Abstract

Spiders play an important role in agriculture, plantations, and settlements by preventing pest insects. Efforts to conserve ecosystems are fundamentally a right and an absolute obligation for every generation because an ecosystem harbors a wealth of biodiversity, one of which is spiders. The purpose of the research is to determine the diversity of spider species (Araneae) found in the Ubedolumolo I bamboo forest. The research method used is Explorative Descriptive through observation and documentation at each transect. The transect used is a belt transect combined with a quadrat transect. The data obtained were then analyzed for species diversity, uniformity, and dominance of spiders (Araneae). The results show that the number of spiders obtained was 11 species classified into 5 families, with a total of 924 individual spiders overall. The spider species include Argiope appensa, Argiope versicolor, Macracantha hasselti, Nephila pilipes, Heteropoda venatoria, Tigrosa aspersa, Pardosa milvina, Leucauge tessellata, Leucauge argyra, Tylorida ventralis, and Opadometa fastigata. The spider species diversity index of 2.187452 falls into the moderate index category, the evenness index of 0.912239 falls into the high index category, and the dominance index of 0.138877 falls into the low index category.

Abstract

Shallots are very good for cultivation. The demand for shallots comes from the onion-based industry and household consumption where they are used as cooking ingredients and traditional herbs. With the high market demand for shallots, it becomes an economic opportunity to improve the economy of farmers. One of the problems of shallot cultivation is the low quality of the soil in the form of soil properties such as physical properties, biological properties and chemical properties of the soil and decreasing soil fertility. One effort to improve soil properties and increase soil fertility is by adding soil conditioners in the form of biochar. The purpose of writing this journal is to review the results of previous research in identifying the effect of bamboo biochar application on the growth of shallots. The method used is the library research method. The application of biochar has an effect on the growth of shallot plant yields, in addition the application of biochar can increase the microbial population in the soil.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current environmental crisis conditions, analyze the urgency of the Application of Green Theology in Overcoming the Environmental Crisis, Opportunities and Potential of Green Theology in Overcoming the Environmental Crisis. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study approach and textual analysis. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Indonesia's environmental conditions are concerning, serious efforts are needed to overcome them through public awareness, law enforcement, and environmentally friendly technology, with the concept of Ecological Repentance as one solution, 2) Green Theology is very important in overcoming the environmental crisis because it provides a holistic perspective on the relationship between humans and the environment. The implementation of Green Theology can help increase awareness and sustainable behavior, as well as promote environmental justice and interfaith cooperation. Thus, Green Theology can be a solution to overcome the environmental crisis and create a more sustainable future, and 3) Green Theology has great opportunities and potential in overcoming the environmental crisis by increasing awareness and sustainable behavior, as well as promoting environmental justice and cooperation between humans and nature. The implementation of Green Theology can be done through environmental education, sustainable lifestyles, and real actions to protect the environment, so as to reduce negative impacts on the environment and improve the quality of life.

Abstract

Potatoes are a potential food crop to be cultivated because they contain carbohydrates, protein, minerals and vitaminsand are able to meet people’s demand for food supply. Demand for potatoes comes from household consumption, restaurant businesses and potato based indrustries. Apart from providing food needs, potato cultivation can support the community’s economy. Therefore, potato cultivation needs to continue to be carried out optimally. One of the problems with potato cultivation is the decreasing quality of the soil due to the tendency tu use inorganic fertilizers so that soil fertility decreases. The solution implemented is the application of organic materials to improve soil quality and provide plant nutrients. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the effect to appliying organic cow dung fertilizer on changes in soil quality and potato plant growth. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with literature study techniques.

Abstract

Nginamanu Village has superior potential in the agricultural sector and the livestock sub-sector which is the main source of income for the community. This potential has not been utilized optimally due to the limited knowledge and skills of the community in the management of their natural resources. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to empower the farming community in Nginamanu Village and improve the quality of human resources to be able to manage and develop local potential in a more productive and sustainable manner. This activity involved students from the Agrotechnology and Agribusiness Study Program, accompanied by lecturers from both study programs as facilitators and resource persons. The methods used in this activity include community empowerment through a participatory approach, the formation of local work teams, community-based training, and ongoing mentoring in the field. The training materials include modern agricultural cultivation techniques, agribusiness management, processing of agricultural products, and institutional capacity building of farmer groups. In addition, training was also provided on the development of environmentally friendly household-scale farms. The results of the activities show a significant increase in community knowledge and skills, which is reflected in increasing agricultural productivity, the use of appropriate technology, and growing awareness of the importance of efficient farm management. The community is able to apply the training materials through direct practice on their respective farms. On the other hand, this activity is a medium for the implementation of knowledge and field experience for students, strengthening their active involvement in village development. This PKM activity proves that synergy between universities and village communities can be a driving force in improving welfare based on local potential.
