Abstract

The use of proper Indonesian grammar in office management plays a crucial role in supporting professionalism and the effectiveness of internal and external communication within an organization. This research aims to identify common forms of linguistic errors found in office administrative documents, such as errors in the use of capital letters, separation of the prefix 'di', word choice, and the incorrect use of punctuation marks according to the rules. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with literature study techniques, supplemented by documentation of several examples of official letters and interviews with office administrative staff to obtain empirical data. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively through a process of classifying types of errors, interpreting contexts, and studying the impact of linguistic errors on the image of professionalism. The research results show that grammatical errors can lower the credibility and professional impression of the institution. Conversely, the application of correct grammar improves information clarity, communication efficiency, and strengthens the institution's image. Therefore, this study recommends the importance of structured Indonesian grammar training and the establishment of an internal editing team as a strategy to improve the quality of official documents in the office work environment

Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the digital marketing capacity of SMEs at Simpang Odah Etam (SOE) through the implementation of an interactive web based promotional platform. Using participatory methods, the team worked directly with selected vendors to conduct digital mapping and prototype development. The intervention involved observation, interviews, and the development of digital map website using AI based design tools. The result was an increased awareness among vendors of digital business strategies and a web prototype used to promote vendors locations and products. The strategy also involved collaboration with the local toursim offince and media partners to amplify reach.

Abstract

Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan merupakan salah satu daerah rawan bencana banjir di Indonesia. Tingginya intensitas hujan pada pertengahan bulan Januari 2021 di beberapa wilayah tersebut menjadi salah satu pemicu terjadinya banjir. Desa Murung Kenanga merupakan salah satu kawasan yang turut dilanda banjir. Wilayah Desa Murung Kenanga diapit oleh Sungai Martapura di kedua sisinya, sehingga cukup sering dilanda banjir karena kenaikan permukaan air sungai. Selain itu, banjir di Desa Murung Kenanga disebabkan oleh tingginya curah hujan di bulan Januari 2021. Adanya kejadian banjir menyebabkan masyarakat harus menanggung kerugian ekonomi, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi nilai kerugianekonomi akibat banjir di Desa Murung Kenanga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerugian terbesar yang diderita masyarakat terdiri atas biaya kehilangan pendapatan dan biaya kehilangan peralatan rumah tangga. Total kerugian ekonomi masyarakat akibat banjir pada tahun 2021 sebesar Rp 4.191.344.608. South Kalimantan province was one of the flood-prone areas in Indonesia. The high intensity of rain in mid-january 2021 was one of the triggers for flooding. Murung Kenanga Village was one of the areas that was also hit by the floods. The Murung Kenanga Village area was flanked by the Martapura River on both sides, so that it was frequently hit by floods due to rising river levels. In addition, the floods in Murung Kenanga Village was caused by high rainfall in january 2021. The occurrence of floods caused the community to bear economic losses, both directly and indirectly. This studied aims to estimate the valued of economic losses of flooding in murung kenanga village. The results showed that the biggest losses suffered by the community consist of the costed of lost income, the costed of building repairs, and the costed of losing household equipment. The total economic loss to the community due to the flood in 2021 amounted to 4.191.344.608 IDR.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Saving activities are important to form habits in managing positive finances, it is highly recommended to be taught to children from an early age. The habit of saving for children is not only to save money, but saving also involves the process of learning to manage finances, self-control, and planning for the future. By saving children, they become more responsible and do not have a consumptive nature. The purpose of this activity is to teach 4th grade students of SDN Panyaweuyan about the importance of saving as a form of self-control and being able to distinguish between wants and needs in using their pocket money. This activity was carried out on February 24, 2025 and was attended by 32 students from grade 4 of SDN Panyaweuyan. To determine the success of this activity, the implementation team conducted measurements using a qualitative approach with random interview observation and a quantitative approach with questionnaires. Observations that have been made show that saving at school is not the desire of students, but the initiative of the students' parents. The activity began with a pre-test using the adaptation of the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS) measuring tool using a likert scale for 30 minutes. Next, socialization about the difference between wants and needs, followed by the game "Desire vs Need", then continued with a quiz with rewards, and finally making a dream piggy bank. After the series of activities is completed, it will be closed with a post-test to evaluate changes in students' understanding and habits. The results show that the savings program as a form of self-control still does not have a consistent impact on improving self-control scores. Saving programs as a form of self-control need to be carried out in a sustainable manner with a long-term formation strategy. Keywords: saving, self-control, wants, needs ABSTRAK Kegiatan menabung penting untuk membentuk pembiasaan dalam mengelola finansial yang positif, sangat dianjurkan untuk diajarkan kepada anak-anak sejak usia dini. Kebiasaan menabung bagi anak tidak hanya untuk menyimpan uang, akan tetapi menabung juga melibatkan proses belajar mengelola keuangan, pengendalian diri, dan perencanaan untuk masa depan. Dengan menabung anak menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab dan tidak memiliki sifat yang konsumtif. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini untuk mengajarkan siswa kelas 4 SDN Panyaweuyan tentang pentingnya menabung sebagai bentuk pengendalian diri (Self-Control) serta dapat membedakan antara keinginan (wants) dan kebutuhan (needs) dalam menggunakan uang sakunya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 Februari 2025 dan diikuti oleh 32 siswa kelas 4 SDN Panyaweuyan. Untuk mengetahui keberhasilan kegiatan ini, tim pelaksana melakukan pengukuran menggunakan pendekatan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi wawancara secara acak dan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuesioner. Observasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa menabung di sekolah bukan keinginan dari siswa, melainkan inisiatif orang tua para siswa. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pre-test menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS) dengan menggunakan skala likert selama 30 menit. Selanjutnya sosialisasi tentang perbedaan keinginan dan kebutuhan, diikuti dengan permainan “Keinginan vs Kebutuhan”, lalu dilanjutkan dengan quiz dengan reward, dan yang terakhir membuat celengan impian. Setelah rangkaian kegiatan selesai akan ditutup dengan post-test untuk mengevaluasi perubahan pemahaman dan kebiasaan siswa. Hasil menunjukan bahwa program menabung sebagai bentuk pengendalian diri masih belum memberikan dampak yang konsisten terhadap peningkatan skor pengendalian diri. Program menabung sebagai bentuk pengendalian diri perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan strategi pembentukan dalam jangka panjang. Kata kunci: menabung, pengendalian diri, keinginan, kebutuhan
