Abstract

Straw waste, which is often underutilized, contains abundant cellulose that holds potential as a raw material for environmentally friendly filtration technologies. The conversion of agricultural waste into value-added products, such as mask microfilters, aligns with the increasing demand for sustainable materials, particularly in the context of public health protection. Harnessing cellulose from straw offers a promising alternative to synthetic fibers commonly used in mask production, while simultaneously addressing waste management challenges. This study aims to determine the characterization of microfilter masks from straw waste and the effectiveness of straw microfilters used in cloth masks. Cellulose from straw waste can be used as a mask microfilter by going through several stages, such as: preparation, extraction, delignification, bleaching, characterization, and making mask microfilters and effectiveness tests. The characterization of structure, morphology and topology from the straw waste cellulose has not been fully degraded from lignin as shown from the aromatic C = C stretching vibrations on lignin at wave numbers 1638.34 cm-1, 1648 cm-1, and 1583.56 cm-1 of FTIR also SEM tools at 3600 times magnification. The effectiveness of the microfilter mask is 94% and 91%  as evidenced by each bacterial filtration test and the decreasing data of the dust filtration test.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the use of jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media can improve chemistry learning outcomes for class X SMA. The study conducted was  quasi experimental design. The samples were randomly selected (simple random sampling) while the sample was X MIPA 1 as controll class and X MIPA 3 as experimental class. The independent variables of this study were the use of  jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media in the experimental class and the use of  jigsaw type cooperative learning model in the control class. The dependent variable in this study is chemistry learning outcomes. The chemistry learning outcomes were carried out by the N-gain test with the result that the student of experimental class has the most N-gain value in effective category of 63,88% compared to the controll class of 17,14%. The data in this study were declared abnormal and homogenous. Then, the hypothesis was carried out with Mann-Withney and Wilcoxon test. The result of the hypothesis test is there is an influence of the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media on chemistry learning outcomes in class of X SMA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana penggunaan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 10 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan berdasarkan modul ajar yang telah disusun menggunakan metode team games tournament (TGT). Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 menunjukkan  nilai rata-rata 70 dan persentase ketuntasan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) siswa kelas IVB sebesar 60% dengan jumlah siswa yang tidak mencapai KKM sebanyak 15 siswa. Sementara itu, pada siklus 2 hasil belajar menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 95 dengan persentase ketuntasan KKM sebesar 85% dengan jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 22 siswa. Hasil dari pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak 2 siklus bahwa penggunaan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 10 Mataram.
