Abstract

Increasing scientific literacy in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era is a must. Scientific literacy is a skill that is very necessary in the 21st century, so it is important to improve it through various strategies. One effective strategy is innovative learning with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach, which integrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the learning process. This research involved samples from the Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) at the elementary, middle and high school levels in Kediri City to analyze the effectiveness of STEM-based learning in increasing scientific literacy. This article is a literature review that discusses the relationship between scientific literacy and the competencies needed in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, as well as how the STEM approach can be a solution in increasing scientific literacy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat peningkatan kesegaran jasmani melalui permainan tradisional siswa ekstrakurikuler SMP Negeri 1 Ngadiluwih. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei, dengan desain tes dan pengukuran berupa keterampilan teknik dasar. Teknik pengambilan subyek menggunakan total sampling, dengan merekrut seluruh subyek atlet ekstrakurikuler sepak takraw dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 20 atlet.Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah tim ekstrakurikuler SMP Negeri 1 Ngadiluwih dengan jumlah 20 siswa, dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes ini meliputi sepak mula, sepak sila, sepak kuda, heading, dan smash. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan presentasi. Hasil temuan penelitian siswa ekstrakurikuler SMP Negeri 1 Ngadiluwih yang mengikuti tes keterampilan bermain sepaktakraw 2 siswa atau 10% yang masuk kedalam kategori sangat baik, 2 siswa atau 10% masuk dalam kategori baik, 9 siswa atau 45% masuk dalam kategori sedang, 7 siswa atau 35% masuk dalam kategori kurang, dan siswa yang memiliki tingkat keterampilan dasar bermain sepaktakraw dalam kategori sangat rendah tidak ada. Dari hasil tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa keterampilan sepak takraw pada tim ekstrakurikuler SMP Negeri 1 Ngadiluwih masuk dalam kategori sedang, karena sesuai dengan hasil temuan kategori paling banyak adalah sedang sebanyak 9 pemain atau 45%.

Abstract

Semampir Village has great potential to be developed as a tourist destination for Ecoedu Sport Tourism because of the pristine natural beauty of its countryside. One of the attractions is a playground called riverside Semampir Village, Kediri City. Apart from its beautiful nature, Semampir Village is also rich in art and culture spread across various hamlets, and has traditional games which are part of local wisdom. The aim of this service activity is to encourage the development of Semampir Village as an Ecoedu Sport Tourism destination by optimizing the potential of traditional sports. The methods used in this service are Service Learning and CIPP, which aim to help partners solve problems faced in the tourism sector. Some of the activities that have been carried out include: 1) Literature study regarding traditional sports as part of Ecoedu Sport Tourism based on SWOT analysis, 2) Reintroduction of traditional games to children in Semampir Village, 3) Socialization and training of traditional sports, and 4) Focus group discussion (FGD) about tourist villages. The results achieved include: 1) Preparation of a joint commitment working paper between Semampir Village stakeholders as well as the results of the village SWOT analysis, and 2) Increasing the capacity of Pokdarwis and tourism managers in recognizing various types of traditional sports. The follow-up to this service will focus on strengthening the Semampir Village tourism promotion sector

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of plyometric box drill innovation on youth players at a leg power in soccer. This study used a quantitative approach, the type of research was experimental research, the research design used a non-rondomized group pretest-posttest, the sample numbered 65 players, while the leg power data was collected using a digital jump meter test instrument. The data gathered from participants were analyzed using SPSS software version 24, applying paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests with a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated that the two-tailed significance value was 0.000, which is below 0.05. This outcome suggests that the plyometric box drill innovation for youth soccer players had a statistically significant effect. The conclusion of this study states that the innovative plyometric box drill developed for youth soccer players at soccer schools in Tuban can increase leg power. This study showed that the plyometric box drill significantly improved the leg strength of young soccer players, which can be applied as an innovative training method in local soccer schools. The findings provide a basis for developing plyometric-based training programs that are more effective in preparing young players for the physical challenges in football.

Abstract

Augmented Reality KANGEN-AZI Stunting-Free through the Implementation of Sports Nutrition Class and Supplementary Feeding Formulation using Local Food Ingredients at SMANKOR Background: Adolescent athletes at SMANKOR (State Sports High School) face dual nutritional challenges: high nutrient demands for sports performance and the risk of stunting, which can hinder their physical and cognitive potential. Innovative and measurable nutritional interventions are needed to address this issue. To quantitatively measure the impact of a community service program integrating Augmented Reality (AR) KANGEN-AZI for sports nutrition education and the implementation of Supplementary Feeding (PMT) based on local food ingredients in stunting prevention efforts. This study employed a pre-test and post-test design involving 40 SMANKOR athletes. Quantitative data were collected through nutrition knowledge questionnaires, attitude scales, and nutritional status measurements (Body Mass Index for Age/BMI/A). The results showed a significant increase in the average nutrition knowledge score by 40.8% (from 62.5 to 88.0, p < 0.001). User engagement with AR KANGEN-AZI and acceptance of local food PMT were also high (average score > 4.2 on a 5-point scale). Physically, a positive shift in nutritional status was observed, with a reduction in the percentage of Underweight athletes from 15.0% to 5.0%. AR KANGEN-AZI proved to be an innovative and effective intervention model in enhancing nutritional literacy, changing behavior, and improving the nutritional status of adolescent athletes. The program quantitatively supports stunting prevention efforts and the optimization of sports achievement at SMANKOR
