Abstract

This study aims to understand the differences between the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum, to compare the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum at the junior high school level, and to analyze some of the difficulties experienced in implementing the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Bringin. This research uses qualitative research methods with observation and interview data collection techniques. The subject of this research is the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Mrs. Tri Retnaningtyas, S.Pd. The results of the research show that the 2013 curriculum has a fairly good concept in every educational process. however, the application of the independent curriculum in some driving schools is carried out in the first year with a fairly good implementation. which has been developed in various schools this year. some schools are still carrying out a design agenda related to formulas that are in accordance with the implementation of the independent curriculum concept. poisonous in the description that has been mentioned, the application of the Easter independent curriculum is carried out in an analysis that is better and quite in accordance with the existing educational culture in Indonesia compared to the 2013 curriculum. Therefore, there are some things that must be taken into consideration by a policymaker as well as an implementer in the world of education, where the Merdeka curriculum can be applied in a targeted manner or improve some of the previously implemented curricula. not just a program whose implementation is carried out by force in all education or junior high schools in Indonesia, especially those in Ngawi Regency.

Abstract

The rise of an understanding of radicalism, especially in the university environment, indicates that conditions in that environment are not good - fine, the biggest factor in the increasingly widespread understanding of radicalism is because someone is wrong when he understands religion. Muhammadiyah, which is an Islamic organization that is concerned with education, has a step to ensure that students stay on the "track" when they are religious, namely with the learning of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan which has the aim of renewing thinking, completing recreation from a religious point of view, philosophical system, large, strategic, and schooling.This research is classified as qualitative research using the type of library research (library study) with documentation data collection.The purpose of this study is to describe the understanding of radicalism and multicultural values in the new paradigm of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. The results of this study Radicalism is an understanding that requires the presence of change, substitution, and breaking the social framework to the roots and there are four values of multiculturalism in the new paradigm of AIK, such as: the perspective of theoantopocentrism, understanding the instructions (nash) intelligently, critically and contextually, humans as khalifah and Abdullah and the perspective of zuhud (ascetic) life.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the concept of the ideal teacher's personality in Islamic education through the integration of classical values proposed by Ibn Sahnun and Azzarnuji with the principles of modern Islamic education. In this context, the research highlights the importance of combining the classical intellectual heritage of Islam with contemporary approaches to create a profile of teachers who can meet the demands of the times while maintaining the moral and spiritual integrity taught by the Islamic tradition. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through a literature review of the works of Ibn Sahnun and Azzarnuji, as well as an analysis of contemporary literature on modern Islamic education. In addition, in-depth interviews with Islamic education experts were also conducted to get a more comprehensive perspective. The results of the study show that the classical values such as example, sincerity, and wisdom taught by Ibn Sahnun and Azzarnuji are still very relevant and can be integrated with modern educational concepts such as professional competence, innovation, and a student-centred approach. The development of the personality of this ideal teacher not only strengthens the morality and spirituality of teachers but also improves the quality of learning that is adaptive to the changing times. The novelty of this study lies in an integrative model that combines classical and modern values, which has not been studied in depth before. The implication of this study is the need to prepare a curriculum and teacher training program that prioritizes a balance between the classical heritage of Islam and the needs of today's education so that it can produce teachers who are academically competent as well as noble in character.

Abstract

Responding to the problem of the character education process has not been maximized, as well as to face the challenges of rapid technological advancement that has given birth to globalization and socio-cultural shifts, Islamic programs are expected to have a positive impact on character education, while the Muhammadiyah Student Association is an organization in which it has an Islamic program. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education in the Islamic program of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Branch of Muhammadiyah Cipanas Senior High School, the inhibiting factors, and also the solutions to overcome them. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection methods in the form of in-depth observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study go through the stages of data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion. The results of this study show that the implementation of character education in the Islamic program of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Branch of Muhammadiyah Cipanas High School includes introductory activities such as FORTASI activities, training activities such as PKDTM 1, and routine activities or habituation such as tadarus. The factors that hinder the implementation of character education in the Islamic program of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Branch of Muhammadiyah Cipanas Senior High School are: 1) Focus on Academic Achievement, 2) Lack of Interesting Religious Learning, 3) Popular Culture Influence, 4) Lack of Model Role, 5) Technological Development, 6) Lack of Parental Participation, and 7) Free Association. The solutions are: 1) Integration of Islamic Values in All Subjects, 2) Development of a Creative Religious Curriculum, 3) Improvement of the Quality of Teachers on Religion, 4) Cooperation with Parents, 5) Utilization of Technology, 6) Formation of Communities/Study Groups, 7) Interesting Religious Activities, and 8) Continuous Evaluation.

Abstract

Data dari Kementerian Agama RI menunjukkan masih terdapat masyarakat muslim di Indonesia yang belum bisa atau belum lancar membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai dengan kaidah tajwid. Padahal membaca Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi beriman kepada kitab-kitab Allah Swt. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini akan menitikberatkan pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru TPQ. Terdapat empat tahapan dalam pengabdian ini seperti perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pendampingan. Pengabdian ini berbentuk kegiatan training dengan peserta guru TPQ yang berada di Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Boyolali. Dalam kegiatan training dipandu oleh narasumber yang berkompeten di dunia TPQ. Bentuk materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan training terdiri dari materi teori dan materi praktek. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat telah sukses dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Boyolali yang dihadiri sebanyak 24 guru TPQ. Peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru TPQ dalam pembelajaran TPQ hingga problem solving dalam mengelola TPQ menunjukkan hasil yang positif dari kegiatan training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan strategi yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru di MTs Muhammadiyah 7 Klego. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang penting dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru diantaranya sebagai edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, serta inovator dan motivator. Metode penelitian ini kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui obervasi, wawancara, serta studi dokumen sehingga diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan kepala sekolah menjalankan peran dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui program-program, seperti study banding, pengiriman guru kedalam kegiatan diklat, serta mengundang pembicara untuk memberikan pembinaan untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran. Proses pengawasan juga menjadi peran yang cukup penting dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan guru, memberikan layanan, bimbingan, arahan dan penghargaan. Selain hal-hal tersebut, terdapat peran kepala sekolah yang juga cukup memiliki dampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui bagaimana kepala sekolah mampu bersikap fleksibel dalam menjalankan perannya, serta bersikap royal kepada guru. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan, peran kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar dalam menungkatkan profesionalitas guru untuk memenuhi standar minimum yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadi pendidik professional.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the Qur'an recitation activities using nahawand rhythm through teacher guidance at SMP Muhammadiyah PK Surakarta. This research is a field research with qualitative type using phenomenon approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was tested by triangulating techniques and triangulating sources. Data analysis begins with the data reduction stage, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) The implementation of Qur'an recitation activities using nahawand rhythm at SMP Muhammadiyah PK Surakarta is an application or implementation that is organized and carried out regularly every day, not just extracurricular activities (2) The purpose of using nahawand rhythm in Qur'an recitation at SMP Muhammadiyah PK Surakarta is so that the school has a characteristic as an Islamic school (3) There are several factors in the implementation of Qur'an recitation activities using nahawand rhythm at SMP Muhammadiyah PK Surakarta, both in the form of inhibiting factors and supporting factors.

Abstract

A leader plays an important role in achieving a group goal, as well as the principal who plays an important role in achieving educational goals. Principals must have excellence and professionalism in order to achieve a goal in education. Therefore, principals must play a role in many areas, starting from the preparation, inspection, and implementation processes contained in the school environment. Improving school quality is one of the goals to be achieved, so to form a quality school the principal must be able to encourage and guide educators to work expertly to improve the quality of students. The purpose of this study is to describe the leadership style applied by the principal and to find out what innovations and achievements have been made by the principal as a pioneer of education in shaping quality schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a field research approach through interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the study mentioned: First, the principal's leadership style at MTs Negeri 1 Surakarta uses a democratic leadership style. Second, the principal plays a lot of roles in the field of student achievement, making innovations in the curriculum and providing digital rooms, digital canteens, digital libraries and digital classes.

Abstract

This community service program was motivated by the ongoing issue of student behaviors at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Boyolali that do not reflect positive character traits aligned with Islamic and Pancasila values in their daily conduct. Although the school already implements moral development programs and routine religious activities, many students still exhibit a lack of discipline, low social awareness, and weak responsibility and ethics in social interactions. To address this issue, a character education workshop was conducted, integrating Islamic and Pancasila values using a participatory-educational and experiential learning approach. The program was carried out in five stages: program coordination, pre-assessment, implementation of the workshop in three sessions (value reflection, moral dilemma simulation, and social action project), post-assessment, and follow-up. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and application of character values. Responsibility increased from 58% to 85%, social concern from 61% to 84%, discipline and ethics from 65% to 88%, and national awareness from 54% to 79%. In addition, student-initiated activities such as “Monday Greeting and Smiling Movement” emerged, indicating a positive behavioral change after the workshop. This program proves that character development is more effective when conducted through reflective, contextual, and experience-based methods. The workshop serves as an applicable solution that encourages students not only to understand but also to internalize and practice Islamic and Pancasila values in their everyday lives.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab ini masih tergolong sangat banyak terutama dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Dari kenyataan yang saat ini terjadi bahasa Arab memiliki sedikit peminat bagi yang mempelajarinya dibandingkan dengan bahasa asing yang lainnya. Banyak siswa yang beranggapan bahwa bahasa Arab lebih rumit untuk dipelajari dibandingkan dengan bahasa Inggris atau bahasa asing lainnya terutama dalam keterampilan berbicara (maharotul kalam). Dalam hal ini guru memilki peran penting dalam menemukan strategi yang tepat digunakan untuk siswa meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab siswa terutama dalam keterampilan berbicara (maharotul kalam) sesuai dengan keadaan siswa di kelas sehingga mampu meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi strategi guru dalam meningkatkan maharotul kalam di MTs. Husnul Khotimah Kuningan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan guru dalam meningkatkan maharotul kalam serta mengidentifkasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat siswa malas berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data yang diperoleh didapat dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah analisis data dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa strategi pembiasaan lingkungan berbahasa dan muhadharah merupakan strategi yang paling efektif dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa MTs. Husnul Khotimah Kuningan.
