Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, khususnya di daerah 3T (Terluar, Terpencil dan Tedalam), seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep Kurikulum Merdeka dan minimnya keterampilan dalam menyusun perangkat ajar yang kontekstual dan bermakna, seperti Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) Merdeka atau Modul Ajar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru MTs S Al-Hikmah Bahri Ternate dan MAS Hikmatul Bahri Ternate di Desa Pulau Buaya, Kabupaten Alor, Nusa Tenggara Timur, dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan perangkat ajar berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, 16 Juli 2025, menggunakan metode partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan praktis guru, yang tercermin dari antusiasme peserta serta kualitas RPP/Modul Ajar yang dihasilkan. Luaran kegiatan meliputi kumpulan perangkat ajar (RPP/Modul Ajar), video dokumentasi, dan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung kesiapan guru untuk mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif di satuan pendidikan masing-masing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the local wisdom values of the Alor ethnic group which contains the meaning of tolerance, divided into three dimensions, namely the local wisdom of the Alor ethnic group which is related to religiosity, nature and fellow humans. Religion, as a religious community, implements cultural values between people in traditional baloe (new eating) rituals and preserves the nature that has been passed down from ancestors. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Informants in the research included school principals, teachers, students, traditional leaders, community leaders and religious leaders. Participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation were used as tools to collect research data. Data validity with source triangulation. The findings in this research are that students get used to respecting and respecting each other in terms of differences in ethnicity, religion and race, then getting students used to being involved in implementing cultural values that have been passed down from their ancestors and carrying out their obligations as religious people.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine and describe two main things, namely (1) the role of teachers in the formation of civic character of fourth-grade students at the UPTD SD Negeri Dulolong, Alor Barat Laut District, Alor Regency, and (2) the driving and inhibiting factors that influence teachers in forming the civic character of students at the school. The researcher was also guided directly by two supervising lecturers, namely Mr. (Sudarto Lukman Lema) as supervisor I and Mr. (Rusmin Mulyadin Tut) as supervisor II. Based on the background of this study, it is based on the importance of civic character education at the elementary school level as an effort to form a generation with character, love for the homeland, responsibility, and ability to live in society according to national values. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The research subjects consisted of fourth-grade teachers, students, and parents of students. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers in the formation of civic character in students at the UPTD SD Negeri Dulolong includes the role of facilitator, guide, motivator, and role model. Teachers not only teach civics material, but also foster students through exemplary attitudes, habits, and character building in the school environment. In addition, this study also found that the driving factors that influence the success of teachers in forming civic character in students include student enthusiasm, parental support, cooperation between school parties, the availability of infrastructure, a conducive school environment, and a curriculum that supports civic values. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the lack of involvement of some parents at home, low discipline of some students, and limited facilities to support character activities at school. Thus, the success of the formation of civic character in students at this school is influenced by the integration of various driving factors, the ability of teachers to carry out their roles optimally, and the school's strategy in overcoming various obstacles faced.
