Abstract

This community service activity aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit based on socio-technopreneurship among students of SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli, Pidie Regency, Aceh. The main issue addressed is the low interest and ability of students in entrepreneurship, primarily due to limited exposure to practical and technology-relevant entrepreneurship education. Using the Service Learning (SL) approach, the activity was conducted in the form of a workshop consisting of three main sessions: material presentation, business plan preparation practice, and presentation of results. The participants included 50 students guided by a team from the Program Studi Ekonomi Islam Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Syiah Kuala and the Pusat Riset Komunikasi Pemasaran, Pariwisata, dan Ekonomi Kreatif Universitas Syiah Kuala. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of socio-technopreneurship (from 60% to 85%) and their interest in entrepreneurship (75%). Additionally, 60% of the participant groups successfully developed innovative business plans. This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in creating decent work and promoting sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the management control systems of print entrepreneurs around Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). The main issue was the lack of understanding and implementation of effective control systems, leading to operational inefficiencies. Using a Service Learning approach, 10 entrepreneurs participated in training led by experts from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and USK. The training covered management control concepts and introduced basic technology tools to support business operations. Results showed a 25% increase in participants' understanding of management control systems and an 85% adoption rate of the techniques and technologies introduced. These improvements contributed to better business efficiency and align with Sustainable Development Goal 8, which emphasizes decent work and economic growth. This activity demonstrated that tailored training programs can significantly enhance small business operations and can be replicated for broader impact.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the digital halal economy presents unprecedented opportunities for Muslim women to participate, innovate, and lead within value-driven economic systems. This study explores how digital technologiesparticularly e-commerce platforms, Islamic financial technology (fintech), and social mediahave become powerful tools for inclusion, entrepreneurship, and leadership among Muslim women. Through a qualitative literature-based approach, this research examines the intersection of gender, Islamic values, and digital innovation, revealing how Muslim women are redefining their economic agency while navigating sociocultural, structural, and regulatory challenges. The study identifies key areas of empowerment, such as ethical branding, syariah-compliant business practices, and community-driven mentoring within digital halal ecosystems. It also highlights the barriers posed by digital illiteracy, gender bias, and inadequate policy frameworks. Drawing from academic literature, case studies, and policy analyses, this paper proposes strategic pathways to build a gender-inclusive digital halal economy through education, value-aligned innovation, and ethical leadership. The findings contribute to global discourses on Islamic economics, gender equity, and digital transformation, emphasizing the importance of inclusive economic models that align with both technological advancement and Islamic ethics.
