share, and other corporate factors profitability, company size, leverage, and liquidityare selected as control variables.Design/methodology The samples consist of 876 observations of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2017-2020. Samples were grouped using the threshold method based on their market capitalization to capture the different impacts based on certain conditions. To examine the hypotheses, we employed multivariate analysis with the threshold method. Results The results show that market capitalization contributes to determining the corporate factors' effect on the holding period of stock. Simultaneously, corporate factors affect significantly the holding period of stock. The increases in firm value, earnings per share, profitability, leverage, and corporate size extend the holding period. However, the emergence of information asymmetry precisely motivates investors to accelerate the holding period.Research limitations/implications This research did not consider the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on data even it used data for 2020 (at the onset of pandemic). For future reseach, we suggest to consider the issue of the Covid 19 pandemic in examining the effect of corporate factors on holding period of stock.Novelty/Originality This study differentiates the samples based on their capitalization value as the novelty. Previous research did not classify the sample based on its capitalization value so large-value stocks are treated the same as small-value stocks. Actually, investors treat these three groups of stocks in different ways

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the digital halal economy presents unprecedented opportunities for Muslim women to participate, innovate, and lead within value-driven economic systems. This study explores how digital technologiesparticularly e-commerce platforms, Islamic financial technology (fintech), and social mediahave become powerful tools for inclusion, entrepreneurship, and leadership among Muslim women. Through a qualitative literature-based approach, this research examines the intersection of gender, Islamic values, and digital innovation, revealing how Muslim women are redefining their economic agency while navigating sociocultural, structural, and regulatory challenges. The study identifies key areas of empowerment, such as ethical branding, syariah-compliant business practices, and community-driven mentoring within digital halal ecosystems. It also highlights the barriers posed by digital illiteracy, gender bias, and inadequate policy frameworks. Drawing from academic literature, case studies, and policy analyses, this paper proposes strategic pathways to build a gender-inclusive digital halal economy through education, value-aligned innovation, and ethical leadership. The findings contribute to global discourses on Islamic economics, gender equity, and digital transformation, emphasizing the importance of inclusive economic models that align with both technological advancement and Islamic ethics.
