Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the values of the Pancasila Student Profile through extracurricular dance activities at SD Negeri Wates 01. The Pancasila Student Profile consists of six main dimensions: having faith in and devotion to God Almighty with noble character; independence; critical thinking; creativity; collaboration; and global diversity. Extracurricular dance activities were chosen as a strategic medium for instilling these values, as traditional dance involves cultural appreciation, cooperation, discipline, and self-expression. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results show that the extracurricular dance program effectively fosters the values of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the areas of religious character, independence, teamwork, and global diversity. However, the dimensions of critical thinking and creativity still require further development. The implementation of this program is supported by thorough planning, structured execution, and regular evaluations involving the principal and extracurricular supervisors. In conclusion, the extracurricular dance program at SDN Wates 01 serves as an effective platform for strengthening students' character in line with Pancasila values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of instructional phrases in bilingual learning at the elementary school level. Using a literature study method and a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines various relevant literature and previous research results. The results of the study indicate that instructional phrases have an important role in creating a conducive bilingual learning environment, building meaningful interactions, and supporting students' academic understanding. Phrases such as class commands, task instructions, feedback, and activity transitions have been shown to make it easier for students to understand the context of bilingual learning. The challenges in its implementation are the limited competence of teachers in English, the diversity of students' language abilities, and the need for differentiation strategies. Therefore, teacher training, the use of linguistic approaches, and strategies such as translanguaging and Total Physical Response (TPR) are the suggested solutions. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of effective bilingual learning practices in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is driven by the limited application of technology-based learning media in social studies education in elementary schools, which results in decreased student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aims to design an Augmented Reality-based snakes and ladders game media and evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students regarding the diversity of flora and fauna in Indonesia. The methodology used is Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model, which includes phases such as needs assessment, product design, expert validation, revision, and product trials. The research participants consisted of fifth-grade elementary school students involved in small-scale and large-scale trials. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and assessment of learning outcomes through pretest and posttest instruments. The results showed that the media achieved a very feasible classification based on validation by media experts (93.75%) and subject matter experts (87.5%). Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (significance <0.05), as well as a high category of N-Gain values in both small-scale and large-scale trials. Therefore, the snakes and ladders game media based on Augmented Reality has proven effective as an innovative educational alternative to improve science learning outcomes among elementary school students.
