Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMA Negeri Karanganyar. TPACK is a conceptual framework that combines three main components in modern learning, namely content mastery, pedagogical strategies, and the use of technology. In the context of PAI learning, the application of this approach is important to address the challenges of the digital era without losing the essence of religious values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, and learning materials. The research results show that the teachers' mastery of content knowledge is quite good, but the pedagogical and technological aspects have not been optimally integrated. The learning strategies are still conventional and teacher-centered, while the use of technology is limited to non-interactive visual presentation media. The Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP) does not yet reflect a systemic synergy between technology, pedagogy, and content. The obstacles faced include a lack of practice-based technical training, limited technological infrastructure, and cultural resistance to the digitalization of religious education. In conclusion, the implementation of TPACK in PAI learning at SMA Negeri Karanganyar is still in its early stages and requires strengthening in the aspects of planning, execution, and institutional support. Improvement strategies are needed in the form of structured training, provision of digital facilities, and reform of pedagogical culture to encourage more contextual, participatory, and adaptive PAI learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Higher education demands that students not only master knowledge but also actualize their ideas through scientific works, including journal article publications. However, low literacy interest, lack of writing skills, and limited understanding of the publication process present major student challenges. This study aims to examine and develop innovative strategies to enhance students' scientific writing skills as an alternative to thesis writing to support the achievement of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in accredited scientific publications. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was done through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, employing triangulation of techniques and sources. The results show that journal publication plays a strategic role in shaping students' academic culture. However, challenges such as low literacy, lack of mentoring, and low motivation remain significant barriers. Study programs have implemented writing workshops, intensive mentoring, incentive provision, and hands-on writing practice to encourage student productivity. It can be concluded that strategies based on active practice, lecturer-student collaboration, and support through facilities and incentives effectively improve the quality of students' journal publications. The implementation of these strategies not only improves students' writing skills but also strengthens a productive and collaborative academic culture within higher education institutions. Furthermore, this approach accelerates the achievement of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in research and scientific publications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based assessment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 2 Ngemplak. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, and supporting documentation. The research explores how digital tools are integrated into the assessment process and how these methods align with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes holistic, student-centered learning and character development. The findings reveal that PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Ngemplak have adopted a comprehensive assessment strategy that addresses cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The evaluation process follows systematic stages: planning, implementation, data processing, interpretation, and reporting. Digital tools, particularly Google Forms and Quizizz, are utilized as primary instruments for formative and summative assessments. These tools enable efficient question delivery, automatic grading, real-time feedback, and secure data storage, enhancing the overall evaluation process. However, the integration of digital assessment is not without challenges. Issues such as limited access to devices, unstable internet connectivity, and the need for increased digital literacy among students and teachers have been identified as significant barriers. Despite these obstacles, the study demonstrates a progressive shift toward digital transformation in educational assessment, even within Islamic education subjects. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the application of educational technology in religious instruction and provides practical insights for educators and policymakers aiming to enhance assessment practices in line with the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings suggest that with adequate support and infrastructure, digital assessment can serve as an effective tool for evaluating diverse student competencies in Islamic Education.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab ini masih tergolong sangat banyak terutama dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Dari kenyataan yang saat ini terjadi bahasa Arab memiliki sedikit peminat bagi yang mempelajarinya dibandingkan dengan bahasa asing yang lainnya. Banyak siswa yang beranggapan bahwa bahasa Arab lebih rumit untuk dipelajari dibandingkan dengan bahasa Inggris atau bahasa asing lainnya terutama dalam keterampilan berbicara (maharotul kalam). Dalam hal ini guru memilki peran penting dalam menemukan strategi yang tepat digunakan untuk siswa meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab siswa terutama dalam keterampilan berbicara (maharotul kalam) sesuai dengan keadaan siswa di kelas sehingga mampu meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi strategi guru dalam meningkatkan maharotul kalam di MTs. Husnul Khotimah Kuningan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan guru dalam meningkatkan maharotul kalam serta mengidentifkasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat siswa malas berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh didapat dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah analisis data dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa strategi pembiasaan lingkungan berbahasa dan muhadharah merupakan strategi yang paling efektif dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa MTs. Husnul Khotimah Kuningan.
