Abstract

Latar belakang: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Empowerment dan Transformational Leadership terhadap Employee Engagement dengan Employee Motivation sebagai Variabel Intervening. Metode penelitian: Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di Medan yang bekerja di perusahaan e-commerce. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menetapkan 100 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah SmartPLS 4.0, dengan melakukan pengujian model pengukuran (Outer Model) sekaligus pengujian Model Struktural (Inner Model). Hasil penelitian: Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, semua nilai indikator original sample berada > 0,7 yang berarti bahwa semua indikator variabel yang digunakan peneliti dinyatakan sudah valid. Sementara semua pernyataan dari setiap variabel dinyatakan reliabel dan valid karena setiap variabel memiliki nilai Cronbach’s alpha > 0,7, Composite reliability > 0,7 dan Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0,5. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa empowerment tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Employee Engagement. empowerment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Motivation. Employee Motivation memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement. Tranformational Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement. Tranformational Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Motivation. Employee Motivation tidak memediasi antara varaibel empowerment dengan Employee Engagement. Employee Motivation tidak memediasi pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Employee Engagement. Kesimpulan: Empowerment tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Employee Engagement. empowerment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Motivation. Employee Motivation memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement. Tranformational Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Engagement. Tranformational Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Employee Motivation. Employee Motivation tidak memediasi antara varaibel empowerment dengan Employee Engagement. Employee Motivation tidak memediasi pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Employee Engagement. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse how the alpha generation including characteristics, education and career. The type of research used in this research is a literature study with the sources used include; textbooks, scientific journals, statistical references, research results published in national and international journals. The data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The results of this study are that the alpha generation has characteristics such as: always connected to internet connections and social media, alpha generation has a specialisation in skills, likes things that are instant and practical, loves freedom, great desire for recognition, individualism, declining nationalism character. The vulnerabilities that the Alpha Generation will face are digital addiction, dependence on technology, mental health problems, dependence on parents, environmental issues and global uncertainty, education gap. Generation Alpha is predicted to be the generation with the highest level of education in history. However, they have a different learning style than previous generations. Social media platforms have a huge influence on their lives which also affects learning styles. Alphas expect visual, aural, and kinesthetic methods to be used in classroom management, and they are more prone to distraction, which is an important factor to consider in creating a teaching-learning environment, meaning that the learning process must coexist with technology. In 2031, the oldest Generation Alpha will begin to enter the workforce. Their jobs will be in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) fields.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence student decisions in choosing Private Higher Education, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas. The population of this research are active students at the Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas, Faculty of Economics, Stambuk 2022. The sample used are 100 people. Sampling technique using probability sampling and simple random sampling. While data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using SPSS 20.00 for windows software with factor analysis. The variables used are product, price, physical evidence, people, campus promotions, reference groups, motivation, economic circumstances, personal. Test KMO and Barlett test which shows value Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin Meansure of Sampling adequacy (KMO MSA) of 0.871 with a significance value of 0.000 means that the existing variables and samples can be analyzed using factor analysis. All factors researched had an MSA value of > 0.5, meaning that these variables could still be predicted and analyzed further. Furthermore, the extraction value for each variable is above 0.50, meaning that all indicators are considered capable of explaining the factors. The results showed that 2 new factors were formed, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are the dominant factors that have an influence on student decisions in choosing Private Higher Education, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors that encourage MSMEs to use Facebook advertising and its impact on business kinerjance. Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), the study validates a theoretical model through a survey of 250 Indonesian MSME owners. The results show a direct and significant influence between compatibility, social influence, and perceived ease of use on Facebook advertising behavior. However, no influence was found from cost, facilitating conditions, or perceived usefulness. The perceived financial resource availability factor has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between Facebook advertising and business kinerjance. Generally, Facebook advertising does not significantly influence business kinerjance, especially in terms of profit and efficiency, but it positively affects indicators supporting business kinerjance, such as growth, personal goals, and reputation.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how the influence of Employer branding and Work Life Balance on Turnover Intention in Generation Z in Medan City: Job Satisfaction as Intervening. The population of this research is generation Z employees in Medan City. The number of samples used was 100 people with sampling techniques using purposive samples. While collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses SmartPLS software. The results of the Outer Model Test show that all original sample indicator values are> 0.7, which means that all variable indicators used by researchers are declared valid. In addition, all statements from each variable are declared reliable which is characterized by a Cronbach's alpha value> 0.7, Composite reliability> 0.7 and Average Variance Extracted (AVE)> 0.5. While the results of the inner model test show Employer branding has a positive influence on Turnover Intention, that Employer branding has a positive influence on Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has a negative effect on Turnover Intention, Worklife Balance has a negative influence on Turnover Intention, Sample = 0.558, T Statistics = 9.219 and P Values = 0.000. These results indicate that Work Life Balance has a positive influence on Job Satisfaction, Employer branding has a negative influence on Turnover Intention through Job Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between Work Life Balance and Turnover Intention

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of Capital Structure, Return On Equity, and Firm Size partially and significantly or simultaneously and significantly on Price to Book Value in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which consist of 60 companies. The sample selection was done by purposive sampling method that is based on the research objectives with several criteria. The number of samples in this study were 20 companies. The data used is secondary data originating from the company's financial statements which can be accessed through the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis by testing the classical assumptions first, then performing the t test and F test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the t test show that Capital Structure has a negative and significant effect on Price to Book Value, while Return On Equity and Firm Size have a positive and significant effect on Price to Book Value. The results of the F test show that Capital Structure, Return On Equity, and Firm Size have a simultaneous and significant effect on Price to Book Value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure (Longterm Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) on corporate income tax payable in retail trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2017-2020. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling with a sample of 10 companies. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression equation using SPSS 22. From the results of the SPSS test, it is known that the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.421. This means that the capital structure (Longterm Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) together affects the corporate income tax payable, which is 42.1%. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that the Longterm Debt to Asset Ratio has a significant negative effect on corporate income tax payable and the Debt to Equity Ratio has an insignificant positive effect on corporate income tax payable in retail trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017 -2020.
