Abstract

The development of AI technology has brought significant innovation to the world of education, simplifying activities and supporting the learning process. However, the adoption of AI in schools is hampered by suboptimal teacher skills, limited technological facilities, funding, human resources, and internet access. As a result, many teachers are less responsive to the use of technology, even though school administration is now shifting to online systems and communication technology contributes significantly to education. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct outreach at SMK Negeri 1 Nisam, North Aceh. The aim of the outreach is to provide understanding and education regarding the use of AI in the learning process in the digital era for participants consisting of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Nisam, North Aceh through outreach activities. In this outreach activity, there is also direct practice in the use of several AI applications so that participants can utilize them in the future learning process. This activity was carried out independently and in collaboration between Lecturers from Esa Unggul University, Lecturers from STAI Ar-Ridho Bagansiapiapi, Lecturers from UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah Lhokseumawe and students. The outreach included a site survey, problem identification, direct education, and evaluation at SMK Negeri 1 Nisam, North Aceh Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pesan-pesan dakwah yang terkandung dalam film drama Malaysia berjudul Curi-Curi Cinta karya Siti Rosmizah. Film ini dipilih karena alur ceritanya yang dinilai mengandung nilai-nilai akidah, syariat, dan akhlak yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah Semiotika Roland Barthes, yang berfokus pada tiga tingkatan makna: denotasi (makna harfiah), konotasi (makna yang muncul dari hubungan penanda dan petanda), dan mitos (makna ideologis atau budaya yang lebih dalam). Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan dokumentasi (melalui screenshot adegan, dialog, dan ekspresi) dari 28 episode film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Curi-Curi Cinta mengandung berbagai pesan dakwah yang dibagi menjadi tiga kategori: 1) Pesan Akidah dan Ibadah (Keimanan): Meliputi kewajiban sholat, taubat dan perubahan diri, pentingnya mendapatkan keridhaan ibu, serta larangan menyekutukan Allah (syirik). 2) Pesan Syariat (Keislaman): Meliputi kewajiban menutup aurat, larangan bersentuhan dengan lawan jenis non-mahram, pentingnya mengucapkan salam, dan anjuran bersyukur. 3) Pesan Akhlak dan Etika: Meliputi berbakti dan berbuat baik kepada orang tua, pentingnya keikhlasan, kesabaran, serta ketaatan istri terhadap perintah suami yang tidak bertentangan dengan syariat. Melalui analisis semiotika Roland Barthes, pesan dakwah tersebut terungkap secara mendalam. Sebagai contoh, teguran halus Danil mengenai salam (Scene 1) dianalisis sebagai mitos yang menegaskan identitas keislaman dan dakwah bil hikmah. Demikian pula, adegan taubat dan permohonan maaf Intan kepada ibunya (Scene 2 & 3) diinterpretasikan sebagai mitos mengenai pentingnya ridha orang tua sebagai kunci keridhaan Allah. Secara keseluruhan, film ini berfungsi sebagai media dakwah modern yang menyampaikan ajaran moral dan spiritual secara interaktif kepada audiens.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has fundamentally changed the religious communication patterns of Muslims, including the practice of pulpit preaching, which has long been understood as an authoritative and sacred space for religious communication. This study aims to analyze the transformation of congregational communication patterns in receiving pulpit preaching in the digital era and examine how the position of the pulpit is reconstructed in relation to new media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, conducted in several large mosques in Lhokseumawe City. The results show that pulpit preaching is still maintained as a source of religious legitimacy, especially among adults and the elderly. However, the younger generation tends to combine physical presence in the mosque with the consumption of digital preaching through social media platforms. A key finding of this study is the emergence of a hybrid communication pattern, namely the integration of oral preaching from the pulpit with the distribution and amplification of messages through digital media. This pattern marks a shift in preaching from one-way communication to multi-channel dialogic communication that is participatory and interactive. Theoretically, this research enriches Islamic communication studies by integrating a transactional communication approach and uses and gratifications theory in the context of contemporary da'wah. Practically, these findings emphasize the importance of digital literacy for preachers and da'wah institutions to ensure that da'wah from the pulpit remains relevant, has broad reach, and fosters community engagement in a digital society.
