Abstract

Education has a strategic role in the development of a nation, especially in the era of globalization and digital transformation that demands innovation in education management. This context refers to education financing which is considered a vital instrument to support the improvement of the quality of school leadership. The theoretical framework adopted includes the principles of education management and financial governance theory, thus providing a comprehensive understanding of the financing mechanism and its impact on leadership effectiveness. This study aims to find a financing model based on transparency, integration, and sustainability in improving the performance of school principals. This study highlights the strategic role of fund allocation in managerial decision making and program innovation at SDN Loa 1, Paseh District. A case study approach with qualitative methods was used in this study. Data were collected through observation methods, in-depth interviews, and relevant financial documents and financing policies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of a structured financing model significantly improves the principal's ability to manage the budget, design education programs, and make strategic decisions; Several obstacles, such as limited resources, uneven distribution of funds, and weaknesses in internal supervision that hinder the optimization of fund use. The conclusion of this study is that an effective financing model can be the main catalyst for improving school leadership performance.

Abstract

This training aims to enhance teachers' competencies in analyzing learning situations using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, 25 teachers from various schools in Pacet Subdistrict, Bandung Regency, participated in this program. The training lasted three days and was designed to equip teachers with strategic skills to evaluate teaching conditions comprehensively, including identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the local context. The training process included theoretical discussions, group simulations, and individual evaluations, providing hands-on experience for participants. The results showed significant improvements in teachers' reflective and practical abilities to apply SWOT analysis. Teachers developed innovative and adaptive learning strategies based on in-depth analysis of their respective classroom situations. This training also encouraged collaboration among teachers in identifying creative solutions to complex teaching challenges. This article discusses the training stages, the outcomes achieved, and its benefits for teacher professional development. The implications are relevant for planning and implementing educational strategies in the future. This training contributes to improving education quality through a measurable strategic and reflective analysis-based approach. ABSTRAKPelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menganalisis situasi pembelajaran menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, 25 guru dari berbagai sekolah di Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Bandung, terlibat dalam program ini. Pelatihan berlangsung tiga hari dan dirancang untuk membekali guru dengan keterampilan strategis dalam mengevaluasi kondisi pembelajaran secara menyeluruh, termasuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dalam konteks lokal. Proses pelatihan mencakup diskusi teoritis, simulasi kelompok, dan evaluasi individu, memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan reflektif dan praktis guru dalam menerapkan analisis SWOT. Guru merancang strategi pembelajaran inovatif dan adaptif berdasarkan analisis mendalam terhadap situasi kelas masing-masing. Pelatihan ini juga mendorong kolaborasi antarguru dalam mengidentifikasi solusi kreatif untuk tantangan pembelajaran yang kompleks. Artikel ini membahas tahapan pelatihan, hasil yang dicapai, dan manfaatnya terhadap pengembangan profesional guru. Implikasi yang dihasilkan relevan untuk perencanaan dan implementasi strategi pendidikan di masa depan. Pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui pendekatan berbasis analisis strategis dan reflektif yang terukur.

Abstract

Learning loss is a major challenge for non-formal education in the post-pandemic era, especially in PKBM serving learners from low socioeconomic backgrounds with limited facilities and minimal family support. This study aims to analyze the decision-making process of the Head of PKBM Qiyya Sentosa in determining effective learning models to overcome learning loss. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, document studies, and FGD. The results show that the Head of PKBM identifies learning loss through achievement and attendance evaluation, then formulates alternative solutions such as blended and project-based learning. Decision-making is carried out in consultation with the team and stakeholders before implementation. The blended project-based learning model has proven to improve student motivation, engagement, and achievement, although challenges remain in digital access and student time constraints. The study concludes the importance of adaptive leadership, data-driven decisions, and community collaboration in developing effective learning models in PKBM. These findings can serve as a reference for other PKBM and policymakers in strategies to address learning loss. ABSTRAKLearning loss menjadi tantangan utama pendidikan non-formal pada masa pascapandemi COVID-19, terutama di PKBM yang melayani peserta didik dari latar belakang sosial ekonomi rendah dengan keterbatasan sarana dan dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pengambilan keputusan Kepala PKBM Qiyya Sentosa dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang efektif guna mengatasi learning loss. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, studi dokumentasi, dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepala PKBM melakukan identifikasi learning loss melalui evaluasi capaian belajar dan absensi, kemudian merumuskan solusi alternatif seperti blended learning dan project-based learning. Pengambilan keputusan dilakukan secara musyawarah bersama tim dan stakeholder sebelum implementasi. Implementasi blended project-based learning terbukti meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan capaian belajar peserta didik, meskipun masih dihadapkan pada kendala keterbatasan perangkat digital dan waktu luang peserta didik. Simpulan menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan adaptif, pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta kolaborasi komunitas dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran efektif di PKBM. Temuan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi PKBM lain dan pemangku kebijakan dalam strategi penanggulangan learning loss.
