Abstract

The learning process in Vocational High Schools (VHS) aims to prepare graduates to be ready for work and entrepreneurship. However, many VHS graduates remain unemployed. To address this issue, students need skills aligned with job market demands and entrepreneurial competencies. This study aims to develop an entrepreneurial spirit in VHS students through literacy and assess their cognitive abilities. The research was conducted at a vocational school in Jakarta using purposive sampling. The method employed was digital ethnography, focusing on student behavior in digital spaces. Data were collected through digital observation and in-depth interviews with two students. The research process included problem identification, literature review, data collection and analysis, and data presentation.Instilling an entrepreneurial spirit is vital to broaden students' perspectives, spark interest in entrepreneurship, and inspire them through stories of entrepreneurial figures. This transformation is supported by comprehensive and continuous entrepreneurial literacy, enhanced by teacher-led taxonomic assessments of learning activities. The study reveals students’ entrepreneurial spirit through literacy initiatives and provides teachers with insight into students' cognitive dimensions in understanding entrepreneurship. These insights enable teachers to design entrepreneurial learning programs that address all levels of the cognitive taxonomy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model Pembelajaran Picture and picture dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kela IV pada materi IPS Sumber daya alam di SD Negeri 6 Dobo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan model Arikunto. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Dobo yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada kondisi awal hanya ada 3 siswa atau 25% siswa memperoleh nilai 65. Berangkat dari temuan tersebut peneliti berusaha meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS mengunakan model pembelajaran Picture and picture. Pada Siklus I terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dari hasil tes akhir yang diperoleh adalah 8 siswa atau 66% siswa memperoleh nilai 65 sedangkan 4 siswa atau 33,33% memperoleh nilai ≤ 65. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Tindakan pada siklus I memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Akan tetapi, peningkatan tersebut belum dikatakan berhasil. Hal ini dikarenakan presentase siswa yang mencapai kategori minimal baik belum mencapai = 80%. Hasil pengamatan pada siklus II menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 100% atau 12 siswa memiliki hasil belajar dengan kategori minimal baik. Selain itu, hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan siklus II suasana pembelajaran lebih efektif dan optimal . Sebagian besar siswa mulai aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dilihat dari hasil pencapaian belajar siswa kelas IV SD. SD Negeri 6 Dobo, pada mata pelajaran ips materi sumber daya alam, tahun 2020/2021 Ketuntasan minimal (KKM) adalah 65 dengan memperoleh nilai 45% hal ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Dobo pada mata pelajaran IPS materi sumber daya alam masih tergolong rendah ( kurang Berhasil ). Banyak faktor yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar IPS sumber daya alam oleh siswa, salah satunya adalah ketidaktepatan cara (metode,model atau media) pembelajaran yang digunakan guru di kelas. Kenyatan menunjukan bahwa selama ini kebanyakan guru mengunakan model pembelajaran yang bersifat konvensional dan banyak didominasi guru. Pola pembelajaran seperti itu harus diubah dengan cara mengarahkan siswa mencari ilmunya sendiri. Guru hanya sebagai fasilitator, sedangkan siswa harus menemukan konsep-konsep secara mandiri. Salah satu sasaran penelitian melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat siswa pada mata pelajaran yang menarik dan mudah dimengerti, yaitu melalui penyampaian materi IPS dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture sebagai model pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model was applied as a solution to connect teaching materials with students' real-world situations, making learning more meaningful and relevant. This study used an action research approach with two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used included learning outcome tests, observation, and documentation. The minimum passing grade (KKM) was set at 70, with a target success rate of 65% of students passing in Cycle I and 70% in Cycle II. The results of the study showed a significant improvement, with an average score of 91.18% and a mastery level of 100% (17 out of 17 students mastered the material). This improvement proves that the CTL model succeeded in creating a meaningful learning atmosphere and increasing student activity and understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference between learning outcomes before and after using the Kahoot application in social studies lessons in Grade V elementary school. The research used a quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental approach and a non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes and motivation after using Kahoot media in Grade V students at Negeri 01 Fena Fafan Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the numbered head together cooperative learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative research design with a pre-experimental design. The sample used in this study consisted of 20 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Ambon. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used were the N-Gain test, and Normality test. The results showed that: 1) the application of the cooperative learning model type (NHT) was very effective in the learning process, 2) there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills in social studies using the application of the cooperative learning model type (NHT).

Abstract

Use of less diverse learning models and neglect of students' learning styles can lead to inferior social studies learning outcomes in elementary school children and a lack of classroom participation. This study examines how the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model and learning styles affect fifth-grade social studies learning results in Primary School 2 Latihan Ambon. This experiment used a 2x3 factorial analysis and a posttest-only control group. All Primary School 2 Latihan Ambon pupils were studied, with 42 students divided into an experimental class (22 students) using the STAD model and a control class (20 students) using the TGT model, which stands for Teams Games Tournament, another cooperative learning model. A validated learning style questionnaire and learning outcome test were employed. Data was evaluated with a two-way ANOVA. The research findings showed that: (1) The STAD learning model had a significant effect on student learning outcomes (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with the average score of the experimental class (81.667) higher than the control class (63.267). (2) Learning styles have a significant influence on learning outcomes (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), where students with visual learning styles achieved the highest score (84.400), followed by kinesthetic (69.800) and auditory (63.200). (3) There is a significant interaction between learning models and learning styles on student learning outcomes (Sig. 0.002 < 0.05). This study helps educators map student learning styles before choosing a model. These findings also support the STAD cooperative model's ability to boost primary school social studies material achievement.

Abstract

Learning the history of the Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms in Indonesia is often considered boring by elementary school students due to the broad scope of material and conventional teaching methods, which have an impact on low student learning outcomes in class. This study aims to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model on student learning outcomes on the material of the Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms in Indonesia for fifth-grade students at Elementary School 1 Passo. This type of research is an experimental study with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population included all fifth-grade students of Elementary School 1 Passo, totaling 38 students, consisting of class V-a as the experimental group (19 students) and class V-b as the control group (19 students). The research instrument used a learning outcome test in the form of 30 multiple-choice questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used an independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 12.053 points higher than that of the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Course Review Horay learning model significantly improves student learning outcomes on the Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms topic. This research contributes to elementary school teachers' implementation of a fun and interactive cooperative learning model. The CRH model has been proven to create a conducive learning environment to improve students' understanding of narrative history material.
