Abstract

Abstract : The existing lamongan Sub-Province is executing autonomy Daerah, so request of information about development of area lamongan hardly is required. But constraint faced is gathering of the information from various sectors relating to geographical position from it area . so consequence triggers to give complete presentation of geographical information , accurate and safe. Hence its the solution is with making geospatial  information system, which is aliance data at map and its(the information), information consisted of  form  database, tables, data thematic at map and photo. By Using SIG to assists Local Government Lamongan in planning of area as according to information to phase here in after. Abstract

ABSTRAK Jaringan virtual yang Kumpulan beberapa komputer bahkan jutaan komputer, disebut dengan jaringan komputer bisa berupa jaringan lokal maupun interlokal, jaringan lokal atau disebut dengan LAN (Lokal Area Network) dan jaringan interlokal atau disebut dengan internet. Layanan internet merupakan fasilitas yang tidak akan bisa lepas dari kehidupan manusia sehingga diperlukan suatu cara untuk memanfaatkan internet dengan maksimal. Virtual Private Network (VPN) merupakan suatu cara untuk membuat sebuah jaringan bersifat “private” dan aman dengan menggunakan jaringan publik misalnya internet. VPN dapat mengirim data antara dua komputer yang melewati jaringan publik sehingga seolah-olah terhubung secara point to point. Data dienkapsulasi (dibungkus) dengan header yang berisi informasi routing untuk mendapatkan koneksi point to point sehingga data dapat melewati jaringan publik dan dapat mencapai akhir tujuan. Sedangkan untuk mendapatkan koneksi private, data yang dikirimkan harus di enkripsi terlebih dahulu untuk menjaga kerahasiaannya sehingga paket yang tertangkap ketika melewati jaringan publik tidak terbaca karena harus melewati proses dekripsi. Proses enkapsulasi data sering disebut “tunneling”. Server yang berada dikantor bisa diakses melalui VPN dimanapun, kapanpun dengan aman, meskipun menggunakan infrastruktur jaringan internet dalam penggunaannya. Menurut pandangan user, kneksi VPN merupakan koneksi point to point antara user komputer dengan server korporasi dan data terkirim diatas jaringan “dedicated”, padahal tidak demikian kenyataannya. keywords : Virtual Private Network, Jaringan komputer, Tunneling, Point to point

Abstract

Mangrove forest is one of the important ecosystems in Karimunjawa, Indonesia. It provides a variety of services both ecologically and economically. However, over-exploited activity, such as timber theft, can be threatening the sustainability of mangrove forest in Karimunjawa now and in the future. Thus, the improved management for mangrove forest is necessary to ensure its sustainability, and it is depending on how people value the conservation from economic and environment consideration. This study examines the factors influencing on the willingness to pay (WTP) of respondents for mangrove restoration in Karimunjawa. A total of 502 respondents were interviewed using census method. The method employed is Contingent Valuation Method (CVM)Single Bounded. In CVM, the logit model was defined based on dichotomous choice method to estimate the willingness-to-pay (WTP) randomly with three different starting bid value. Findings showed that local awareness of the importance of the values given by mangroves was popularized among local communities. The findings also indicated that respondents who are higher education and have more income were more likely to pay for the mangrove restoration.

Regional Development encompasses many aspect of economic, social, and environmental attributes. In the context of developing country, the decision to fulfill these attributes are often hindered by lack of clear development scenarios and constraints. This study is an attempt to capture the complexity of decision makers for regional development scenarios using imprecise decision modeling (IDM) by incorporating imprecise information and uncertainties. A series of social, economic and environmental criteria based on agreement from multi stakeholders dialogues were developed along with four policy development scenarios. Results from such a modeling provides variety of decision alternatives based on probabilities and risk assessment associated with achieving policy objectives.

Abstract

Nearly the end of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) era, bring back ideas for looking international development goals. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is one of them. In this study, sustainable development has defined as the balance of economic, social and environmental. The achievement of sustainable development is measured by using two different approaches, partial and composite indicator. Partial development indicators showed progress in economic and social dimensions. However, progress in these areas seems to put pressure on the environment. Sustainable Development Index (IPB), which is a composite of GDP, HDI and IKLH (Environmental Quality Index) also gives the same message. By using a balance between dimensions of development technique, as chosen scenario, sustainable development in Indonesia reached about two-thirds of the maximum target. Hight progress in economic and social ultimately corrected by environmental degradation.

Abstract

Coastal communities are known to prone to vulnerability arising from their nature of work. As they are mostly working as fishermen, natural hazards, isolation and climate variabilities are often constraining their ability to obtain sufficient income to support their livelihood. Hence, finding sustainable alternatives source of income is a sensible way to cope with such uncertainty and vulnerability. Achieving sustainable income, nevertheless, is challenging issue since it is affected by various factors from socio-economic as well as institutional perspectives. This paper is an attempt to assess the issue of alternative livelihood by identifying key variables affecting its sustainability. A MICMAC method was used and key variables from the analysis were then identified to support sustainable alternative livelihood in the communities. Lessons learned were also drawn from this study for policy makers and fisheries authorities in the regions.
