Abstract

Ethics in scientific research is a crucial foundation for maintaining the quality, integrity, and trustworthiness of research outcomes. In an increasingly competitive academic environment driven by publication pressure, ethical violations such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (research misconduct) have become serious threats to the credibility of the scientific community. This article aims to review recent literature on the fundamental principles of research ethics as well as methods for identifying and preventing scientific misconduct. By examining various academic sources, this review highlights the importance of ethics education based on contextual, interactive, and continuous training, along with the need for firm institutional policies to foster a responsible and dignified research culture. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the vital role of academic leadership and the involvement of all campus elements in the prevention and management of ethical violations in research.

Abstract

The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is an approach aimed at enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in elementary school-aged children. At this developmental stage, students are capable of more logical and concrete thinking, and they begin to understand cause-and-effect concepts and connect ideas more effectively. In addition to their growing memory capabilities, students at this stage also start to learn how to plan and make decisions based on rational thinking. Therefore, the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) emphasizes active involvement of students in the learning process through the resolution of real-life problems that are relevant to their everyday lives.This research aims to analyze the influence of PBL on the cognitive development of elementary school students through a literature review method. Based on the literature study, PBL has been shown to be effective in stimulating cognitive development in students, particularly in critical, logical, and analytical thinking aspects. Through this approach, students are not only required to understand concepts but also to apply their knowledge in real-world situations. This research provides in-depth insights into the importance of PBL in enhancing the cognitive development of elementary school students.   Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, Cognitive Development, Elementary School-Aged Children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana integrasi antara manajemen sekolah dan standar penilaian pendidikan dapat mendukung pembelajaran yang berkualitas, dengan studi kasus di SDN Serang 04. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran manajemen sekolah dalam mengelola sumber daya pendidikan dan implementasi standar penilaian yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan pengawas sekolah, observasi langsung terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran dan manajemen, serta dokumentasi terkait kebijakan dan hasil penilaian peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi yang harmonis antara kebijakan manajemen sekolah termasuk pengelolaan kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, dan sarana prasarana dengan penerapan standar penilaian yang objektif dan berkelanjutan, mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan di sekolah menjadi faktor pendukung utama dalam menjaga konsistensi dan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru dan kepala sekolah dalam manajemen berbasis mutu dan praktik penilaian autentik sebagai strategi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dasar secara menyeluruh.
