Abstract

Just-In-Time (JIT) is an inventory management strategy that aims to reduce waste and increase efficiency in the production process. In the context of manufacturing companies, the implementation of JIT offers significant advantages, such as reduced inventory costs and improved product quality. However, the implementation of JIT also faces challenges, including dependence on suppliers and fluctuations in demand. This article not only discusses the benefits and challenges of JIT, but also presents case studies of several companies that have successfully implemented this concept. By highlighting best practices and risk mitigation strategies, it is hoped that this research can provide deeper insights into the application of JIT in inventory management, as well as encourage companies to adopt a more responsive and efficient approach in their operations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Solok Regency Fire Department. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach using a questionnaire. The number of respondents was 53 Fire Department employees. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely 1) Validity test was tested with Pearson correlation (r count r table). 2) Reliability was tested with Cronbach Alpha ( 0.60 is considered reliable). 3) Normality test to determine whether the data is normally distributed or not 4) T test to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. 5) F test to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance. 6) Coefficient of Determination (R) to determine how much the independent variable contributes to explaining the dependent variable. Effective leadership, demonstrated by exemplary attitudes, open communication, and participatory decision-making, as well as a conducive work culture such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, has been shown to increase employee productivity and work quality. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions in efforts to improve the performance of local government apparatus.

Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely 1) Validity Test was tested with Pearson correlation (r count > r table). 2) Reliability tested with Cronbach Alpha (> 0.60 is considered reliable). 3) Normality Test to find out whether the data is normally distributed or not 4) T test to find out the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. 5) F test to determine the influence of Service Quality and Facilities simultaneously on Patient Satisfaction of Darmasraya Regency Hospital. 6) Coefficient of Determination (R²) to find out how much contribution independent variables contribute in explaining dependent variables. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been stated above, the following conclusions can be drawn:. 1) The Service Quality Variable affects Patient Satisfaction at Darmasraya Hospital. This means that the better the quality of service, the higher the level of Patient Satisfaction. 2) Facility variables have a positive effect on Patient Satisfaction at Darmasraya Hospital.
