The background of writing this community service and CSR activity is the importance of a business plan for novice entrepreneurs in starting the business they are engaged in as a guide in running a business. The problem in this research is how is a simple, good and correct business plan for novice entrepreneurs? The purpose of this community service and CSR activity is to provide strengthening of knowledge and skills in terms of simple, good and correct business planning to novice entrepreneurs. The participants of this workshop were 20 students of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas who had graduated from the Entrepreneurship course and were interested in becoming novice entrepreneurs. The method used in this training is the workshop method. This workshop activity is funded from CSR funds of business companies operating in North Sumatra Province. The result of this training activity is the production of business proposals for budding entrepreneurs that can be directly implemented in the business world.

This research aims to determine the influence of occupational health safety, training and career development on employee performance. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely PT employees. PLN (Persero) UP2B SUMBAGUT. The data collected is quantitative and will be analyzed using existing formulas assisted by SPSS version 26 software. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing state that the variables of occupational health safety, training and career development simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of PT employees. PLN (Persero) UP2B SUMBAGUT which can be seen from the significance value F < α, namely 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination of the Ajusted R Square value is 0.706, meaning that employee performance can be explained by the variables of occupational health safety, training and career development by 70.6%, while another 29.4% can be explained by other factors such as leadership, motivation, compensation and many more. which was not explained in this study.

Indonesian tourism MSMEs have a low level of resilience, making them unprepared for crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due to a lack of resources for organizational adaptability. Researchers are exploring the role of organizational resilience and strategic renewal in improving the performance of these MSMEs. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis shows a positive relationship between ambidexterity capability and human capital on strategic renewal, and strategic renewal positively impacts performance. However, organizational resilience has little impact on strategic renewal. Factors such as limited resources and unpreparedness for economic crisis conditions impede the resilience of these MSMEs.

This study aims to investigate the role of leadership and personality in trust. This research uses a survey with a multiple regression analysis approach. The size of the sample is 105 respondents who were selected at simple random from a population of 145 populations using the Slovin formula who were at a low managerial level with work experience of more than five years and assigned to the plantation area were surveyed. The results of the study found that there is a direct positive influence of leadership on trust. Also, there is a direct positive influence of personality on trust. Additionally, there is a joint influence of leadership and personality on trust. Referring to these findings, the researcher can conclude that trust is positively influenced by leadership and personality. Therefore, to maintain trust, organizations must apply leadership and personality. Finally, it is concluded that leadership and personality must be considered in generating trust. To increase trust, it should be by increasing leadership, because the value of the coefficient of influence is greater than personality.

In preserving the natural environment and improving the welfare of local communities, ecotourism development is needed through the involvement of local culture. Ecotourism development is an important note to realize Lake Toba as a classy destination and viewed by the world, because the values obtained will realize sustainable development, introduce culture and improve the economy, especially the local community. The involvement of local culture is a buffer for developing the sustainability of ecotourism in promoting and increasing the number of tourist visits. One of the efforts often made by local culture to develop ecotourism through rituals or traditional ceremonies, by introducing traditions and customary norms that are owned, there needs to be a more in-depth study or research with the aim of assessing the potential for ecotourism development, identifying the level of influence and importance of stakeholders, analyzing benefits and trends as well as strategies for developing and managing ecotourism. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observations, and literature searches. The analysis used was the Analysis of Operational Areas located in the ecotourism area, analysis of the level of influence and interests of local culture in the involvement of developing ecotourism using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that Ecotourism is worthy of being developed as a long-term investment. The involvement of local culture as the main key player in introducing ecotourism. Local cultural involvement provides benefits to improve socio-economic. Ecotourism development strategies can adopt collaboration involving traditional figures who are at the forefront of introducing ecotourism.

Setiap anak memiliki hak yang sama untuk mencapai kesuksesan, termasuk anak-anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Namun, tantangan yang mereka hadapi seringkali lebih kompleks dibandingkan anak-anak yang dibesarkan dalam keluarga. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Talenta Delpita yang berlokasi di Jalan Unika Ujung Gang Sepadan I LK XX Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode intervensi sosial. Metode intervensi sosial adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Intervensi sosial dapat diartikan sebagai cara atau strategi untuk membantu orang perorangan atau kelompok atau keluarga atau komunitas dalam konteks kehidupan sosial mereka dengan tujuan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat tersebut. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa anak panti asuhan tidak serta merta dapat dijustifikasi sebagai anak yang tidak memiliki motivasi apapun untuk sukses. Anak panti juga tidak bisa dijustifikasi sebagai anak yang bermasa depan suram. Anak panti juga tidak bisa dijustifikasi sebagai anak lemah dan tidak bisa berbuat apapun. Pada kenyataannya, mereka adalah anak- anak yang bisa berbuat lebih, memiliki potensi lebih dan mampu memperjuangkan hak kesuksesan yang ada pada dirinya, selama mereka mau dan mampu mengembangkan potensi sukses yang ada, dengan memaksimalkan motivasi dari dalam dan luar yang ada pada dirinya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan dukungan yang tepat, anak-anak panti asuhan Talenta Delpita memiliki potensi yang sama untuk meraih kesuksesan seperti anak-anak lainnya.

Literatur menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia sebagai kegiatan terorganisir yang dimaksudkan untuk menyampaikan informasi atau instruksi untuk meningkatkan staf kinerja atau untuk memperoleh tingkat keterampilan atau pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk membantu karyawan. Pembangunan mengidentifikasi kegiatan yang mengarah pada keterampilan atau pengetahuan baru dengan tujuan tunggal untuk pertumbuhan pribadi, kinerja organisasi terpengaruh karena keterampilan, pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keterampilan staf dapat ditingkatkan dan diperbarui dampak dan hubungan antar pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap kinerja organisasi. Literatur menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan sumber daya manusia dapat melengkapi manajemen untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini melakukan tinjauan sistematis terhadap artikel-artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2014 hingga 2024 yang berkaitan dengan Perencanaan Terhadap Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia Pada Era Globalisasi Industri 4.0. Studi ini menemukan bahwa salah satu cara bagi organisasi untuk mengembangkan tenaga kerja yang lebih berdedikasi dan efektif adalah melalui perencanaan sumber daya manusia. Hal ini juga menunjukkan betapa pentingnya perencanaan tenaga kerja bagi kelangsungan hidup organisasi dalam jangka panjang, maksimalisasi keuntungan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur perencanaan sumber daya manusia, karena perenanan sumber daya manusia dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, terbukti dari beberarapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan.

This research explores the operations management strategies implemented to improve operational efficiency and service quality in Cooperative “XYZ” as well as the hospitality sector in Samosir Regency. With a descriptive analytical approach and secondary data support from performance reports, customer satisfaction surveys, and academic literature, it was found that strategies such as information technology utilization, capacity planning, and supply chain management made significant contributions. The utilization of a decision support system (DSS) enables more targeted data-driven decision-making. The results showed that the utilization of information technology increased operational efficiency by 30% and customer satisfaction reached 86.7%. The utilization of SPK places alternative technology utilization strategies as a top priority for optimizing operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Decision Support System (DSS) is a tool that helps organizations make objective and structured data-driven decisions. One of the commonly used methods in DSS is the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT), which enables the evaluation and comparison of alternatives based on multiple criteria with predetermined weights. This study aims to implement the MAUT method to assess employee eligibility in the production sector by considering factors such as technical knowledge, operational skills, time management, workplace safety, and work quality. By applying MAUT, companies can rank employees based on utility scores calculated through normalization and weighting. Data were collected from 30 production employees using observations and interviews to assess performance based on 12 key indicators. The results indicate that the MAUT method provides structured and accurate outcomes in determining the most eligible employees according to the specified criteria. Furthermore, this method supports more transparent and efficient decision-making, particularly in employee evaluation, promotion, and human resource management. This study concludes that implementing MAUT significantly contributes to assisting manufacturing and industrial companies in objectively managing employees and provides a foundation for developing AI-based employee evaluation models and machine learning applications in the future
