Abstract

Islamic education has diverse forms and systems, adapted to the culture, regulations, and educational policies of each country, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the comparison between Islamic education from the perspective of international and global education in the contemporary era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, which reviews literature from various scholarly sources related to Islamic education, educational internationalization, and globalization. The findings indicate that international education focuses on strengthening cross-country collaboration through student exchange, academic cooperation, and the implementation of international curricula. Meanwhile, global education emphasizes the development of multicultural awareness and the reinforcement of identity as global citizens by integrating global values into the education system. Both have a significant impact on the development of modern Islamic education that is responsive to changes over time. These findings highlight the importance of integrating local and Islamic values with the principles of international and global education to create an Islamic education system that is adaptive, competitive, and contextually relevant in addressing global challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the characteristics of late adolescent development and identify its implications for learning, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Late adolescence is an important transition period towards adulthood marked by significant physical, intellectual, social, emotional, moral, and spiritual changes. To achieve this goal, this study uses a literature study method by reviewing various library sources such as scientific journals, academic books, and relevant articles. The results of the study indicate that late adolescents have complex developmental needs that need to be understood in depth by educators, especially PAI teachers. Understanding these characteristics allows teachers to design learning that is more contextual, holistic, and able to optimally support students' spiritual and moral growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze contextual learning and problem-based learning. This research includes qualitative research. The approach used is purely library research. Data is obtained from reading materials obtained by researchers from books, articles contained in print. The data were collected and sorted to fill in the answers to the formulated research questions. The analysis used a content analysis approach to obtain information related to contextual learning and problem-based learning. The conclusion of this research is that contextual learning is a learning that relates everyday contexts to learning materials so that students are able to interpret the knowledge/skills they learn and can flexibly apply their knowledge/skills from one problem/context to another. The contextual approach involves seven main components of contextual learning, namely: constructivism, discovery, questioning, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. Problem-based learning is one of the appropriate models developed in technology learning to respond to issues of improving the quality of technology learning and anticipating changes that occur in the world of work. Characteristics and learning stages of the Problem-Based Learning model. Problem-based learning is developed primarily to help students develop thinking, problem-solving, and intellectual skills, learn about various adult roles by engaging in real or simulated experiences, and become autonomous and independent learners

Abstract

Technological developments facilitate access to information, but create a dependency that often neglects in-depth analysis of the veracity of information. The ability to analyze information is important to maintain the integrity and credibility of information. This research aims to explore the relationship between philosophy and knowledge as two interrelated scientific domains, in order to understand the role of philosophy in shaping the basics of critical thinking and proper knowledge management. Data were taken from relevant books, journals, and articles, analyzed systematically to find the relationship between philosophy and knowledge. The results showed that philosophy, as the “mother of science,” provides a framework for critical and reflective thinking that underlies the process of knowledge development. Knowledge is generated through the interaction between experience, observation, and rational thought. The research also discusses different types of knowledge based on their patterns and levels, including ordinary, scientific, philosophical, and religious knowledge. Philosophy and knowledge complement each other. Philosophy is a tool to understand the nature of truth, while knowledge is the concrete result of the philosophical process. The combination of the two forms a solid foundation for the analysis of information and the development of science, which ultimately helps humans make wise and responsible decisions amidst the challenges of the times.
