Abstract

Anxiety in pregnant women is a mental health problem that has a significant impact on maternal and foetal well-being. Mindfulness-based interventions have been widely investigated as a potential non-pharmacological approach to reduce anxiety during pregnancy. This study aims to review the current literature (2020-2024) on the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions on anxiety in pregnant women. Through a search of PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect databases, using the combined keywords: ‘mindfulness’, ‘pregnancy’, “anxiety”, ‘maternal mental health’, and ‘mindfulness intervention for pregnant women’, as well as Boolean operators such as AND and OR. A total of 34 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analysed using thematic analysis method. The results of the review showed that most of the studies reported a significant reduction in anxiety levels in the group of pregnant women who participated in the mindfulness intervention. This intervention was considered effective, easy to implement, and without side effects. These findings support the use of mindfulness as part of antenatal care services to improve the mental health of pregnant women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas metode demonstrasi dengan peer teaching  dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengisian partograf pada mahasiswi kebidanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, melibatkan 20 mahasiswi yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok pembelajaran. Data keterampilan dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi valid dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square untuk menguji perbedaan efektivitas kedua metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode sama-sama efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pengisian partograf, dengan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p > 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metode demonstrasi dengan peer teaching  dapat digunakan secara efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran dalam pendidikan kebidanan. Implikasi penelitian ini mendukung penerapan kedua metode secara terpadu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi klinis mahasiswa kebidanan.

Abstract

Health is a basic need for everyone. Adolescent mental health is an increasingly pressing global issue. Teenagers are currently vulnerable to various mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and even suicide attempts. The purpose of this community service is to provide information on preventative measures for adolescents who feel they have mental health problems or disorders. The target group for this community service is adolescents aged 14-17. The community service program lasts one day. The approach used is socialization and outreach activities. The activity is carried out offline with lectures during the presentation of the material, a question and answer session to assess participants' understanding, a discussion that includes a dialogue addressing mental health issues and psychological disorders in adolescents, and a video displaying several images as evidence of the incident.

Abstract

Infancy, particularly between the ages of 6 and 12 months, is a critical period in growth and development that requires balanced nutrition. Breast milk remains the primary source of nutrition, but at this age, infants also need complementary foods. The quality of appropriate complementary feeding is influenced by the role of the mother as the primary caregiver, particularly in terms of knowledge, attitudes, skills, and feeding practices. A suboptimal role of the mother can lead to nutritional problems, stunting, and delayed growth and development. Objective: This study aims to review the influence of the mother's role on appropriate complementary feeding in infants aged 6–12 months through a literature review. Methods: This study used a literature review design. Articles were searched through the Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases with a publication range of 2019–2024 using the keywords ‘mother's role’, ‘complementary feeding’, ‘infant feeding’, and ‘6–12 months’. Of the 52 articles found, 10 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analysed narratively based on their thematic suitability, methodology, and relevance to the research topic. Results: The literature analysis showed that the role of mothers greatly influenced the appropriateness of complementary feeding. Mothers' knowledge and positive attitudes are closely related to the choice of food types, frequency of feeding, and the amount of nutritional intake for infants. In addition, health education, nutritional counselling, and family support have been shown to improve mothers' ability to implement complementary feeding practices in accordance with WHO recommendations. Conclusion: The role of mothers is a key factor in the successful provision of appropriate complementary feeding for infants aged 6–12 months. Nutrition education, improved health literacy, and social support are crucial for optimising mothers' practices, thereby ensuring optimal infant growth and development.

Abstract

Masa hospitalisasi pada anak usia prasekolah dapat menyebabkan Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD yang dapat menyebabkan trauma hospitalisasi berkepanjangan bahkan setelah anak beranjak dewasa. Salah satu cara yang efektif untuk mengurangi kecemasan akibat dampak hospitalisasi anak yaitu dengan terapi bermain. Untuk mengetahuai Pengaruh Terapi Bermain Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Pada Anak Selama Hospitalisasi di Ruang Anggrek RSUD dr. H. L. M. Baharuddin, M. Kes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Anggrek RSUD dr. H.L.M.Baharuddin, M.Kes sejak Juli sampai dengan Agustus tahun 2025. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Pra-Eksperimen Design dengan teknik The One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan besar populasi 165 orang dan sampel sebanyak 32 orang purposive sampling di mana penulis akan memilih sendiri sampel yang menjadi responden sesuai yang dikehendaki peneliti. Dengan menggunakan uji statsitik parametrik t-test diperoleh hasil uji t berpasangan didapatkan nilai t-hitung = 6.482 dan nilai P = 0,000. Nilai sig.2-tailed lebih kecil dari pada nilai kritik 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. ada pengaruh sebelum melakukan terapi bermain dan sesudah melakukan terapi bermain terhadap tingkat kecemasan Anak selama hospitalisasi di Ruang Angggrek RSUD dr. H. L. M. Baharuddin, M.Kes tahun 2025. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan agar dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan masukan terutama di bidang keperawatan anak untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan anak dengan melaksanakan program bermain pada anak usia pra sekolah
