Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kata sapaan kekerabatan bahasa Melayu Jambi dialek Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat. jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang mendeskripsikan suatu peristiwa atau gambaran keadaan subjek dalam lingkungan situasi tertentu. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata sapaan yang diucapkan oleh masyarakat Desa Pulau Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Februari 2025 di Desa Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat. Hasil penelitian ditemukan kata sapaan kekerabatan bahasa Melayu Jambi dialek Pulau Tengah meliputi: (1) sapaan terhadap generasi horizontal [0], (2) sapaan terhadap generasi vertikal atas [+1], dan (3) sapaan generasi vertikal bawah [-1]. Kata sapaan nonkekerabatan juga ditemukan antara lain sapaan dalam masyarakat umum, sapaan dalam agama dan sapaan dalam profesi/ jabatan. Kata sapaan kekerabatan dalam bahasa Melayu Jambi dialek Pulau Tengah Kecamatan Jangkat terhadap generasi horizontal [0] khususnya terhadap kakak laki-laki dan sepupu tua laki-laki, serta terhadap generasi vertikal atas khususnya terhadap paman dan bibi, disapa dengan mengarah pada urutan kelahiran, bentuk fisik, dan warna kulit. Abstract

This study examines the psychological dimensions of the main character, Kinan, in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF, through the lens of Freudian psychoanalysis, particularly the constructs of the id, ego, and superego. The research addresses three main questions: (1) How are the id, ego, and superego manifested in Kinan’s character? (2) What psychological problems are portrayed in Kinan’s character? (3) How are defense mechanisms employed by Kinan to cope with internal conflicts? This research adopts a qualitative approach using content analysis. The primary data source is the first edition of the novel published by RDM Publisher in 2020. Data were collected through written documentation and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The findings reveal that Kinan’s character reflects a conflicted id marked by discomfort and unmet needs, an ego dominated by anger, and a superego with high personal moral standards. Five major psychological issues were identified: mood disorders (sadness, anger, disappointment), anxiety, stress, somatoform disorders, and personality disorders (including borderline, obsessive-compulsive, histrionic, narcissistic, and adventitious types). These disorders are further explored through her coping strategies and psychological defense mechanisms, illustrating the complex internal struggles she experiences. The study concludes that Kinan's psychological turmoil serves as a central force driving the narrative conflict.

Abstract

This activity highlights the integration of artificial intelligence in drama appreciation learning at PBSI Merangin University, with a focus on theatrical performances of poems by Wiko Antoni. Through an AI-based interactive approach, students are invited to explore the aesthetic meaning and cultural values in poetry, as well as develop creative expression through digital media. The results of the activity show that technology-based theatrical presentation is able to strengthen literary appreciation and enrich the learning experience.

Abstract

This community service article describes the implementation of tahsin Surah Al-Fatihah through a phonological approach aimed at improving the accuracy of Qur’anic recitation. The activity was conducted at MT. Nurul Khasanah RT 01 with fiveteen participants who were actively involved in Qur’anic learning. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, recitation practice, and documentation. The phonological approach focused on articulatory accuracy, sound differentiation, and pronunciation awareness according to makhraj and sifat al-huruf. The results show that threeteen out of fiveteen participants experienced significant improvement in their recitation accuracy after the tahsin session, particularly in vowel length, consonant articulation, and sound clarity. This program demonstrates that integrating phonological principles into tahsin activities effectively enhances Qur’anic reading quality and linguistic awareness among participants.
