Abstract

Planning financing education moment this is very close relation with problem quality education that is still become attention Lots parties . Improvement quality education done one of them through funding issued by educational units . In the context of this is what becomes problem is efficiency and relevance education combined with ability management education in using available funds For development education optimally . Research objectives This For knowing and analyzing planning financing education at SMAN 25 Bandung, level Power absorb based on report card data education , as well as analyze factor inhibitors and drivers effectiveness and efficiency utilization financing education . Research This use approach studies case with paradigm qualitative approach studies case aim For explore phenomenon certain related with experience subject research, such as behavior , perception , motivation and action in a way overall . The data collection method uses observation , interviews, documentation . The number of respondents in study This as many as five people. The data analysis technique used analysis content with objective For find data with understanding in- depth findings study show that (1) planning Education financing has been done with correct , consistent , and needs - based school (UPTD SMA Negeri 25 Bandung), (2) SMAN 25 Bandung utilizing two sources main, namely BOS funds from government parent center and donations managed by a committee school , which is in line with theory this

Abstract

Secondary education focuses not only on academic achievement but also on character formation and social skills development. Extracurricular activities, particularly the Scout Movement, serve as strategic instruments in integrating students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. However, the managerial mechanisms underlying Scouting's contribution to student achievement and discipline remain underexplored. This study aims to analyze Scout extracurricular management and its contribution to student achievement and discipline at SMA Negeri 7 Bandung. A qualitative approach with case study design was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving purposively selected principals, Scout instructors, and students. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model with source, method, and time triangulation. Results indicate that Scout extracurricular management is systematically implemented through planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling functions. Strengthening the Student Scout Council and ambalan system positions students as activity managers, developing leadership, responsibility, and organizational discipline. Scout management contributes positively to academic and non-academic achievement through enhanced self-management, learning discipline, and leadership experiences. Alumni support as social capital strengthens program sustainability. The study concludes that structured and participatory Scout extracurricular management functions as a strategic school instrument in fostering discipline and supporting sustainable student achievement;ABSTRAKPendidikan menengah tidak hanya berorientasi pada pencapaian akademik, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, khususnya Gerakan Pramuka, menjadi instrumen strategis dalam mengintegrasikan pengembangan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Namun, mekanisme manajerial yang melatarbelakangi kontribusi Pramuka terhadap prestasi dan disiplin siswa masih terbatas dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dan kontribusinya terhadap prestasi serta disiplin siswa di SMA Negeri 7 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, pembina Pramuka, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña dengan triangulasi sumber, metode, dan waktu. Hasil menunjukkan manajemen ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dilaksanakan sistematis melalui fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penguatan Dewan Kerja dan sistem ambalan memposisikan siswa sebagai pengelola kegiatan, mengembangkan kepemimpinan, tanggung jawab, dan disiplin organisasi. Manajemen Pramuka berkontribusi positif terhadap prestasi akademik dan non akademik melalui penguatan manajemen diri, disiplin belajar, dan pengalaman kepemimpinan. Dukungan alumni sebagai modal sosial memperkuat keberlanjutan program. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen ekstrakurikuler Pramuka yang terstruktur dan partisipatif berfungsi sebagai instrumen strategis dalam membentuk disiplin dan mendukung prestasi siswa berkelanjutan

Abstract

Changes in school starting times are educational policies that directly affect students' daily routines and have the potential to shape disciplinary character through consistent habituation. Although extensive research exists on school start time policies, most studies employ quantitative approaches that inadequately capture students' subjective experiences. This study aims to deeply understand students' experiences in responding to changes in school starting times and to analyze their impact on the formation of discipline patterns and character at SMPN 38 Bandung. The study employed a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods involving six participants from various grade levels. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using phenomenological stages including bracketing, data reduction, and synthesis of experiential essence. Results indicate that students experienced three adaptation phases: an initial phase with significant obstacles including sleep pattern disruptions and transportation constraints that increased tardiness, a habit formation phase that reduced tardiness after two months, and a character internalization phase encompassing meaningful responsibility, independence, and adherence. This study concludes that changes in school starting times can serve as effective instruments for disciplinary character formation when managed through humanistic approaches that acknowledge students' subjective experiences, accompanied by dialogical socialization, adaptation support, and educative supervision.ABSTRAKPerubahan jam masuk sekolah merupakan kebijakan pendidikan yang berdampak langsung pada rutinitas harian peserta didik dan berpotensi membentuk karakter disiplin melalui pembiasaan konsisten. Meskipun telah banyak penelitian tentang kebijakan jam masuk sekolah, sebagian besar menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang kurang mampu menggali pengalaman subjektif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami secara mendalam pengalaman siswa dalam menghadapi perubahan jam masuk sekolah serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pembentukan pola dan karakter disiplin di SMPN 38 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologis terhadap enam partisipan dari berbagai tingkatan kelas. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tahapan fenomenologis meliputi bracketing, reduksi data, dan sintesis esensi pengalaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa mengalami tiga fase adaptasi: fase awal dengan hambatan signifikan berupa gangguan pola tidur dan kendala transportasi yang meningkatkan keterlambatan, fase pembentukan kebiasaan baru yang menurunkan keterlambatan setelah dua bulan, dan fase internalisasi karakter berupa tanggung jawab, kemandirian, dan kepatuhan yang bermakna. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perubahan jam masuk sekolah dapat menjadi instrumen efektif pembentukan karakter disiplin apabila dikelola dengan pendekatan humanis yang memperhatikan pengalaman subjektif siswa, disertai sosialisasi dialogis, pendampingan adaptasi, dan pengawasan edukatif.
