Abstract

In Indonesia, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have long been recognized as a very important business sector due to their various real roles in the economy. However, MSMEs often face many obstacles in running their businesses. More incentive support from various parties, especially the government, is needed for the development of MSMEs. In order to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs and support their sustainability, a KKU (Business Field Study) activity was carried out by Group 15 at the KKU-11 of the Institute of Technology and Business (ITB) Adias Pemalang at the MSME “Ev_Kids Product.”After conducting an observation phase, several problems faced by the SME were identified, including the lack of social media for marketing, failure to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and maintain simple accounting records, absence of a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, receipt books, and product attributes. Additionally, the SME had never produced a production video or promotional video. After conducting the observation phase, KKU actors formulated several business development assistance programs, namely creating social media accounts, calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), creating simple bookkeeping, creating a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, note books, and product attributes in the form of hangtags. They also created production videos and promotional videos.

Abstract

The volatility of plastic packaging costs poses a serious challenge to the sustainability of food and beverage MSMEs because it directly impacts the production cost structure, product price stability, and business profitability. This condition encourages the importance of integrating financial, marketing, and management information systems as an adaptive strategy to improve MSME business resilience. This study aims to analyze the effect of integrating financial, marketing, and management information systems on the ability of MSMEs to overcome plastic packaging cost volatility, as well as to examine the mediating role of decision-making quality. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 300 food and beverage MSMEs in the Jabodetabek area. Data collection techniques were carried out using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics through multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results show that the integration of financial, marketing, and management information systems has a positive and significant effect on the ability of MSMEs to cope with plastic packaging cost volatility. The quality of decision-making was also shown to significantly mediate this relationship. This study implies that digital transformation based on information systems integration is an important strategy in improving operational efficiency, business adaptability, and resilience of MSMEs in situations of production cost uncertainty.

Abstract

The digital transformation of public services has changed how governments interact with citizens by providing more accessible, efficient, and technology-based services. However, the effectiveness of digital public services depends not only on technological infrastructure but also on citizens' digital literacy, electronic service quality, and trust. This study aims to analyze the effects of digital literacy and e-service quality on public satisfaction and examine the mediating role of trust in digital public services. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design and a cross-sectional data collection method. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling from citizens with experience using government digital services. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that digital literacy and e-service quality positively contribute to public trust and satisfaction. Trust also plays an important role in increasing satisfaction and mediates the relationships between digital literacy and satisfaction and between e-service quality and satisfaction. These findings imply that successful digital public service transformation requires an integrated strategy combining digital literacy development, high-quality electronic services, data security, and strengthened public trust.
