Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of bilingual learning resources in improving the quality of primary education. Using a literature review method, this article examines previous research related to the implementation of bilingual education, particularly focusing on teacher readiness, student engagement, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. The findings indicate that the success of bilingual learning heavily relies on teachers' competence in delivering instruction in two languages, the use of contextual and enjoyable learning approaches for students, and the availability of adaptive media and curriculum. This article recommends strengthening teacher training, encouraging active student participation, and optimizing the use of local resources and technology as solutions to the challenges faced in implementing bilingual education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the values of the Pancasila Student Profile through extracurricular dance activities at SD Negeri Wates 01. The Pancasila Student Profile consists of six main dimensions: having faith in and devotion to God Almighty with noble character; independence; critical thinking; creativity; collaboration; and global diversity. Extracurricular dance activities were chosen as a strategic medium for instilling these values, as traditional dance involves cultural appreciation, cooperation, discipline, and self-expression. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results show that the extracurricular dance program effectively fosters the values of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the areas of religious character, independence, teamwork, and global diversity. However, the dimensions of critical thinking and creativity still require further development. The implementation of this program is supported by thorough planning, structured execution, and regular evaluations involving the principal and extracurricular supervisors. In conclusion, the extracurricular dance program at SDN Wates 01 serves as an effective platform for strengthening students' character in line with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Arabic vocabulary learning at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level continues to face several challenges, including students' low memory retention, the use of monotonous teaching methods, and limited access to interactive learning media. At MI Nurul Falah Muaro Jambi, these issues are evident among sixth-grade students who struggle to understand and retain vocabulary. This study aims to develop an interactive barcode-based Arabic vocabulary learning medium, assess its validity, and evaluate its effectiveness in improving students’ vocabulary mastery. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which encompasses the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation, classroom observation, learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results indicate that the developed learning medium achieved an average validity score of 88.4%, categorized as “highly valid and feasible.” Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with average scores rising from 51.1 on the pre-test to 86.4 on the post-test. These findings suggest that the interactive barcode-based learning medium is not only valid but also effective in enhancing Arabic vocabulary acquisition at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. The implication is that simple technologies such as barcodes can serve as innovative solutions that support improved learning outcomes, student motivation, and learner autonomy, while aligning with the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Lebih dari 40% masyarakat Indonesia telah menerima vaksin COVID-19 dosis lengkap, yang mana telah berhasil melampaui target WHO. Namun konfirmasi positif COVID-19 masih terus bertambah. Di Kecamatan Tuban banyak ditemui masyarakat yang tidak menerapkan protokol kesehatan pasca vaksinasi COVID-19 terutama memakai masker dan menjaga jarak yang mana hal tersebut termasuk faktor penyebab penularan COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dan perilaku masyarakat pasca vaksinasi COVID-19 terhadap penerapan protokol kesehatan di Kecamatan Tuban. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh masyarakat Kecamatan Tuban yang telah divaksin COVID-19 minimal dosis 1, besar sampel 96 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner berupa link google form. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian diolah dan ditabulasi secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar masyarakat memiliki persepsi negatif, hampir seluruh masyarakat memiliki perilaku kurang, dan hampir seluruh masyarakat yang berperilaku kurang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap penerapan protokol kesehatan pasca vaksinasi COVID-19. Dengan persepsi negatif dan perilaku kurang dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan dapat menyebabkan penularan COVID-19. Untuk itu diperlukan sosialisasi terkait pentingnya penerapan protokol kesehatan pasca vaksinasi COVID-19 terutama memakai masker dan menjaga jarak saat berada di tempat umum.
