Abstract

This study examines how effective group counseling is in improving career maturity and decision-making of students and college students. Approaches such as Trait and Factor, CBT, and CIP as well as creative media such as career bags and IT support the service. The method used was a literature review. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze how effective group counseling services are in improving career readiness and maturity, as well as to determine its effect on learners' self-efficacy, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. The results showed that group counseling improved participants' career maturity, self-efficacy, and future planning, with a significant increase from pretest to posttest. The use of media and technology encouraged creativity and effectiveness of the services, although privacy and ethical issues still need to be addressed, especially for online services. In addition, external elements such as family and social environment influence. Therefore, group counseling-if conducted in a planned, flexible, sustainable, and appropriately evaluated manner-helps participants prepare for their careers.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify various models and techniques of psychomotor assessment in learning, (2) analyze assessment instruments that have been developed in various contexts of education, and (3) formulating recommendations for implementing psychomotor evaluations that are relevant to the Guidance and Counseling Services (BK).  The method used is a literature study by examining 26 journals published in 2013-2025.  The results showed that psychomotor assessment instruments have been widely developed through peer assessment, project based learning, practice demonstrations, rubrics, portfolios, and authentic assessments.  These instruments are generally valid, reliable, practical, and effective in measuring the psychomotor skills of students.  However, assessments in schools are still dominant in cognitive aspects, so that psychomotor aspects receive less attention.  Therefore, this article recommends the integration of psychomotor assessment more balanced with the cognitive and affective domain, both in learning and BK services, so that students not only develop intellectually and emotionally, but also have real skills that are applicable in daily life and the world of work.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of development that is vulnerable to the emergence of various psychological problems, one of which is anxiety. This article aims to examine the dynamics of anxiety in adolescents as well as the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) services in preventive, curative, development, and collaborative efforts in the educational environment. The method used is a literature review by reviewing 18 relevant scientific articles published between 2010–2026, which was obtained through Google Scholar search. The study results show that adolescent anxiety is influenced by internal factors such as self-esteem, body image, personality type, and self-control, as well as external factors such as family support, academic pressure, and social media use. The most consistent and effective interventions in reducing anxiety are the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, social skills training, and expressive therapy such as art therapy. BK services have a strategic role in conducting early detection, providing psychoeducation, carrying out individual and group counseling, and collaborating with teachers and parents to create a supportive environment. Thus, the strengthening of the BK program based on scientific evidence becomes an important step in supporting the mental health of adolescents at school.
