Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a hybrid mentoring model between cooperatives and universities in enhancing the performance of processed food MSMEs in South Tangerang. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with 5 mentored MSMEs, 3 cooperative administrators, and 2 lecturers, along with program document analysis during February-April 2024. Findings indicate that this collaboration successfully increased MSMEs' average revenue by 22% over six months through joint coaching and training-linked financing schemes. Key success factors included the cooperative's allocation of 20% budget for mentoring, flexible training modules, and monthly evaluations by hybrid teams. Implementation challenges such as MSME resistance and communication gaps were overcome through boundary spanners. The study strengthens Contingency Theory by demonstrating the importance of adapting mentoring models to local contexts. Recommendations include establishing collaborative divisions within cooperatives, integrating programs into university curricula, and developing digital platforms by local governments. These findings offer practical contributions for strengthening inclusive and sustainable urban entrepreneurship ecosystems.

Abstract

The Indonesian language plays a strategic role as a national identity and an effective communication tool capable of reaching various segments of society. In the digital era, social media serves as a primary platform for disseminating information and promoting institutions, including higher education institutions. As a competitive institution, STIE Ganesha requires an effective Indonesian-language-based marketing strategy to attract prospective students, maintain a positive institutional image, and enhance its competitiveness amidst intense digital competition. This research is crucial as the mastery and application of the Indonesian language within a digital context significantly influence communication success, especially in reaching a diverse audience. Language misuse can lead to misunderstandings, reduce credibility, and weaken the impact of marketing messages. This study aims to analyze the patterns of Indonesian language use in STIE Ganesha's social media content, identify the strengths and weaknesses in delivering marketing messages, and propose language use strategies that are both grammatically correct and suitable for social media audiences. The expected outcomes include: (1) scientific publication in a SINTA 4-accredited journal, namely the Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IJOMR), Volume 5 Number 1, March 2025; (2) a practical guide for STIE Ganesha's marketing team in optimizing digital communication; and (3) enhancement of institutional image through more professional and engaging social media content.

Abstract

Mosque management in Indonesia still faces challenges such as manual administration, lack of financial transparency, fragmented databases, and limited use of technology. This participatory seminar-based community service (PKM) aimed to empower mosque administrators in East Ciputat through integrated technology solutions. Conducted on July 19, 2025, the program included: (1) needs assessment via FGD and surveys, (2) technical training (Zoho Books, QRIS, PWA), (3) solution design workshops, and (4) follow-up mentoring. Ten key issues were identified, including digital resistance among senior administrators (65%) and low youth involvement. Solutions implemented included a cloud-based QRIS accounting system, a youth digital task force for social media, a centralized database with automated notifications, and a digital RKTM template. Results showed a 120% increase in youth donations, a 60% reduction in report preparation time, and a 45% rise in participation among 18–35-year-olds. The mosque’s digital transformation proved effective through gradual adoption and community mentoring. The study recommends forming a digital DKM forum and promoting data-driven collaboration with universities/government as an adoptable model for traditional mosques

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between business communication competencies obtained during education at STIE Ganesha and success in developing businesses or startups by students. With a focus on twenty students who are active entrepreneurs, this research uses a qualitative approach to collect and analyze data. Through in-depth interviews and content analysis of business communications carried out, this research identifies how communication skills such as negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication contribute to their entrepreneurial success. The research results show that students with higher business communication competencies tend to experience greater success in their entrepreneurial activities. These findings imply the importance of integrating effective business communication training in higher education curricula, especially for students interested in entrepreneurship. It is hoped that further implications of this research will provide insight to educational institutions to develop communication training modules that are more effective and relevant to the needs of the job market.
