Abstract

The development of technology has spread throughout the world and even across the boundaries of thelives of many people. The development of companies engaged in the business sector, for example,business entity institutions in the sale of goods. These goods sales activities often experience variousproblems that may arise in the activities of the report, so it takes a long time to make a report. Computersfor example, the existence of this object makes it possible no longer need to do the tedious tasks,especially in the activities of selling groceries manually but it requires a long time. For that reason, theauthor tries to design a computer-based application that is expected to be able to overcome the variousweaknesses of a manual work system that is currently running, especially information on selling groceriesin stores.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of management information technology and intellectual intelligence on the work productivity of employees of PT. Perintis Perkasa Medan. The decline in employee work productivity is due to management information technology and intellectual intelligence. The population in this study was: 128 employees. The number of samples in this study was 97 employees. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The study concludes that Partially Information Management Technology has a positive and significant effect on the Employee Productivity of PT. Perintis Perkasa Medan. Partially, Intellectual Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on the Employee Productivity of PT. Perintis Perkasa Medan. Simultaneously Management Information Technology and Intellectual Intelligence have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Productivity of PT. Perintis Perkasa Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of school principals in fostering teacher professionalism at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The research approach used was qualitative with a descriptive method, namely knowing and giving an overview of an objective fact and situation that occurred in the field, with research informants at SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The results of this study indicate that the management of the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Pancur Batu in fostering teacher professionalism is carried out well. This is indicated by 4 aspects, namely (1) in the planning aspect, the school principal has implemented efforts to improve the quality of education and teacher professionalism; (2) organizational aspects, the principal involves all school members to be involved in all forms of activity; (3) implementation aspect: in practice the school principal has a program implemented, namely providing opportunities for teachers to attend training, seminars, and activities related to teacher professional competence; and (4) evaluation aspect: evaluation really needs to be done to influence the level of achievement of the goals that have been set previously.

Abstract

Indonesian tourism MSMEs have a low level of resilience, making them unprepared for crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due to a lack of resources for organizational adaptability. Researchers are exploring the role of organizational resilience and strategic renewal in improving the performance of these MSMEs. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis shows a positive relationship between ambidexterity capability and human capital on strategic renewal, and strategic renewal positively impacts performance. However, organizational resilience has little impact on strategic renewal. Factors such as limited resources and unpreparedness for economic crisis conditions impede the resilience of these MSMEs.

Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki hak yang sama untuk mencapai kesuksesan, termasuk anak-anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Namun, tantangan yang mereka hadapi seringkali lebih kompleks dibandingkan anak-anak yang dibesarkan dalam keluarga. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Talenta Delpita yang berlokasi di Jalan Unika Ujung Gang Sepadan I LK XX Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode intervensi sosial. Metode intervensi sosial adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Intervensi sosial dapat diartikan sebagai cara atau strategi untuk membantu orang perorangan atau kelompok atau keluarga atau komunitas dalam konteks kehidupan sosial mereka dengan tujuan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat tersebut. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa anak panti asuhan tidak serta merta dapat dijustifikasi sebagai anak yang tidak memiliki motivasi apapun untuk sukses. Anak panti juga tidak bisa dijustifikasi sebagai anak yang bermasa depan suram. Anak panti juga tidak bisa dijustifikasi sebagai anak lemah dan tidak bisa berbuat apapun. Pada kenyataannya, mereka adalah anak- anak yang bisa berbuat lebih, memiliki potensi lebih dan mampu memperjuangkan hak kesuksesan yang ada pada dirinya, selama mereka mau dan mampu mengembangkan potensi sukses yang ada, dengan memaksimalkan motivasi dari dalam dan luar yang ada pada dirinya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan dukungan yang tepat, anak-anak panti asuhan Talenta Delpita memiliki potensi yang sama untuk meraih kesuksesan seperti anak-anak lainnya.

Abstract

Literatur menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia sebagai kegiatan terorganisir yang dimaksudkan untuk menyampaikan informasi atau instruksi untuk meningkatkan staf kinerja atau untuk memperoleh tingkat keterampilan atau pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk membantu karyawan. Pembangunan mengidentifikasi kegiatan yang mengarah pada keterampilan atau pengetahuan baru dengan tujuan tunggal untuk pertumbuhan pribadi, kinerja organisasi terpengaruh karena keterampilan, pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keterampilan staf dapat ditingkatkan dan diperbarui dampak dan hubungan antar pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap kinerja organisasi. Literatur menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan sumber daya manusia dapat melengkapi manajemen untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini melakukan tinjauan sistematis terhadap artikel-artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2014 hingga 2024 yang berkaitan dengan Perencanaan Terhadap Kinerja Sumber Daya Manusia Pada Era Globalisasi Industri 4.0. Studi ini menemukan bahwa salah satu cara bagi organisasi untuk mengembangkan tenaga kerja yang lebih berdedikasi dan efektif adalah melalui perencanaan sumber daya manusia. Hal ini juga menunjukkan betapa pentingnya perencanaan tenaga kerja bagi kelangsungan hidup organisasi dalam jangka panjang, maksimalisasi keuntungan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur perencanaan sumber daya manusia, karena perenanan sumber daya manusia dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, terbukti dari beberarapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence student decisions in choosing Private Higher Education, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas. The population of this research are active students at the Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas, Faculty of Economics, Stambuk 2022. The sample used are 100 people. Sampling technique using probability sampling and simple random sampling. While data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using SPSS 20.00 for windows software with factor analysis. The variables used are product, price, physical evidence, people, campus promotions, reference groups, motivation, economic circumstances, personal. Test KMO and Barlett test which shows value Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin Meansure of Sampling adequacy (KMO MSA) of 0.871 with a significance value of 0.000 means that the existing variables and samples can be analyzed using factor analysis. All factors researched had an MSA value of > 0.5, meaning that these variables could still be predicted and analyzed further. Furthermore, the extraction value for each variable is above 0.50, meaning that all indicators are considered capable of explaining the factors. The results showed that 2 new factors were formed, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are the dominant factors that have an influence on student decisions in choosing Private Higher Education, Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas.

Abstract

In this study, we look at technology readiness related to performance expectancy and effort expectancy from UTAUT2 to analyze urban community perceptions of smart city services. Data is collected using a survey questionnaire. We use Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. The questionnaire consists of 16 items on the Technology Readiness Index 2.0 scale to measure technological readiness and the UTAUT2 scale which has 29 items. The research of the study shows that optimism has a positive effect on performance expectancy and effort expectancy in using smart services. This means that respondents believe and have a sense of optimism that smart city service technology will be understood and used. Effort expectancy, facilitation conditions, and hedonic motivation have a positive effect on the intention to use smart services. It can be said that although some users are anxious about the new technology, it will not have an impact on the usability and ease of use of smart service technology.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors that encourage MSMEs to use Facebook advertising and its impact on business kinerjance. Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), the study validates a theoretical model through a survey of 250 Indonesian MSME owners. The results show a direct and significant influence between compatibility, social influence, and perceived ease of use on Facebook advertising behavior. However, no influence was found from cost, facilitating conditions, or perceived usefulness. The perceived financial resource availability factor has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between Facebook advertising and business kinerjance. Generally, Facebook advertising does not significantly influence business kinerjance, especially in terms of profit and efficiency, but it positively affects indicators supporting business kinerjance, such as growth, personal goals, and reputation.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of compensation, leadership, and work environment on employee job satisfaction at the Cooperative Savings and Loan (KSP) Karya Murni Binjai. With a sample size of 64 individuals, data was collected through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that compensation, leadership, and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, with an f-value of 22.446 (F-table = 2.31). Partially, compensation (t-value = 3.986), leadership (t-value = 3.716), and the work environment (t-value = 2.035) also show significant effects (t-table = 1.661). A correlation coefficient (r) of 0.745 suggests a strong relationship, and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.555 indicates that these variables can explain 55.5% of job satisfaction variability.Based on these findings, it is recommended to evaluate compensation policies, including reviewing salary levels and incentives, and implementing recognition programs to enhance employee motivation. Leadership training, supportive leadership styles, and mentoring can strengthen the supervisor-subordinate relationship. Evaluating workplace factors, such as improving lighting, temperature, and facilities, and promoting an inclusive work culture, is essential. Providing space for employee input can also enhance overall workplace conditions.
