Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide assistance to the community of Blabak Village, Pesantren District, Kediri City about the importance of Parenting Education (Parenting) for parents of elementary school-age children. This activity was attended by 23 mothers of posyandu and PKK cadres who have elementary school-age children and was carried out on March 8, 2023. The method used in this service activity consists of a planning stage, namely observing the needs of the community in Blabak village so that problems related to parenting are obtained, an implementation stage with the delivery of material and questions and answers about parenting and an evaluation stage regarding filling out questionnaires by mentoring participants regarding parenting. Through this activity, it was found that the community who participated in the activity gave a positive response, and even hoped that the activity could be carried out on an ongoing basis so that more knowledge could be obtained related to parenting patterns of parents of elementary school-age children, so that with the right parenting patterns can make children become good characters.

Abstract

The background of this research is the results of observations, interviews, and distribution of student needs analysis questionnaires in class IV SDN Bulusari 3, class IV students have difficulty understanding abstract material, especially on magnetic force material due to lack of teacher creativity in teaching. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia on magnetic force material to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students. The research was conducted using the Educational Design Research (EDR) method with formative evaluation with the Tessmer model. The score obtained from media expert validation is 77.75% with a valid category and material expert validation is 93.75% with a very valid category. The score obtained from the teacher's response was 100% with a very practical category while from the one-to-one student response 97.25%, small group 95.75%, and field test 96.50% with a very practical category. The scores obtained from one-to-one student test questions were 100% complete, small group 100% complete, and field test 91.30% complete with a very effective category. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia for class IV SDN Bulusari 3 is declared valid, practical, and effective so that it can be used to support learning activities. ABSTRAKLatar belakang dari penelitian ini merupakan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket análisis kebutuhan siswa di kelas IV SDN Bulusari 3, siswa kelas IV mengalami kesulitan memahami materi yang bersifat abstrak terutama pada materi gaya magnet karena kurangnya kreativitas guru dalam mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif pada materi gaya magnet untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan métode Development Studies dengan formative evaluation model Tessmer. Skor yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli media 77,75% dengan kategori valid dan validasi ahli materi 93,75% dengan kategori sangat valid. Skor yang diperoleh dari respon guru 100% dengan kategori sangat praktis sedangkan dari respon siswa one-to-one 97,25%, small group 95,75%, dan field test 96,50% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Skor yang diperoleh dari soal tes siswa one-to-one 100% tuntas, small group 100% tuntas, dan field test 91,30% tuntas dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif untuk kelas IV SDN Bulusari 3 dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran.
