Abstract

Dalam lingkup akademik, pencapaian mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan internal, di mana internal locus of control memainkan peran kunci dalam keberhasilan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas serta reliabilitas skala pengukuran internal locus of control pada mahasiswa Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner daring. Validasi isi dilakukan menggunakan metode Content Validity Index (CVI) AIKEN dengan 12 ahli psikologi, sedangkan reliabilitas diuji menggunakan koefisien Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 71 item valid dari 100 item awal, dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,920 yang mengindikasikan konsistensi internal skala yang sangat baik. Dalam penelitian ini juga digunakan model CFA untuk  mendapatkan informasi apakah item-item konstruk alat ukur skala Internal Locus of Control  ini bersifat unidimensional, hasil uji dengan model CFA ini menunjukan bahwa dari 71 item yang valid terdapat 22 item yang “fit” .Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah menyediakan instrumen psikometrik yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur internal locus of control mahasiswa, yang dapat digunakan dalam penelitian psikologi pendidikan dan pengembangan intervensi akademik.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention needs to be considered by the Indonesian government when creating entrepreneurs, especially among students who have the potential to become entrepreneurs. Two psychological variables influence entrepreneurial intention in students. This study aims to test the effect of perceived behavioral control on entrepreneurial intention by involving self-efficacy as a mediator variable. This study uses a quantitative method, using Hayes' Process Macro analysis and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The research subjects involved in this study were 199 active students. This study obtained a BootLLCI value of 0.1576, which is greater than BootULCI 0.418, which shows that self-efficacy does have a significant influence as a mediator between perceived behavioral control and entrepreneurial intention in students. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding to researchers and practitioners, especially in educational institutions, about the development of entrepreneurial intention by considering psychological factors in students.

Abstract

The growing phenomenon of internet use among students has brought both positive and negative impacts on their lives. One of the negative impacts that has begun to emerge is internet addiction, which is characterized by excessive use that interferes with social and emotional aspects. Students experiencing internet addiction are suspected to have lower emotional management abilities. This study aims to determine the influence of internet addiction on emotional intelligence among students at SMK Muhammadiyah Sangasanga. The research employed a quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis. The subjects consisted of 226 students selected through total sampling technique. The instruments used were the Internet Addiction Scale (18 items) and the Emotional Intelligence Scale (26 items). The results showed a significant negative effect of internet addiction on emotional intelligence, with a regression coefficient of -0.718 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.430 indicates that 43% of the variance in emotional intelligence is influenced by internet addiction. Thus, the higher the level of internet addiction, the lower the level of emotional intelligence among students.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in the prevalence of emotional disorders both in the world and in Indonesia. The presence of Third-Wave therapies is rapidly growing due to their effectiveness in treating various emotional disorders. Therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) provide space for individuals to adapt to negative feelings and thoughts without avoiding them. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with Scopus reputable journal criteria from one to three within the last 10 years, the use of PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses), which aims to get a quality understanding based on quality-tested sources. The result is that psychological flexibility in Third-Wave refers to an individual's ability to adapt to thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in internal experiences and maladaptive behavior patterns by not trying to change or fight them. Thus, one of the main components of the Third-Wave is Psychological Flexibility. This research also shows that the impact of the Third-Wave is not only to reduce symptoms or disorders but also to improve quality of life. Individuals who can accept things as they are, manage stress and anxiety in a better way. AbstrakPada beberapa tahun terakhir, terjadinya peningkatan prevalensi gangguan emosional baik di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Hadirnya terapi gelombang ketiga (Third-Wave) yang pesat berkembangnya di karena efektifitasnya dalam menangani berbagai gangguan emosional. Terapi seperti Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) dan Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) yang dimana dalam terapi ini memberikan ruang bagi individu untuk beradaptasi dengan perasaan dan pikiran negatif tanpa menghindarinya. Metode yang digunakan merupakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan kriteria Jurnal bereputasi Scopus dari 1 sampai 3 dalam rentang waktu 10 tahun terakhir, penggunaan PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) yang bertujuan agar mendapatkan pemahaman yang berkualitas berdasarkan sumber yang teruji kualitasnya. Hasil dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa fleksibilitas psikologis pada Third-Wave yang mengacu pada kemampuan individu untuk beradaptasi dengan pikiran dan perasaan tanpa terjebak pada pengalaman internal dan pola perilaku yang maladaptive dengan tidak berusaha mengubah atau melawannya. Sehingga salah satu komponen utama dalam Third-Wave adalah Psychological Flexibility. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan dampak dari Third-Wave tidak hanya mengurangi gejala atau gangguan saja tetapi juga meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Individu yang dapat menerima apa adanya, mengelola stress dan kecemasan dengan cara yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Student career readiness is one of the factors that contribute to the high level of educated unemployment, including in psychology students who have a variety of career path options but lack of directed planning. This activity aims to increase the understanding and career readiness of psychology students through structured career path education. The method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test one group    design through career path education training for 74 S1 students of the Psychology Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah East Kalimantan. Activities were carried out through lectures, audio-visual media, interactive discussions, and reflections, with evaluations using measurements of career readiness and understanding before and after training. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in students' understanding and career readiness, an average increase of 11.5 points after treatment/intervention, characterized by clarity of career direction and reduced confusion in determining career choices. Career path education is effective as a strategy to strengthen the readiness of psychology students in facing the world of work.Kesiapan karier mahasiswa merupakan salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap tingginya tingkat pengangguran terdidik, termasuk pada mahasiswa psikologi yang memiliki beragam pilihan jalur karier namun masih kurang dalam perencanaan yang terarah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan karier mahasiswa psikologi melalui pendidikan jalur karier yang terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre-test dan post-test melalui pelatihan pendidikan jalur karier pada 74 mahasiswa S1 Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, media audio-visual, diskusi interaktif, dan refleksi, dengan evaluasi menggunakan pengukuran kesiapan dan pemahaman karier sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesiapan karier mahasiswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 11,5 poin setelah perlakuan/intervensi, yang ditandai dengan kejelasan arah karier dan berkurangnya kebingungan dalam menentukan pilihan karier. Pendidikan jalur karier terbukti efektif sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat kesiapan mahasiswa psikologi dalam menghadapi dunia kerja.
